Level 95 appears to be a large, sprawling group of apartment complexes enclosed by a forest characterised by the faint brown tint of the lights emanating from various sources. The moon constantly hangs overhead, trapping the level in a constant state of night. From the forest the faint chirping of crickets can be heard, however there have been no documented entities; hence, investigations are currently underway to discover what makes this noise. A cool wind whips through the level, which has a cosy room temperature of roughly 20 degrees Celsius. Many of the apartment buildings are locked with no clear method of entry, however there is one which is open.
When wanderers enter Level 95, they will notice the chirps of the crickets immediately. It's faint, but can be heard constantly through the entire level. Beyond the forest is an invisible barrier behind which lies The Void, and within it wanderers are able to faintly see a swirling mass of gas, though what the gas is has not been discovered as of now. Additionally, the cricket chirps seem to entrance wanderers, compelling them to enter the forest "to go home", as many of the affected have been heard saying. This effect seems to affect wanderers who have experienced homesickness or a longing to return home more effectively.
If wanderers remain too long within Level 95, the effect of the cricket chirps will grow stronger, up to the point where it is unavoidable. When wanderers are under the influence of this effect, they will start making their way towards the forest. Based on numerous accounts by witnesses, they will seemingly bypass the invisible barrier and walk directly into the swirling fog, never to be seen again. It is advised to wear earplugs or any other sort of device which muffles the sound to ensure the highest possible survival rate. Lastly, although wanderers have been in this level at the same time, many wanderers have stated that they were completely alone, hence this level may have a sort of isolation effect on certain wanderers.
The Apartment is the only apartment out of the five present which is accessible. Within it an elevator is present, however it is nonfunctional. Due to this, wanderers are forced to use the stairs to continue upwards. Each floor contains the same layout of apartments with lamps hanging overhead, all radiating the same brown light; however, the light is more intense and emits quite a bit of heat, causing the apartment to heat up to roughly 30 degrees Celsius (or 86 degrees Fahrenheit).
Each apartment contains a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. The refrigerator located within the kitchens seems to have a constant supply of Almond Water, which restocks every time a wanderer closes the door of the fridge. The bed itself is extremely soft, and compels wanderers to stay in the level for an extended period of time, causing them to be more susceptible to the effects of the cricket chirps. Hence, it is not advised to come into contact with the beds.
On the roof of the building is a pool which is filled with water which never evaporates. Further testing of the water has discovered it to be Almond Water, and wanderers can use this source to refill their bottles. The water never seems to run out and is a reliable source to collect Almond Water. Please do not swim in this pool, as it may cause contamination and dirty the water. Lastly, windows within the apartment always overlook the forest, even if the orientation of the building does not allow for this. Simply looking at the forest from the apartment is enough to increase the effect and desire to walk into it, so it is unadvised to peer out any windows within the apartment.
The Forest is the most unexplored portion of this level, due to the dangers which entail. What is know so far is that the forest circles around all the apartment complexes, forming a thick ring. Beyond this, the void along with hazy mist are separated from the forest by an invisible barrier, which is inaccessible to anyone other than those under the influence of the cricket chirps. There appears to be a path within the forest, however it is known to shift locations at random intervals. As wanderers ventures deeper into the forest, the sound of the crickets grows louder, eventually drowning out most other sounds.
As wanderers continue venturing into the woods, they feel a desire to go straight ahead, running towards the barrier and into the void where they are then consumed by the fog. Many of the affected wanderers will often claim that they hear a voice and start reciting a strange poem of unknown origin which has been included. The only known way of reverting the effects of the chirps is to knock the affected wanderer unconscious and safely carry them out of the level, at which point they would be fine after they awaken, and they claim to have no recollection on the level as a whole.
Due to the effect Level 95 has on wanderers, bases are unable to be established.
- Falling from the roof of any building in Level 11 has a high chance of bringing wanderers here as they carry enough momentum to enter, though it is unadvised to do so.
- No-clipping into the floor will send wanderers to Level 0.
- Sleeping inside of the apartment will send wanderers to Level 204.
- Walking deep into the forest may have a chance to bring wanderers to Level 994.
- Noclipping through a kitchen-like area inside one of the apartments will lead one to Level 96. This is the safest and most recommended exit.
- As stated previously, being under the influence of the chirps and walking into The Void would most likely bring one out of the level, but wanderers should never do so.
