Welcome, Gary!
Level Hell is an extremely dangerous level of the Backrooms.

Description
A photographer’s image of Level Hell taken moments before they died.
Level Hell resembles a seemingly infinite red house. Some rooms appear to contain doors that if opened, have a 50% chance of brutally and painfully killing you. Level Hell is infested with countless entities. Wanderers often experience hallucinations that can induce one into suicide. Noclipping has been reported not to work in this level. Any person who tries to noclip is theorized to be sent to The Void. There are three main layers inside Level Hell, some of them less accessible than others. The lights in Level Hell have been reported to randomly go off from time to time, which can rapidly decrease a wanderer's sanity, making this level even more dangerous. It is strongly recommended to bring flashlights and to be careful with your surroundings. Sanity levels are reported to drop extremely fast in here. Fortunately, Almond Water can be very easily found in this level, even at spawn.
Layers
Layer 1
Layer 1 mainly consists of a basement. There are no lights in this level, making flashlights the only light source one can see in this layer. Old Almond Water can be found here. Smilers are very common in Layer 1. They have been reported to be even more hostile than normally. If any of them sees you, even if you are not shining any kind of light towards them, they will attempt to kill you in the most brutal way possible.
Layer 2
Layer 2 resembles an attic. It is very claustrophobic. Differently from Layer 1, Layer 2 contains light sources. Insanities and Smilers are commonly found here. As aforementioned, these entities are more hostile than normal. Information about this layer is scarce.
Layer 3
Layer 3 is located outside the house. It is extremely hard to reach this layer. The outside is blocked off by a single titanium-plated door. Tools such as sledge hammers are required in order to break into Layer 3. The only entities present in Layer 3 are Hounds, which surprisingly enough, considering the entities' behaviors in the previous layers, seem normal.
Colonies and Outposts
Due to the nature of this level, colonies and outposts are unable to be established.
Entities
Hounds, Smilers, Insanities, Skin-Stealers, and Demons are the most common entities in Level Hell. Insanities and smilers, for unexplained reasons, act more hostile than normal while in this level. Skin-Stealers are the rarest entity among the previously mentioned ones. Demons, although maybe not the most common, are still the main entities in this level. They are, as expected, extremely aggressive. Other entities have also been spotted in later parts of this level.
Archived Log: Log 752
The following audio log was recorded by a M.E.G. researcher who accidentally ended up in Level Hell. This file was retrieved months after this incident, which marked the discovery of the level. The exact date this log was created is currently unknown, but it is estimated to have happened in late 2021, weeks after a M.E.G. researcher went missing during a routine field trip to Level 9.

<Fast-paced footsteps can be heard>
Unidentified M.E.G. Researcher: Holy shit! I am currently running away from this thing with fucking horns on top of it’s head. How the hell did I even end up in here?
<Footsteps can no longer be heard, however, heavy breathing is still recorded>
Unidentified M.E.G. Researcher: Ok, phew! I am hiding in this attic looking thing. I can't seem to find an exit! I only volunteered to go to Level 9 because I missed the real world! I wanted to be around other people not weird-ass fucking monsters!

Entrances and Exits
Entrances
- Entering one of the houses on Level 9 has a 0.6% chance of sending you here.
- Getting caught by The Beast in Game Over will have you dragged into this level.
- Noclipping into anything in Level -33.2 will lead you here.
Exits
- The only confirmed way to exit Level Hell is by breaking through the front door and walking away from the house through Layer 3, this will lead one back to Level 9.
