A view of the Apple Lab

Entities in this level are the monkes, they appear to be a Roblox avatar. they can vary in color and have different types, each with its own ability.

Entities

Entities in this level are, the monke. They have different abilities, depending on the color, there are also different "Types" of monke, as noted in page reports found in the level, Monke types "Y" and "E".

Monke Type E

Monke type E Appears as a Roblox avatar, there are 8 known colors, each with their ability.

Brown Monke

The brown monke appears as, well a brown monke. They are passive unless attacked, they appear to like being in groups, but have been found alone, when attacked, the entity will fight back, there attacks aren't very strong compared to some of the other monkes, but be warned as the brown monke, when in groups their attacks will become much stronger and be more effective, so be ready if you're fighting a horde of brown monkes. The best way to take them down is using ranged weapons for powerful items such as an axe.

Green Monke

The Green monke, upon contact with wanderers or any entity that isn't a monke, will get very aggressive and has shown to have lots of strength, Reports have shown that it can bust down a door with little to no effort, however, they can be made friendly by using a banana and giving it to them, this will make them trust you, but, if you attack them or betray them, they will not trust you at all, and will be aggressive and attempt to attack you, these monkes arent the brightest, so they can be outsmarted, but due to its aggression, it is fairly hard to do.

Yellow Monke

The Yellow Monke, it is very friendly to wanderers, it is also shown to be much weaker, its attacks don't do much to wanderers and are scared of entities that get into the level, however. they regenerate much faster compared to other entities; A found research report from an unknown person documents an experiment on a yellow Monke.

"The Subject, during a test, had its leg cut off, and was giving many cuts, with in 10 minutes, all cuts were gone, and its leg was halfway to regenerating complete."

The entity is also vegan, from a report found on another paper documented,

"Subject refuses to eat anything relating to meat, and will only eat fruits and vegetables, so when hungry, supply fruits and veggies for the entity."

Pink Monke

The Pink Monke, it is curious of wanderers, and is often seen spying on them, trying to get more info on them. The entity appears to be extremely smart, though its attacks are much weaker, it wins its battles by outsmarting its opponent, quickly identifying flaws and weak points of its enemies.

it will often, be seen in a group, with other monkeys, it is aware of its weaknesses and tries to get in a group, it will also sometimes be armed, with a gun, crowbar, or bat. It is best not to engage in combat, as they will quickly fend off, and outsmart you.

Purple Monke

The purple Monkes attacks are not too strong, but upon attacking wanderers, they can inflict poison, this poison can only be gettin rid of by using the deacon showers scattered across the level or by drinking poison antidotes, also scattered across the level. This is the only known way to get rid of the poison.

Blue Monke

The Blue Monke is fairly weak in attacks, but its main capability is that it can send a powerful shock to swiftly take out radios, cameras, and somehow stop guns and other items from working permanently. Within the basements of the level, you can find a blue puddle, touching it will turn you into a blue Monke. It is best not using any guns or something that uses electricity, if you are using anything that can be used to communicate, like a radio, the blue Monke can shut it down completely.

Red Monke

The Red Monkes attacks aren't Very strong. But if injured, its attacks help it regenerate, it is unknown how, but it can do that. It isn't very durable, so it won't be able to shield the other Monkes, more on that later.

Orange Monke

The Orange Monke can be very dangerous, as it can light things on fire, it can only light wanderers and entities, as the level seems inflammable.

When fighting an orange Monke, it is best to bring something to shield you from the fire, it can also use its hands as drills, they get lit up with fire and the fire gets more and more deadly the longer it locks you in place.

Monke Type Y

A Picture of Monke type Y

Monke Type Y has no variants, unlike Monke Type E. They are friendly to wanderers, and offer food to them. Attempting to hurt them is a bad idea, the Monke will fight back, using weapons if nearby. They also can be seen with other types of Monkes, like Monke type E, they seem to be in peace, not being bothered at all by differences, The entity will share food with another Monke of any type and will try to communicate with them.

Entity behaviors

The Monkeys often are friendly to wanderers (Aside from green Monkes of course) and will try to communicate with them, there are no other entities in the level other than the Monke, this is theorized to be due to the Monkes banning together to take down any hostile or just any entity, as a wanderer reported

"I remember, being at a bridge like area, running from this horrid beast, I don't remember what. But the second I make it to the the other side, I come across a few Monkeys, after seeing the entity they charge forward towards the entity some Monkes grabbing Bats n Crowbars and other items, some charging with their fists, they quickly swarmed the entity, bashing it, punching and tearing limbs apart, it was seconds before the entity was knocked off the bridge, I remember seeing the Monkeys cheer in victory."

Within a part of the basement lies a bunker, with only 1 door operating, the other being blown of completely. It appears the Monkeys gather here for Meetings, about wanderers, about food, or about a Monke stealing Bananas, it can be anything, they may even have court cases. Around certain parts of the level, some Monkes start up small shops, selling food, almond water, and supplies. Monkes may have fights over who claimed a spot first. Monkeys will almost always use apples for bananas as form of cash. Also, when an injured Monke is found by other Monke, they Surround them, giving fruits and other food, if there is a danger nearby, Some Monkeys within the group will attempt to shield for the injured monke, attempting to absorb hits for the injured Monk

Supplies and vents

There is plenty of supplies in this level, such as weapons, toolboxes, and bandages, there is also a shotgun within the bunker armory, however, it has odd properties, after using all its ammo, the wanderer who picked it up cannot get another one, or refill it with ammo, the shotgun can be brought to other levels and can dispose of many entities fast, it is much stronger than a normal shotgun. The supplies on this level, when taken, will automatically restock, so taking a bat from one of the rooms, coming back to it later, the bat will reappear in the in the same spot, this applies to food as well, the food in this level never goes bad, but you aren't able to eat the food, due to only food in the level, the apple and the banana, being contaminated, eating the apple will turn you into a red Monke, Bananas turn you into yellow Monke, although this danger, the Monkes can eat said fruit just fine, the only edible thing is the coffee, which does not ever go bad, and reappears in the same location if taken after sometime. There is also a police baton and riot shield, this can be used to defend yourself from the alpha monke which is farther down the page.

Vents

Vents are located all over the level, with Monkeys using them to fast travel, M.E.G has tried opening the vents to no avail, with only monkeys being able to open them, Monkeys will use the vents to fast travel around the level, it also acts as a safe place, Yellow Monkeys, when attacked, will head to the nearest vent, as not even entities of any kind can open them, they also heal an injured Monke faster, it is unknown why.

Computers

within the offices in the bunker, there are some functioning computers, it appears they were used to record data and logs, as viewing older records reveal info about the level, including items, research, and how to deal with poison. There is also a massive library of information on the backrooms containing [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] and even how to Noclip. Wanderers using these computers have figured out how to add themselves to the data base and write logs on it. Outpost Ruby has an account set up with logs about how to survive on the level. Though the computers often are occupied by monkeys, so you may have to wait before using the computer

Banana Lab

The Banana Lab is a small room containing green goo, touching the goo will turn you into a green Monke, Where the goo is located sits a banana on the wall, this banana has strange properties, it can magically heal a Monke in seconds, Monkeys will often use it to heal wounds and injuries.

Level Defenses

The Level defends itself in many ways, it has many systems that operate the Lab, the level will defend itself by sabotaging lights to lower vision or sabotage the chemical discharge to pour chemicals into random rooms, if you are exposed to the chemicals for too long, you will turn into a Monke, the level will sabotage systems to stop hostile entities or researchers.

Outposts and colonies

The level doesn't have many outposts, due to its dangers, that being green Monkeys. And the levels defenses

Outpost Ruby

Outpost Ruby is located within the med bay, it holds 8 People, all with experience on the level, they can give you supplies, such as bandages. They are open to trading and is one of the ways they stock up on supplies.

Monks' diner

A diner located at the cafeteria, a team of 12 Monkes, working at this diner, they are very friendly, and will offer food, the first meal is free, any other meal after that point will cost apples or bananas. They often have fights with The Monk apartment complex over who owns the cafeteria.

The Monk apartment complex

A spot located at the cafeteria, walking up to the counter, there will be a Monke, this Monke will ask you if you want a room. Upon saying yes, you will be asked to follow a Monke to a location, once you make it too the location the Monke will explain that this is your room, you will be given a contract, the contract lists the following

  • Being swarmed by Monkes
  • Getting a bad room
  • Getting your room stolen
  • Getting attacked randomly
  • Having to pay a weekly fee

By signing the contract, you agree to these things that may occur. They are often fighting over who owns the cafeteria with Monk's diner.

Level Discovery

A group of wanderers found a puddle in one of the levels, upon touching it, they noclipped into the level.

Entrances and exits

To enter, find a random brown puddle anywhere within the backrooms, touching it will noclip you into the level. To leave the level you have to noclip through the walls, bringing you to a random level.

Found reports

Found Page report on Brown Monke

When alone subject is usually calm but when placed with other similar or different entities,

subject becomes too dangerous and aggressive to be researched on. Observed that some subjects jump of railings from high heights, reason is unknown. Researchers are not to touch any unknown, suspicious puddles too.

Found Orange Monke Report.webp

This subject is very aggressive to researchers and is able apply to chemical burns on contact. Douse under water to wash off any infectious materials.

Results of attempting to incinerate bodies of other entities has led to this walking bio disaster. Noted subject is unable to resist water too.

Green Monke Report.webp

Upon contact with infectious fluids of a banana, subject is extremely hostile and capable of delivering the most bodily harm toward researchers.

Despite being so destructive the entity shows no interest at all in system operations. Origin of the banana and who supplied that tape is unknown.

The Alpha Monke

The Alpha Monke is a giant monke, a type E Monke, no type Y alphas have been spotted.

The Shotgun or other ranged weapons don't have much effect on the entity. The Entity is very powerful and summon a giant rock that it can throw at high speeds dealing massive amounts of harm to wanderers, massive groups of wanderers is recommended, if you do plan to kill an alpha, but it can be very dangerous due to its strength and durability, and its powerful rock toss. Any entities, when seeing an alpha, appear scared and back off, this can be due to its power and strength. A report of the alpha has been found, it also appears that the Monkeys are not scared of the alpha, infact, following it around and acting as minions for it.

Alpha Monke Paper.webp

"Occur when an entity reacts to an alpha sample (mostly from air).

Be vary as this mutated subject is able to hurl at high speed to cause immense bodily harm. Be careful as a group of entities along with this subject could bring down or infect the whole lab. An alpha subject can manifest in any other entities enhancing their original behavior.
