Description
Level 8.3 seems to closely resemble the cave system of Level 8 but caves on Level 8.3 also seem to be smaller than Level 8 and contain several water pools with an unknown heat source. The Cavern walls of level 8.3 contain many rare glowing gemstones that are highly valuable on the marketplace. The gemstones can appear in various colors such as blue, green and yellow. The gems have also been observed to be capable of healing anyone in a close radius and enhancing the strength of whoever wields the gem. The region appears to be far safer than Level 8 but that may change with the increasing human presence on Level 8.3 as the caverns grow dark with the absence of gemstones, evil lurks.
Entities
Few entities have been found in Level 8.3 but there is a growing Smilers population due to high human activity levels. Variants of spiders formerly found on Level 8 but their numbers are few.
Colonies and Outposts
There are 2 colonies and outposts on Level 8.3, both are rivaling each other.
The Miners
- The Miners are a large capitalist group that formed with the sole goal of profiting from the large gem deposits in the level.
The Gem Protectors
- The Gem Protectors are a strong group that rivals the Miners and seeks to protect the gems, they are openly friendly to most but will not under any circumstance sell/trade gems.

- Entering a cave that somehow emits light on Level 8 will bring you here.
Exits
- Surfacing will bring you back to Level 8.
