Level 791 is a place similar to Level 10. The level is an infinite field covered in snow, with odd 19th-century houses in the fields. Entire villages can also be found which can lead you to Level 9, Level 9.1, Level 94, Level -48, Level -81, Level -100 or Level 394 depending on the style of the house. The level also features elements from other levels in the Backrooms, specifically the main nine and their sublevels.
The fields give off a strange smell that seems to calm Wanderers and make them feel at peace. Despite this, this level is extremely deadly and will try and kill you as fast as it can. Hundreds of entities appear here, most commonly Hounds, Skin Stealers, Deathmoths, adult Facelings, Windows, Smilers, Dullers, and even Insanities. The environment is not welcoming either. This level will try to kill you in any way possible, from enormous rabbit holes dropping you into hundreds of meter deep pits, to enormous hailstones falling from the sky directly in your path. This level even drains your sanity quickly. It is advised to try and escape through any means necessary.
The weather is also extremely hazardous. Hurricanes far larger and stronger than any seen in the Frontrooms occur regularly, with the highest recorded wind speed being 426mph. The temperature is always -24°C, but Wanderers have reported it to be a comforting 11°C.
Colonies and Outposts
There are no Colonies or Outposts due to the extreme risk of death and the drain of sanity. It has been recorded that it can turn you into a stage 1 insanity in 8 hours.
Entrances and Exits
Entrances
The only way to enter is by surviving a week on Level 790. This will cause a door to appear in front of you allowing you to enter this level.
Exits
- Noclipping through a yellow door takes you to Level 0.
- Entering a random exit door in the middle of the field takes you to Level 1.
- Jumping down a pipe takes you to Level 2.
- Entering a vent in the side of a house takes you to the ventilation of Level 3.
- Breaking through a blacked out window leads to Level 4.
- Entering into a hotel door takes you to Level 5.
- Climbing up a metal ladder inside of an industrial house takes you into Level 6.
- Allowing yourself to drown in a lake will cause you to wake up in Level 7.
- Surviving a fall down one of the enormous holes takes you to Level 8.
- Entering a modern, suburban town takes you to Level 9.
- Entering a modern, suburban town in snow takes you to Level 9.1. You can also end up there by falling unconscious in a red patch of grass.
- Entering a European suburban village takes you to Level -100.
- Entering a coastal town will take you to Level 394.
- Entering a French village takes you to Level -48.
- Noclipping in a rainbow patch of grass will take you to Level 342.
- Entering a 1930's town in a stop-motion type feel takes you to Level 94.
- Falling unconscious in a Tractor causes you to wake up in Level 10.
- Being cured as an Insanity takes you to Level 11.
- Getting in a car causes you to fall unconscious and wake up in Level 69.
- Entering a 19th century British town takes you to Level -81.
- Finding a cute object and picking it up will cause you to wake up in a bed in Level 974.
- Sinning in this level takes you to Level 999 where you must then repent for that sin 79 times instead of once.
Note
If you die in any of these levels without travelling to another level beforehand, you will wake back up in Level 791.
