Level 944: "Eternal Birthday Party"
Level 944 is the 945th level of the Backrooms.
Survival Difficulty: Class 1
- Safe
- Secure
- Minimal Entity Count
Description:
Level 944 is described as a big complex of rooms with walls that share a paper-ish texture with bright colors, similar to those of a piñata. These walls' papers tend to vary their size depending on the room, but they are predominately about 2 meters tall and 1 meter wide, which gives the feeling of being inside a massive piñata. The floor is made of a carpet which color varies depending on the room you're in, and a roof with also a varying color and amount of lights (usually between 3 and 6 yellowish lights similar to those in Level 0, except the noise they emit is way quieter). The rooms are connected via small hallways (usually being around 2-3 meters long and about 2 meters wide, but the hallways are always fully white with rainbow stickers decorating them), and they can be either horizontal or diagonally placed to connect two rooms. The level behaves similar to Level 0, as its rooms are always different sizes and sometimes they're even different shapes, most predominantly being pentagonal or hexagonal shapes, but there's been reports of other variations, like triangles. There can also be found stairs sometimes connecting rooms from above and below.
The ambience of the level can be described as "cheerful, yet quite eerie", with the constant quiet buzzing of the lights on the roof mixed with the colorful vibe the colored paper walls give. Sometimes, there can be found rooms where the lights are partially off, which makes them quieter. There can also sometimes be heard sounds of distant laughter of children and the friendly chattering of adults, as if there was a party nearby. These give wanderers an unknown feeling of uneasiness most of the time.
In the rooms there can sometimes be found various types of furniture like a few plastic chairs of different colors surrounding a plastic rainbow table with colorful plates, plastic knifes and forks, bottles of almond water and party hats on them. It is necessary to avoid wearing these hats, as the wearer has a high chance of getting a severe headache if the hat is on its head. In the center of the table, there can sometimes be found cake or a piñata that, if broken, will release a vast amount of unknown candies in wraps, and these candies tend to either be chocolates or gummies, both of which never expire. The party hats and colorful plates can be used to trade with the entity that roams in the level.
Colonies and Outposts
There is currently only 1 documented colony found in this level.
"Candy Addicts Team (CAT)"
- Has a total of 15 members.
- Friendly and open for trade.
- Colony's only weapons are plastic forks and knifes that they found in the level.
- They mainly trade candy and almond water for medical supplies, and they'll give you more stuff if you hand them medicine that helps relief stomach and head illnesses, as they find these very valuable.
- They're easy to distinguish from average wanderers, as they tend to carry a hand-made flag sown to their shirt, mainly on their chest. The flag looks exactly like the rainbow flag, but it has the symbol of a kitty on the middle.
Entities
- The only entity found here so far is the Partygoers, but rarely. They're predominately found in rooms with 6 lights or more and tend to go in packs of between 4 and 7 at once, yet their behavior is docile and they're quite friendly, as documented in previous interactions with wanderers. The Partygoers will approach wanderers and hand them some of the candy that they've recollected throughout the level in exchange for a party hat or a colorful plate, both of which can be found in the colorful tables that randomly appear.
Entrances and Exits
Entrances
- Candy stores in Level 29 have a chance to have a back door behind the store counter that leads to this level.
- There's been multiple reports of candy stores in Level 11 which's bathroom doors sometimes would take you here.
- Inside one of the houses in Level 148 there's a small chance of the house having a baby room, but the room's door will transport you here instead.
Exits
- No-clipping through one of the big blue pieces of paper found on the walls that can take you to Level 7.
- If you no-clip through one of the big red pieces of paper there's a 50% chance you'll be transported to Level !, and the other 50% is to be transported to Level 41.1.
- While maintaining eye contact with a Partygoer for more than 30 seconds, there's a 0.8% chance you'll no-clip through the floor and be transported to Level Fun.
- If you see a staircase that goes up to a dark room, going up will take you to Level 19. If the staircase goes down to a dark room instead, it'll take you to inside a powerless house in Level 9, and once you try to go back up again the staircase will take you to the second floor of that house, meaning you'll always appear on the first floor.
