The starting point of Level 825

Description

Level 825 takes the form of an impossibly vast and seemingly abandoned office building consisting mostly of a endlessly stretching maze of office cubicles with the occasional break rooms, board rooms, secretary desks and “superior” offices. Each cubicle has a desk, chair, filing cabinet and computer inside of it and the occasional “Hang In There” poster and other motivational posters of that nature. All miscellaneous items that can be found in Level 825 whether it be coffee mugs or cleaning products all have a logo of a red eye with the name “Overseer Corp” on the bottom as well as the company’s motto “We See All, We Own All” occasionally.

Sounds of buzzing fluorescent lights, ringing phones from a distance and muffled sounds of active machinery flood the ambience of this level.

Level 825 has one known sub-level in the form of a massive, automated underground facility.

Although the level starts off in a pristine and well kept condition, the level becomes more decayed and rundown the more wanderers progress through it and progressively more dangerous as well. The hostile entities populating Level 825 becoming more plentiful as a wanderer progresses as well.

Properties

Level 825 seems to be in a perpetual state of nighttime with an ominous blood red moon in the night sky with dark purple clouds. A city landscape can be seen looking out one of the windows in the board rooms or superior offices.

There are hundreds of Water Coolers filled with Almond Water that never seem to run out. However the more wanderers progress the water coolers will begin to be filled with Liquid Pain instead.

As stated before, Level 825 has one known sub-level known as The Facility which is one massive, completely automated package and shipping facility consisting of conveyor belts and robotic arms that pack and ship unknown materials in cardboard boxes. This sub-level is swarming with Level 825’s unique entity, The Camera Heads.

Almond Cake can occasionally be found in one of the break rooms.

Multiple Blueprints for Super Weapons can be found in Level 825. The blueprints for what weapon and where they can be found are as follows.

  • Laser Rifle - Found in the filing cabinet of an office cubicle with a Camera Head bobble head on the desk.
  • Hydro Knuckles - Found leaning against a Water Cooler in a hallway after about five minutes of wandering through.
  • The Badcall - Found in an office cubicle with a phone ringing after about ten minutes of wandering through.
  • Sticky Bomb - Found on the desk of a superior office guarded two Wage Slaves.
  • Robo Fists - Found in a cardboard box marked with a gear symbol deep within the Facility.
  • Joker Poster - Found within a false computer on a secretary desk guarded by a Camera Head after about thirty minutes of wandering through.

The Facility

The Facility’s robotic arms

By entering a metal, black and yellow stripped door marked “Employees Only”, wanderers will enter Level 825’s main sub-level, The Facility.

Th Facility is essentially an endless, automated factory consisting almost entirely of conveyor belts, robotic claws and unknown machinery. This facility’s purpose st large is unknown but it seems to function mostly as a shipping and packaging facility as an endless array of cardboard boxes line the conveyor belts with the robotic claws operating the belt package unknown materials and tape up the boxes as they move by.

These mechanical arms seem to be sentient as getting closer then two meters to one of them will cause them to cease their functions and try to reach for the closest wanderers and crush them with their metal claws.

Entities

Death Moths and Death Rats are present in Level 825 and the population of these entities increase the more degraded the level becomes as wanderers progress through it.

Camera Heads

Artist’s depiction of Camera Heads

Level 825 is practically ruled over by a unique class of entity known as the Camera Heads.

The Camera Heads are tall, lanky humanoid entities ranging up to eight feet in height. Their bodies are highly skeletal in appearance with their pale, corpse-like skin having a vacuum-sealed appearance over their bones. They have long, three foot long claws made entirely of sharpened bone that they use to cling and climb on walls and ceilings as well as attack and hunt with.

The Camera Heads most distinct feature and where they get their namesake from, are their heads that take the form of security cameras varying in appearance with wires and tubes coming out from their necks and chests connecting to said cameras. No matter the model, all Camera Heads have the Overseer Corp logo on the side of their cameras.

The Camera Heads are exceptionally fast and much more powerful and durability than their emaciated appearance may lead to believe as they have a resistance to bullets and blunt objects. Electricity has been shown to “short circuit” and stun Camera Heads long enough to make a quick escape and land a few good hits and potentially kill them.

Camera Heads are extremely hostile and will attack any wanderer that isn’t registered as an “employee”. Wanderers can fool Camera Heads into thinking they’re an employee by wearing one of the same suits of the enslaved wanderer populace inhabiting Level 825.

While most Camera Heads are completely nude, some have been shown wearing suits and displaying a higher form of intelligence, leading some to believe these are superior, “boss” Camera Heads that rule over and command the more hostile ones.

Colonies and Outposts

Wage Slaves

The Wage Slaves are a “colony” of wanderers that have been enslaved by the Camera Heads and populate Level 825 against their will. Wage Slaves are extremely hostile and will attack wanderers in a desperate attempt to please their camera headed masters.

All Wage Slaves wear identical tailored suits and ties which allow the Camera Heads to differentiate between “employees” and “intruders”. The Wage Slaves are very high strung due to being in under constant surveillance by the Camera Heads.
