Description
Level 993 is the 994th Level of the Backrooms. The level is an infinite diagnosis building with no windows or exit doors. The area most Travelers start out in is a purple-carpet waiting room. The room is approximately 10 metres on all walls, with a vanilla-coloured pillar in the middle of the room. Some chairs and tables line the walls, occasionally having newspapers from 1992. Sometimes there will be the iconic bead toy in the rooms, it has been reported to calm down a Traveler when they hold it, and even make them want to stay for a while. In some rooms, there will be a room carved in the wall and a beaten mannequin behind the counter, beside the counter there is a painting of a door. Most of the time, this will be a normal drawing. Very rarely, the door drawing will be a drawing of an open door. You can noclip through these and it’s reported it leads to Level 994. Sometimes, the inside doors, will lead to hallways with medical rooms lining the walls. Sometimes these rooms will contain syringes. These contain an unknown substance, and makes you teleport to Level 975. Sometimes there are darkened hallways, and these contain deceiving smiler pictures. These are fake, and are just paintings.
Discovery
The level was discovered in circa 2009 when 2 men found a syringe on Level 11 and picked it up. They reported to have passed out and ended up in, and I quote, “Some purple-carpet waiting room.”
Entities
There are no reported entities on this level yet, but an anonymous user reported: “I was in this massive hospital-like place and saw this red figure in my peripheral vision running past into this dark corridor. I need some help here.”

The only reported way to enter this level is to find a syringe on Level 11.
Exits
You can exit by either injecting yourself with the abnormally cold syringe fluid to end up on Level 975, or you can find an open door painting and noclip through it to end up on Level 520.
