Level 780, often nicknamed "Devil's Manor", is the 781st level of the Backrooms. Avoid this level at all costs. The chances of you surviving is near 0.

Description

Level 780 is a hot, hellish level, similar to depictions of Hell in media. This level is small compared to most other levels. If you were to enter this level; 1, God Help You, 2, You will end up in either a reception-type room or outside the Castle which is surrounded by a moat of unidentified liquid, presumably mercury due to the silvery appearance. If you end up outside, chances are you will not survive for longer than 5 minutes. The moat is deep, and there are entities everywhere, not to mention you will probably faint from the heat if you try to survive out there.

However, if you end up in the reception, you must speak to the thing behind the desk, it will ask you a question - "Do you want to escape the backrooms?". Do not answer, if you say yes, you will be teleported to The End, saying no will make the thing laugh maniacally, and then will teleport you to a jail cell, where you will be trapped forever. The cell has weak wifi, and has a spell which makes the occupants invincible. There are currently over 300 people in these cells.

To escape his question, make him confused, either by asking questions or by doing indescribable things. This will make him 'Malfunction' and eventually say 'Correct!' and then will let you deeper into the castle. The true answer to his question is unknown. If you answer once, you can freely go into the castle whenever, but you will still have to avoid being killed when trying to get to the safezone.

When you get past reception, SPRINT. Run until you reach two pillars with what seems to be a silk-like see through wall. Run into it and you'll reach the safezone. It is devoid of entities, except for Cerberus, which is friendly unless you try to enter the Vault, which contains two portals which lead to either Level ! or The Hub. This is where 'The Lucky Few' reside.

Entities

  • The Receptionist - If you enter and end up in the Reception room, he is behind the desk.
  • Hellhound - A normal hound, but stronger, smarter and bigger. They have veins all over them, burn marks on their fur and red eyes/no eyes at all.
  • Cerberus - A huge three-headed hellhound guarding Level 780's Vault, filled with rare minerals, gold and, uh, super almond water?
  • Skin Stealers - Hundreds Thousands are found outside the castle.
  • Facelings - Thousands are found outside the castle.

Colonies and Outposts

The Lucky Few

  • 24 Members
  • Open to trade
  • You probably wont get to them before you get mauled to death
  • Reside deep inside the castle, where there are no entities.
  • Have surplus almond water from it dripping from the ceiling.
  • The only reason they're still there is because they will most likely die if they try to exit.

Entrances and Exits

Entrances

  • A few tunnels from Level 1819.
  • There is a pillar in Level 4 that periodically turns reddish, but very slightly. Noclip through it.
  • Doors in Level 2 have an extremely low chance of taking you to the Reception room.

Exits

  • Answering 'Yes' to the receptionist will lead you to The End.
  • The Vault has a portal which leads to The Hub. It also has a portal which leads to Level !. Both are identical and switch every so often.
  • "Dying" in the Safezone will lead you to Level 4.
  • Noclipping through the reception desk will lead you to Level !
