Level 7 is the 8th level of the Backrooms.

Description

Level 7 is a huge bleached brick warehouse and with the concrete floor, the floor colors vary from gray, grey-brown, brown, white, black, beige (the main colors confirmed.) Level 7 is covered by working lanterns and a lot of water. It is common to find apparently empty paint buckets, often featuring well-known brands in the Frontrooms, as well as containing several unique and random features and usually the appearance of windows, doors, stairs, iron or wooden tables, wooden chairs or plastic chairs. children's lamps, lamps, non-functional rifles, national flags, baskets with food from pots, broken furniture like televisions, chairs, tables, broken counters and even dangerous objects like Liquid Pain.

It is observed that Level 7 is increasingly increasing its small water level because of water drops coming from holes in the walls and ceiling, it is not possible to see inside these holes because they are extremely small and only something dark can be seen for a while inside, including, it has been studied that the components of water are safe to be consumed, even with their greenish appearance, it is possible that this occurs due to the color of the floor, which confuses the walkers who feel disapproximation of the liquid.

Rarely appearance of other walkers occurs at Level 7, being considered totally devoid of human life. This makes it easier to do not escape the level due to the loss of sanity and the feeling of being alone, making any humans there go crazy. In addition to the major regions of the level being unknown, with an assumption the Level 7 has impossibly huge dimensions or contains an infinite, a endless structure.

Possessing many random doors throughout the level, it is possible that extremely rarely some can lead to a structure that has polished stone brick structures and mounds of sand throughout the regions of the room. It is considered very dangerous to access this room due to the possibility of having dangerous entities such as Figures, Aranea Membris, Skin-Stealers and █████.

In addition to the entities located in the stone brick room, It is said by many wanderers, an entity not cataloged for now that may exist beyond the accessible regions of Level 7, the anomaly refers to a creature characterized by an appearance close to that of a huge marine life similar to a devilfish, but with a rumored structure with a body 2 times larger than the original, and the ways to meet this entity have not had many known attempts to occur, or at least there is evidence that the ways work. The various meetings and readings of the submitted reports may refer in the ways as stated below:

Encounter With an Unknown Entity

  • Noclip attempts will most likely not work, only the registered ones.
  • The items in the place are random, it's common to find an axe and then try to break the wall.
  • Use the holes that leak water, try to use them to open a bigger opening.
  • Making an extremely loud noise, greater than an ordinary human scream, can wake up the entity.
  • Go up and down the stairs several times while screaming and trying to break the walls.

The above information, rest assured that it might not work, as confirmed and recorded attempts might show the failure. But it can still be true, not confirmed.

Entities

There is a moderate amount of entities in the main parts of the level, their types are quite varied due to Level 7's variety of perception and its infinite possibilities of objects found, but some more dangerous entities that can be found in the aforementioned stone room are the only ones that can be exactly confirmed without too many varieties.

Colonies and Outposts

Even though it is possible to gather a colony here and survive collectively, for some unknown reason, there are no colonies at this level.

Entrances and Exits

Entrances

  • Because of the structure of Level 6, it is extremely difficult to find Level 7, but if you find it, a luminescent exit staircase will be visible, right after the stairs, find a door, open it and get here.

Exits

  • A random door takes you to a stone brick room, mentioned on the previous page, after facing the existing entities continue your way, in an indefinite time, you will be teleported back to Level 0.

Level 7 is the 8th level of the Backrooms.

Footage of Level 7.

Description

Level 7 is unique in that it is a vast expanse of water that appears to stretch on endlessly.

An image of the "room" in Level 7.

Nobody thus far has fully explored Level 7, but what is currently known is that the first and potentially only "room" of Level 7 is not flooded and has the usual fluorescent lighting. The room has a thin layer of water on the bottom, and is strangely skewed from the rest of the floor. Anomalously, the single door opens to show the surface of the water from a top-down perspective. The room is seemingly rotated horizontally, but gravity still works to keep one's feet on the floor in the first room. Upon entry, gravity switches to pulling one towards the water and is significantly stronger than regular gravity. The water has been reported to be very cold and it is generally unadvised to enter it.

The floor of the ocean is made up of carpet hardened by a thick layer of tar above it. There are several skeletons, including several almost-humanoid figures and massive fish. Little else is known about the depths of the waters, aside from the endless expanse of tar and bones.

This level poses a significant barrier to future exploration of Level 8 and onward.

Colonies and Outposts

Guide Outpost 05 (Former)

This research base previously owned by both B.A.S and T.T.G is now abandoned.

Pre-Abandonment:

  • Have 8 B.A.S scientist and 20 T.T.G Guards
  • Main purpose is to study the depth of the 'seafloor', search for exit and/or find an alleged and legendary creature rumored to claim its abode in the ocean depths of Level 7, a very ancient legend.
  • Set up a temporal camp near the only room.
  • After finding the 'seafloor' seemingly 'infinite' deep and eventually finding a more 'practical' exit, the team gets attacked by robe-wearing attackers (likely TPWG, see above) and retreated through the more 'practical' exit, ending up at Level 4 with a sealed, water leaking fire-door.
  • Base abandoned.

Backroom Colonists

A research outpost owned by the group in question that is relatively big. It has currently 40 people guarding it and it has similar properties to The Floaters previous outpost. While it is pretty recreational, they have sea related equipment to do experiments on the ocean.

Outpost 207

  • Created by the outpost group
  • Relatively friendly
  • Open to trade
  • Base made of random furniture
  • 65 members

The Floaters

  • Had 23 people
  • Lived in a medium sized outpost with a makeshift swimming pool where they would swim for both fun and for exercise
  • Destroyed.
  • Rumored to have been taken by the thing on Level 7

Entrances and Exits

Entrances

Eight known ways to enter Level 7 are:

  • Wandering far enough in Level 6; the feel with the exit from Level 6 to here, it looks like a ramp.

Exits

  • It is rarely possible to find a broken drain in the darkest and most dangerous parts of the Level 7 ocean, this after finding a sewer-like structure, trying to enter these drains will redirect the wanderer to Level 8.
  • A more practical way of exiting is through a double side door with a "No Exit" sign. It leads back to Level 4.

Level 7 is the 8th level of the Backrooms, and one of the most mysterious and dangerous levels.

Description

Level 7 is considered as an ocean extended to an unknown point, due to its open sky structure, hardly any wanderer has the possibility to make crossings in more distant regions in relation to the entrance room.[1] The lighting is extremely strong right when you first enter, many wanderers have lost their sight because of it or even suffered from heart and vision problems, but that's only on the surface, as the deeper into Level 7's ocean, the darker and more dangerous it is.

Level 7 consists of a room with yellow wallpaper with similar characteristics to Level 0, with some furniture under the water flooding the room, such as a broken television, clock, drawers and paintings, it is possible to see a huge window, where the strong light mentioned earlier enters the room, the ceiling is made of concrete with a color similar to the wall and soon after a door redirecting to a staircase, and the staircase redirecting to a wide and unknown endless ocean. The ocean can be said to be the "main region of the level." After leaving the entrance room, a wooden structure with bases for the room will be noticeable, having a structure of 3 by 2, it is unknown how far the wooden structure sinks into the ocean.

After exploring the ocean surface of Level 7, you can see several islands of rocks with small parts of land and grass, these islands are the safest regions to inhabit Level 7, unlike the rest of the ocean. The islands can contain various food objects important for the wanderer's survival, such as almond water or even full plates of food, even with these islands looking like paradise, staying on them for a long time can cause burns due to the enormous heat coming somehow from the "sky" of Level 7 and because of the light itself, so you have to keep it too floating in the ocean or stabilize in the entrance room/return to Level 6.

Level 7 is completely devoid of life, researchers from various outposts and colonies have already gathered to research Level 7's ocean structure, so they soon split into 5 layers:

Brightvision Ocean

The Brightvision Surface is the surface of the ocean, all previous text has been specially referred to it. But in short, Brightvision Surface is the brightest part, its light has already had the possibility of blinding people, in addition, several islands of stones have been found in its region.

Ocean Plateau

After sinking into the ocean at Level 7, it is possible to observe nothing, but a deeper exploration will take the hiker to a layer characterized by an endless coral reef, here you can already find structures similar to shipwrecks and non-organic skeletons with a rocky material, being completely uninhabited of life and a great danger of suffocation by pressure and lack of oxygen, in addition to the lighting dimming here, it is possible that staying here for too long can kill the walker from hyperthermia, having his bones crushed by the pressure or dying from lack of air

Ocean Scarlet

This region is very dark, the use of the flashlight would contribute a lot to the vision of those who are lost at the bottom, but it does not contribute to survival, the light can attract an entity similar to a Devilfish with a size approximately 2 times larger than than normal with deformations that differentiate it from something normal, many colonies refer to it as "Scarlet Fish" or "Level 7 Stalker." This region is extremely dangerous because it contains the Scarlet Fish, any kind of sound or movement in the water can attract it, and it is problematic to try to avoid it and at the same time having to withstand the water pressure. Strangely, the Ocean Scarlet does not drown the wanderer, which is a good thing. The structure of this region is composed by the summit of smooth rocks that descend to the last layer, it is possible to find some coral reefs here, but it is rare.

Ocean Vantablack

Flashlights are barely working here, it is not possible to see anything because of the darkness, this region is composed of, in addition to the smooth stone mounds, sharp thorns sticking out of rocks, it is impossible to find supplies here, the wanderer does not drown but still is in danger because of the Scarlet Fish, besides the water pressure starts to make it difficult to pass through the region and can kill you, here there is a lot of poison that leaks from the thorns, most of the wanderers die here. Here is located the supposed exit to Level 8, besides being dangerous.

Ocean of Suffering

There is no confirmed structure for this layer, as Ocean of Suffering is completely dark and flashlights or any other luminous objects do not work, anyone who tries to cross this area has their bones slowly shattered as they are tortured by the pressure, as well as being slowly poisoned as well. Even Scarlet Fish avoids this area, don't enter here.

Entities

There is only one known entity, Scarlet Fish usually inhabits Ocean Scarlet and Ocean Vantablack, it rarely visits Ocean Plateau. This entity is extremely hostile and is attracted to sound, movement and light, when it finds its victim, it tortures it while chewing it before exactly cutting it into pieces and eating it. In addition to this danger, only natural compositions of the level itself.

Colonies and Outposts

Backroom Colonists

This outpost is located on an island of rocks, its base was built with materials found on "wrecked" ships of the Ocean Plateau. They keep a lot of food and material resources to help with survival, you will hardly find them because of the vast extent of Level 7.

Outpost-68

  • They are fragile and almost collapsed 3 times.
  • Has small resources and are poor.
  • Have been supported by Backroom Colonists numerous times.
  • They don't like new visitors because of the big expense of resources with current inhabitants
  • It has approximately 24 members, they live on a shipwreck of the Ocean Plateau.

  1. A record of longest voyage completed within Level 7 is filed, a wanderer with undisclosed identity (cited by many colonies as "John Doe of Sea"), made a crossing of approximately 34 kilometers showing a recording of 2 weeks and 3 days live for “Backrooms Colonists.” After crossing the recorded kilometers, the recording dropped, it is possible that the wanderer has crossed further, but for now he is presumably dead. John Doe of Sea said that prior to the Level 7 adventure, he had made a stop at Level 6 to go to Level 7, after meeting with MEG at Level 5 about his own record and how it would help research into the same. So soon the article will be based only on that.
