Level 7879: "The Distant Shore"

Level 7879 is the 7880^th level of the Backrooms.

Description

Level 7879 is a large, possibly endless ocean surrounded by a thick fog. When the level is entered the wanderer will be on a raft with a plastic bag with two bottles of almond water and a bottle of liquid pain, floating through the sea. After floating for about an hour a bright colorfull island full of fruit trees and a collony of fake puffballs will apear. However, the closer the raft gets to the island the furter the island gets away, However the island doesnt float away from you. Swimming is hopeless however beacuse of a strange property of the water that causes you to sink rapidly.

Upon entering the level you will become incredibly thirsty and burn through pretty much all liquids on you to stay alive, this is where many die as some drink the liquid pain in a rush.

Entities

• The whale. The whale is a giant humpback whale with flashing bioluminecent algae and other creatures on its back, it has no baleen and instead a few sets of razor sharp teeth. It speaks a mix of Swedish and English in order to temp you into swiming so you will sink and it can devour you. It is very convincing and if it cant get too you within five minutes it confuses you with its flasing back so you fall in.
• Fakeouts. Fakeouts are entities that work along with the whale to tempt you twords the island with fake fruit and life. Every so often they yell for you to come over in a crumbly voice.

Colonies and Outposts

The Fake Puffballs

• Thousands of fakeouts that work together with the whale to get food.
• Actually mostly vegans that eat fruit from the trees, however every so often they will split a catch with a whale.
• Once a drone was sent over with a bundle of wood, the fakeouts took the wood and sent the drone back with a sack of fruit. This means they are most likley open to trading.

Entrances

• By drownng yourself in one of the fish tanks on level 0000
• Somtimes wanderers are randomly brought here from level 100
• Reading the words "Colorful Doomsday" aloud in any level.

Exits

• It is theorized noclipping through the raft can bring you to level 7 but this is unconfirmed.
• By asking the whale "Why are you tempted by the colorful graveyard of the sea?" over and over you will be sent to level !
