Level 790 is the 791st level of the Backrooms. This level appears to be a liminal grass plain, devoid of any sort of entity. So far, the farthest anyone has traveled is 109,041 miles, and seems to be infinite.Warning: Display title "Level 790: "Grassy Plain"" overrides earlier display title "Level 790: "Safe Plains"".

Description

Level 790 is the 791st level of the Backrooms. This level appears to be a liminal grass plain, empty of any sort of entity. So far, the farthest anyone has traveled is 9,041 miles, and seems to be infinite. Every 10 miles, a house (usually a small wooden house or a modern 1-story house) will be visible and you can walk into the house and easily live there as long as you'd like. Each house is fully furnished, powerful Wi-Fi; water and electric also work via unknown means. The kitchen has an electric stove and oven, and seem to not be able to start fires no matter how hot the settings are set to or what is placed inside. The kitchen has a Refrigerator (brand varies) and is fully stocked with almond water, almond cake, and a random assortment of everyday foods. If no person is within 50 feet of the refrigerator, it will restock completely. There is no limit to this function.

(Notice: Making a household will Not hold the anomalous qualities of wifi and water/electric.)

Many trees can be found, usually oak or maple. The weather here varies from clear to light thunder. Lightning seems to never hit the ground.

Age does not progress, and injuries heal over time. It is possible to die if the injuries are fatal enough.

Each house has a basement, of which has 4 doors:

  • The 1st door leads to a random level (0-40).
  • The 2nd door leads to a 16x16x16 concrete room with skylights, and a single lawnchair. Sitting in this chair regains your sanity at a moderate rate.
  • The 3rd has a small 12x8x16 room with some other tools, such as non-euclidian backpacks (these can hold up to 1/2 an american ton before you can feel the weight increase, and the inside is varying, usually 10-12 times the size of what a normal backpack would hold of that size), flashlights, and toolbelts that seem to be specifically made to hold almond water bottles.
  • The 4th door leads to The Hub.

Colonies and Outposts

There are many outposts and Colonies, but mainly some small groups in individual houses living together. The main colony is distributing digital maps that update with residences being established.

Another colony is focusing on gathering wood and recently founded a mine and are attempting to build a small town.

Entrances

  • Looking at a wall in Level 0 for 1 hour
  • Entering from The Hub
  • 1 out of 903,820,589,013,829,048,029.8 chance from noclipping in The Frontrooms

Exits

  • Exiting Basement door 1 will bring you to levels 0-40, completely random.
  • Breaking into a house with the intention to murder or any other malicious intent will bring you to Level !
  • Dying will bring you do level 791
  • Surviving a week here will make a door leading to Level 791 appear, however if you refuse to enter after 2 hours the door will disappear.
