870
Class 3
Level 870, contrarily known as 'Intoxicated Indoor Pool,', is a vast expanse of adjacent, arrayed rooms sembling the precise appearance of liminal pools and natatoriums. The rooms are therefore consistently tiled, with only few having their floors be constituted from wet, gray carpet; this particular stylization causes the level to bear striking visual similarities to The Poolrooms, albeit with inconspicuous divergences and disparities mainly regarding profound and unnoticeable qualities. The size of this deployment abides inconclusive due to the hostile environment, several wanderers however claimed to have traversed more than seven thousand diverse rooms wholly.
The lighting on Level 870 is quite peculiar and anomalous; the only actual light sources are the scant windows present on this level, yet regardless of rarity and vicinity of windows, the level is bightly lit at almost every spot, deviating only colossaly remote from windows. Suspicions have it that the cosmic object illuminating the level is extremely tremendous, or much more proximate to Level 870 than the earth is to the sun. None of that can be proven, but looking out of these windows is pretty much impossible nonetheless, as one will witness incredible light, often leading to loose, faulty or destroyed eyesight thereafter. Due to the unbelievably bright rays shining into the level, areas near windows are significantly hotter than those far away, leading to exact measurements of the temperature being near impossible. Deriving from this immensely effective light flow just through windows, few to no other light sources will show ostensibly.
As previously mentioned, exact temperature measurements are unfeasible to obtain, leading to several samples withat different distances from windows having been taken. The most frigid sample was -121°C (-185,8°F), taken at a distance of about fifty miles from any window. The most blistering temperature was 92°C (197,6°F), taken right beside a window. Deriving the average of every sample returns a temperature of about 20°C (68°F), which is also widely accepted as the main temperature of Level 870.
Yet another peculiarity Level 870 possesses is its water. The water takes a slight violet tint, and feels a little more gooey than regular water, or water found in The Poolrooms. This consistency feels extremely discomforting, and many reported sudden goosebumps after coming into contact with the water. Another extreme thing about the water is its infestation with pathogens, carrying all kinds of different diseases. Some of the pools' grounds are overgrown with algae and malicious fungi, leaving obvious warnings to not go into the water. Many theories state that these pathogenic organisms are causing the violet tint and inconsistent structure of the water. Another weird property distinguishing the water of Level 870 from other kinds of water is the complete obsession one will feel after bathing in it for long enough or consuming it, though that feeling isn't an indicator for anything. Latter feature seems to cause hearing problems as well.
Lastly, there are moderate psychological effects caused by some unknown phenomenon of Level 870. Said effects may act out devastatingly, though mostly don't present lethal danger. Whilst some have tried describing them in words, most are way too out-of-the-ordinary to describe them, causing only a little information on these effects to be widely accessible. Some people reported the already-mentioned feeling of being obsessed, but others reported way more sinister effects, like suddenly collapsing, jumping into the water unwillingly, or brain damage.Level 870, while mostly sticking to repetitive patterns in terms of rooms, does contain a few classified room types. Most of the rooms follow one of these types' structure or description, though beware that these do not include every room on Level 870.

LESS COMMON | MOSTLY SAFE
Hallways are, as the name suggests, long tunnels featuring doorways on either side, and one at the start and the end of the hallway. Hallways present minimal danger, as they aren't containing any water unless they are close to a pool that could flood it. As such, it is recommended to start ones residency within a hallway.
Hallways have a sub-type of room, promptly dubbed 'Carpeted Hallways.' These hallways don't differ much from regular hallways, but a noticeable disparity is the wall-to-wall carpet as a floor, as opposed to the tiling a regular hallway would have. Under normal circumstances, they are habitable as well, but they are way nearer to dark rooms or rooms presenting danger overall, so it isn't recommended to stay in such rooms for too long.Jonathan Monroe Jr.
Any construct leading to an upper floor has been nicknamed 'Stairwell,' for convenience purposes. Such stairwells don't contain danger if they are bare-bones, but most are flooded, and the latter ones are considered hazards by many. Most stairwells are open to air entirely, some are enveloped by the ceiling, though.
UNCOMMON | STRICTLY UNSAFE
Darkened sites are rooms of any previously named sort, but dipped into darkness. While some aren't fully pitch black, all of them usually pose lethal danger. Said danger contemporates itself in inner pain, panic attacks, harsh hallucinations, and discontrol. Some people even reported encounters with hostile danger in such rooms, so entry isn't recommended overall.
RARE | UNSTABLE
As for the history of Level 870, after said report was filed, some research teams investigated further: R32 came back, confirming both the existence and sub-level property of it; R19 came back partially, unable to provide valuable information. In spring of 2015, research team R56 started a project, desperately trying to secure and habitabilize the environment. While the project failed, much-needed information was obtained through R56.
