General Description[]
Limbful Gluesticks have been known and seen constructing village-like communities with various different areas with different functions, such as trade centers, residential dwellings, and hospitals. A majority of Limbful Gluesticks seem to be assigned short- or long-term tasks, jobs, and roles, such as medics and traders; the most common jobs are wanderers, hunters, and warriors. The Limbful Gluesticks will dig holes in the ground and hide in their dwellings when an entity that they know is stronger than them arrives. They have care centers for younger instances of the entity. A community of Limbful Gluesticks may contain rules and laws, which, if an instance does not follow, they may be executed or expelled from the community. These communities likely have a rare queen, Limbful Gluestick, who decides essentially everything in the community.
Behavior[]
Limbful Gluesticks are social creatures that share and provide for other instances. Although Limbful Gluesticks will behave extremely aggressively and territorially toward other entities and humans, they will often jump other organisms to obtain their meat and any object they hold. Limbful Gluesticks will bring objects they steal to their dwellings, and some broken materials will be used to repair, expand, and build their dwellings. These entities regularly construct village-like communities, with each Limbful Gluestick being assigned a task directly by the Limbful Gluestick queen. Limbful Gluesticks are known for organizing small events between each other in the areas they inhabit. The most common events organized by the entities are trade centers, feasts, large hunts, and races. Limbful Gluesticks appear to have a routine; it is believed it begins with the entity hunting and wandering, washing itself, and going to a nearby community to sleep at. Limbful Gluesticks are known for being exceedingly territorial, seemingly claiming all territories they pass through as theirs, which causes them to quickly attack any entities.
Limbful Gluesticks have developed five principal methods to assault any threat or organism they encounter. The first is suddenly coming out of a hole and jumping the victim. A Limbful Gluestick may hide or crawl on the victim's back and inject Limbdaevan acid. They can organize an attack with multiple instances; this will only occur if the organism stays near these communities for a prolonged period of time. They will likely set simple yet effective traps using the materials at the level they are at. The final and least known of the main five methods used by Limbful Gluesticks is glueing itself into the victim's body and attacking it severely. There are thousands of other, less-known techniques that are used by Limbful Gluesticks to hunt and eliminate threats to their habitats.
Biology and Anatomy[]
Limbful Gluesticks appear as gluesticks sizing between 20 and 60 milimeters; their colors and packaging vary greatly; however, the general consensus of a Limbful Gluestick's packaging contains a yellow lid and lower part, black, yellow, and white respectively on the center, resembling the imperial Russian flag, and an italic red text reading "GLUE." The lid of a Limbful Gluestick functions as a helmet for the entity's fragile glue head, which is easily damaged. Limbful Gluesticks contain four long and thin tape limbs; the tape in question appears to be Scotch tape. The limbs of a Limbful Gluestick commonly become dirty from small particles and dust becoming stuck to them; this may give the Limbful Gluestick infections and, possibly, death, as Limbful Gluesticks have generally poor hygiene. Limbful Gluesticks seem to lack facial features; however, they can smell, feel touch, and hear, although they are blind. Instead, they can detect heat and certain substances and somehow feel light. A Limbful Gluestick's limbs seem to grow similarly to human hair or nails; unlike the two, the limbs fall off when injured or too old. Limbful Gluesticks do not seem to differ based on gender, and it is believed that all instances of the entity contain male and female functions and that only one specimen is required for reproduction. Younger instances of Limbful Gluesticks seem to normally contain a red lid and lower part and red, green, and white patterns on their center. Younger Limbful Gluesticks also seem to have no limbs until reaching 10 years old.
Limbful Gluesticks seem to possess an ability to deform and adjust the stickiness of their limbs; this causes them to be able to gain fingers and oddly-shaped legs, for example. However, it seems that after far too many times a Limbful Gluestick distorts its limbs, the limbs become unable to be distorted permanently, and the Limbful Gluestick will only be able to distort it after it falls and new ones grow. Rarely, the Limbful Gluestick may be completely unable to move its limbs at all; this happens more commonly when the entity does it non-stop. It is believed that Limbful Gluesticks are able to cut certain pieces of their limbs and connect the remaining parts together. Limbful Gluesticks seem to only do this if the area in question is infected or contains other health issues. This practice is thought to be most frequently executed by more than one instance of the entity.
Limbful Gluesticks can liberate an acid named "Limbdaevan Acid," which mentally deteriorates the wanderer if it enters their body. This acid appears as a red, blood-like substance with addictive properties that cause the wanderer to desire to drink more of it; the more one drinks, the quicker the effect occurs. The most common effects of Limbdaevan acid are hallucinations, hearing strange sounds, repulsive behavior, paranoia, possible cannibalistic ideas, curiosity, extreme fear, anxiety attacks, and many other mental misfortunes. An extreme dose or long-term effects of Limbdaevan acid will cause full psychosis and major schizophrenia. A person infected with Limbdaevan acid, after entering a state of psychosis, may attempt to inject Limbdaevan acid into other organisms nearby by drawing a Limbful Gluestick's attention to it or taking some of its own body.
Limbful Gluesticks appear to contain a total of six essential organs on its body: the brain, the heart, the nonaplastic, the feelone, the Limbdaevan glandules, and the oxygen-takers. The nonaplastic is a plastic skin-like organ that replaces the majority of organs. It detects smell and sound through minuscule holes in the nonaplastic. The feelone is the organ responsible for sending information near or on the entity's nonaplastic, such as smell, heat, and sound, to the brain. The Limbdaevan glandules are two glandules located on both arms of the Limbful Gluesticks. They house and produce Limbdaevan acid, and they are also believed to be responsible for emitting Limbdaevan acid from the arms. The oxygen-takers are small organs under the nonaplastic that filter the oxygen and transport it to other regions of the Limbful Gluestick's body. A Limbful Gluestick's life span is approximately forty to fifty years.
Possible Discoveries[]
It is thought that Limbful Gluesticks were most likely discovered on Level 898 on June 17th, 2000, in a more remote area of Level 898. A group of three wanderers were searching for an exit when they seemingly encountered a community of Limbful Gluesticks. They were presumably attacked, and they quickly left the area. After leaving the level, they reported this to several groups. A few of these groups decided to explore Level 898 and similar levels until eventually encountering and cataloging the entity as Entity 201. Limbful Gluesticks may also have been first sighted on Level 18, weeks after the level's discovery, during an exploration of one of the largest groups on the Backrooms, such as the Auto Nexus, M.E.G., and/or the Backroom Colonists.
