Description

Level 90 appears to be a large outlet mall of unknown franchise or brand. Dirt, gravel, or concrete pathways connect the many parts of this level. The temperature is a consistent 65 degrees Fahrenheit (18 degrees Celsius), whether inside or not. A light fog, a lot like the fog on Level 1 covers this whole level, including inside buildings. This level appears in no state of disrepair, the only exception to this is if damage is manually done. Even then, the damage will repair itself when nobody is in the area.

Additionally, stores can be found lining the pathways, the size of which are inconsistent. However, explorers have documented 4 areas, three of which are building types. These areas are: The Outside, Small Stores, Departments, and Warehouses.

The Outside

The Outside is considered the main part of Level 90, as it is the place that most wanderers appear in (In a few rare cases, people have appeared in small stores or departments). It appears to be an endless expanse of dirt, gravel, or concrete pathways lined by any of the three store types. The grass that can be found very often is a lush, healthy green color, and it feels and smells like normal grass. Underneath this grass is a unbreakable rock like solid that turns into dirt when in contact with water, but turns back solid instantly when it runs out of water. As well, this area smells like mint for an unknown reason.

Stores

Stores are the most common type of building in Level 90, Most selling general items such as clothing, instruments, electronics, and books. All of these buildings have varying architecture. These stores are very disorienting and confusing, but it has never been found out why. Most stores play smooth jazz records from speakers. This music has not been identified as any music from our reality.

Occasionally, a store may look like a buffet, and in these buffets there is constantly restocking food. This food is always a 4-star quality. As well, backrooms delicacies (Super Almond Water, Chocolate Milk, Etc.) can be found in the buffets. Due to this, level 90 is a hotspot for traders, and a war has happened over the delicacies.

Departments

Departments are a recently discovered building type. They are large areas, bigger than small stores, but smaller than warehouses, with a low ceiling (10-15 feet above the floor). These stores are lit by flourescent lighting. They are most of the time empty, but rarely have shelves in a random position in the store. These shelves usually don't have items on them but sometimes have boxes that cannot be opened for an unknown reason. The walls are solid colored with no wallpaper, and the flooring is carpet, besides some wooden walkways leading around the store.

Warehouses

Warehouses are large, open spaces, made of concrete, brick, and metal. These buildings typically store furniture, electronics and sometimes even cars. Large industrial shelves can be found commonly, and typically have boxes of useful supplies for wanderers. This space also seems to be non-linear, as some people have walked for days before finding an exit. Some large groups even think these warehouses are a complete different level than Level 90.

The War of Level 90

The War of Level 90 is a ongoing conflict between the M.E.G. and B.N.T.G. over the rare items found in the buffets in Level 90. While this conflict has been resolved, plenty of attempts to break the contract by both teams have been made. When the rare items were discovered, it spread like wildfire. When the B.N.T.G found out about the valuable items in Level 90, they sent a bunch of people to gather as many of the objects as they can. Since the M.E.G originally discovered the items, they didn't want the B.N.T.G to take what they discovered. So they started guarding the buffets. So the B.N.T.G sent more of them with weapons. This sparked the war. After around 1 year of fighting, and around 5,000 lives lost in total, they created a contract. The contract entitled the M.E.G and B.N.T.G to 40% (Roughly 30 items per buffet), each. The remaining 20% (Roughly 15-20 items per buffet) was for the stray wanderers who didn't belong to either of the groups. The procedure to ensure this contract was followed is confidential as of now.

Colonies and Outposts

All of the previous outposts in Level 90 have either been abandoned or destroyed.
