Level 8008 "why"
Level 8008 is the 8009th level of the backrooms.
Really nice cabin, of suicidal thoughts.
Description
It seems like a really nice level, where you go on and on in a small little house, with a warm fire, where nothing can go wrong. Oh look, a nice view of the mountains! But NOPE. Once you get going and think your doing well, STOPS RIGHT THERE. Oh you've been walking for hours, and your pace has been good? DEAD END. Now you have to turn around but guess what? Theres no exit. NO GODDAMN EXIT, AND YOUR TRAPPED FOR 2 DAYS WITH A SMALL AMOUNT OF RESOURCES AND THEN YOU REALIZE THERES A GODDAMN TRAP DOOR. Now let's keep going! Oh look a cool door that's probably an exit? Let's open it! BRICK WALL. Don't even try. The level itself is safe, but istg that it's trying to get under our skin.
Anomalous properties.
- You can find phones scattered around randomly, but you'll drop them immediately after finding them, breaking their screen.
- If you're craving something salty, you realize that you finished the bag of chips yesterday.
- Are you craving something sweet, there isn't anything sweet in this level. Guess the original owner of this cabin wasn't into candy.
- You'll only find glass water bottles, so if you accidentally drop it, all of your water goes crashing everywhere.
- Water tastes like metal for some reason.
- All water is slightly above room temperature making you feel uncomfortable when you drink it.
- There are no bathrooms. If you gotta go you gotta go.
- The food is stale.
- All of the chairs have one leg that's too short and every book is too big to put under it.
- There is always 2 creases in the rug, making it so if you try to push one down, the other one comes up, and the only way to end this hellish cycle is to lift up the furniture.
- All utensils are too dull to kill yourself with.
- You constantly have to deal with that feeling where you want to sneeze, but can't.
- Memories by Maroon 5 is always stuck in your head
- The only guns found on this level, is a revolver, with 1 bullet, and if you try to play Russian Roulette, it will always result with you surviving, and if you try to straight up shoot yourself, the gun jams.
- Whenever you try to sleep, your pillow will always be warm no matter what.
- The only radio station is WRXT Spirit FM 90.3 FM from Richmond Virginia. Odd choice.
- All the clocks are 2hrs behind
- The clocks ticking is unusually loud.
- The sole in your shoes constantly gets pushed forward.
Entities
It is devoid of entities. The only thing that makes this dangerous is because of how much this level makes you want to give up on life.
Colonies and Outposts.
There are none because colonies would've HELPED YOU. I mean you can make your own "Colony" containing only yourself, but that would be useless, just like this level's existence jesus fucking christ.
Entrances and exits
Entrances
If you are unlucky enough to stumble upon this level:
- Level 534: It is a 0.042% chance to stumble upon this level through 534, by entering a classroom. I feel bad for those 0.042% of people.
- Any level: You can enter this level by touching "Jerry"'s private parts. How did someone find this jeez.
Exits
- The Frontrooms: If you somehow manage to tolerate this shithole for 30 years, you can get transported back to the frontrooms. Still a horrible idea.
- Level 9.9: You can enter this level by attempting to burn yourself alive in the lit campfire. Understandably the most common exit.
