Level 929 is the 930th level of the Backrooms.

Description

Appearance

Level 929 appears to be a motor-pool resembling that of the Western U.S. Military of the front-rooms. This level is seemingly outdoors being closed off by a normal chain link fence with concertina wire laced at the top of said fences. In the middle of the motor-pool is a 2-story building which works as a maintenance bay, storage area for the first floor. The second floor consist of offices with various military communication equipment that can be used to communicate across levels. On both floors there is a self replenishing supply of vending machine food, MRE Boxes and water from the water faucets. Outside within the limits of the fence the motor-pool is littered with various vehicles including Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFV), Armored Personnel Carriers (APC), various variants of the Humvee (HMMWV), various variants of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV), Main Battle Tanks (MBT), Wreckers alongside various vehicles suited to carry heavy vehicles.

Special Properties

The vehicles from time to time seemingly start every Monday from 09:15 (9:15 A.M.) to 16:30 (4:30 P.M.) and up to 14 may move their way into a bay during this time. A vehicle's lights will come on and it will honk prior to moving. Beware, they will not stop moving even if you are in their way. Your saving grace may be that they won't move over 10mph/16kmh yet being hit by any vehicle isn't fun, especially when it weighs up to 72 tons. This place has a 24 hour day and night cycle that runs smoothly like it would in the front-rooms. At night unlike the day phase the vehicles stop moving about and will move back to their original spots or stay in the bay if they were unable to move at the time. The outside spot-lights light up and the process of 'fixing' a vehicle inside the bay will however; Still continue.

Resources
  • Water can be found inside the 2-Story maintenance building on the 1st floor.
  • M.R.E. boxes can be found on top of and inside vehicles.
  • Vending machines with both drinks (including Almond Water) and food can be found inside the 2-Story maintenance building on the 1st floor.

Colonies and Outposts

The Boots Alpha Company

Boots loading up an IFV for maintenance.

The Boots are a group of individuals (approximately 107 Individuals) who enjoy (or maybe just can't run away from) their past life of being in an armed service in the Front-Rooms. These individuals are welcoming and helpful to all who seek assistance. The Boots use Level 929 as a homestead as they do everything here such as physical training (PT), layouts, plan missions to other levels for more surplus supplies alongside sleep. It's not uncommon to see a few of these guys work on the vehicles in the bays so they can move out. However earlier in January 24th of 2022 they lost one platoon bringing them down from a 150 members to 107. Since then they have warned people to stay away from the Concertina Wires on the fences. Odd.
