Kill Streak Kim

Le père tordu (Translation: The Twisted Father)

Why did I select these entities as my pets? You, Gary, ask strange questions... I like strange questions! Anyway!! I also call them my proxies. They are as obedient as dogs, as loyal as wolves, and as ferocious as tigers but as cruel, calculating, and deprived as... humans.

You are aware explorers come from Level 11 to watch their kind die... right?!

But! You did not ask me all of that, but you know now!

Anyway!!

I do not call Javaraya, Kritanta, Dearil, Tuwile and Amara pets or proxies. They are different! They are special! I love them! Tuwile hates everyone but confessed to me that I am the first being he actually likes somewhat... He also could be lying! He is complicated and misunderstood! They all are! They are like sons to me! They called me father in return... I would kill for them! I would kill you for them...! I would kill everyone for them...!

Description

The Malveillants (Translation: Malicious ones) are entities formerly and currently native to Level 702. They are intelligent, and can effectively communicate with humans speaking fluent English and French. Their presence in a level can be distinguished by tangerine font. (Note: Natives use this speech patterning outside of Level 702 so be wary.) Unlike docile members of their tribe, these beasts display malicious, sadistic, demented, and psychopathic tendencies, as well as conflicting emotional and behavioral responses. They are excellent in lulling humans into a false sense of security, as they are charming and confident. They also can mimic behaviors of empathy, sympathy, compassion, cooperation, and patience. It also does not help that some wanderers have heard of the Natives and do not realize a percentage of them can be wicked.

An encounter with a Malveillant, even in Level 702, is rare, as they make up 1.3% of the Native population of over 250,000 entities. Most of these creatures require an open world or a living space that accommodates their size to attack wanderers. Less than 2% of these beasts can create levels to interact with or attack other humans and entities. These beasts have the tendency to make levels too small for them to enter themselves. These spaces were designed to function as the obstacles in these circumstances, and the creature is only there to observe or interact with any intelligent beings present as a disembodied voice. 2.5% of these entities can bend reality or alter themselves to gain access to levels usually inaccessible to other members of their kind. 5% of these beasts can create tears in reality or exploit Windows of other levels to see, interact or attack other beings. Keep in mind that Natives from Level 702 have these abilities, so be wary.

  • Note: These beasts do not vandalize levels. They prefer to create spaces suitable for human and entity entry. It is worth mentioning that these beasts must be summoned by the creator of a level or contribute at least 20% of that level's creation to alter the level created by another being.

In any case, there are four types: Dormeurs éthérés, L'abandonné dement, Animaux domestiques, and Chercheur d'expiation.

Dormeurs éthérés[]

If you encounter a Malveillant in Level 702 known as Dormeurs éthérés (Translation: Ethereal Sleepers) you would be none the wiser as they try to avoid detection by mimicking the pleasant demeanors of other tribe members. Some Malveillants have moments where they drop the façade but it is often not obvious that they have. Wanderers should stay clear of any Natives who put them in danger or try to alienate them from the group. These behaviors are clear red flags as Natives tend to be protective of wanderers and are very social creatures. Wanderers should alert others if Natives and other wanderers disappear around these peculiar Natives. Other tribe members are hellbent on finding them and removing them from the collective by ritual sacrifice to The Void.

L'abandonné dement and Animaux domestiques[]

Malveillants can escape eternal domination in The Void by sacrificing themselves to it. It is unknown how self-sacrifice to The Void aids the Malveillant in bypassing this punishment. Native Mystics and Reapers explains that you must slit the throat to bind the Malveillant to The Void. It is not clear how slitting the throat of a Malveillant binds them to The Void. What is known is that the Malveillants are stabbing themselves elsewhere to stay unbonded to The Void. In any case, they are sought out and hunted down to prevent them from doing this. When they escape punishment, they either become L'abandonné dement (Translation: The Forsaken Demented) or Animaux domestique (Translation: Pet).

L'abandonné dement are Malveillants that dwell in Level 206. They have gone completely insane and are often found alone talking to themselves or the voices in their heads. They take pleasure in self-mutilation. They will attack and kill other Malveillants. They will hunt and kill any wanderers that stole from the Reaping Willows or Animaux domestiques. Some will purposely consume boiled Cashew Water to induce a mentally deteriorating condition cited in Level 702 called La folie des noix de cajou (Translation: Cashew Madness). Why this is done cannot be confirmed.

Animaux domestiques are Malveillants that are best described as charming, pampered sociopaths. They can be distinguished from other Malveillants as they sport scarlet and spiked collars with bells on them. They dwell in Level 406 and another undisclosed location. Level -511 is cited here because they bring victims to this level. These beasts were recruited from Level 206 by the game show host of Escape Rooms: Forget Me not! Kill Streak Kim to serve as proxies. Kim adores them. While they are obedient, they are not mindless beasts just taking orders. They are just as sick and twisted as Kim and, in some cases, worse. Kim is aware that these creatures could turn on them at any moment, but that makes taming them even more fun. Kim likes the rush of handling, taming, playing with, and owning something that can kill them. It is unknown how many Animaux domestiques are there. There are reports that 37 patrol Level 206 looking for victims, feeding on the "trees", and seeking recruits. Out of that 37, five of them are kept in Level 406.

Chercheur d'expiation[]

Chercheur d'expiation (Translation: Atonement Seeker), as the rough translation suggest, are Malveillants seeking redemption for their past sins and transgressions. (The Sisters of (No) Mercy found in Level -911 is an excellent example of this variant.) This variant is rare and predominately female. This variant is best described as well-meaning yet 'charming, pretty little liars'. This variant is often more mischievous than murderous. They rather play head games and create obstacles for their victims than outright kill them. However, some will kill out of spite, curiosity, or due to sadistic impulsivity. The Chercheur d'expiation will originally try to survive in Level 206 due to their madness or serve under Kim. Some will abandon Level 206 or Kim due to boredom. Most will escape avoiding ill-treatment, domination, abuse, torture, or death as this variant is not often taken seriously. These Malveillants will seek out upstanding humans or intelligent non-hostile entities in the hope they can be taught how to behave and achieve atonement. Few will turn them away for reasons unknown. Most will say they are excellent bodyguards and friendly when they are of sound mind, their heart is in the right place. They want to change for the better, but they all struggle against their twisted nature. Most can demonstrate some level of self-control if heavily monitored and provided affection, patience, guidance, positive reinforcement, and negative punishment.

Biology

The Malveillant is described as a winged, humanoid, orc-like creature that is several times the size of your average adult male human (see the Native Growth and Size Chart for clarification). Some of the Animaux domestiques might be missing one or both wings. Kim will sometimes order the removal of their wing(s) to make it easier for them to be tamed or as a form of punishment. Some Malveillants will demonstrate their loyalty to Kim by removing one of their wings. Amara featured in Level 206 is one such Malveillant who did this. They actually can regenerate their wings but out of loyalty to Kim most will not or will replace their wings with other implements to better serve Kim.

General Behaviors

The Malveillants are manipulative, compulsive lairs. While they can be impulsive, they are patient enough to wait for the right moment to betray, take advantage of or kill their target. The Malveillant is not capable of remorse or empathy but can mimic those behaviors. The Animaux domestique is the most dangerous as they are charming, approachable, and well-spoken, resulting in wanderers letting their guard down.

Entity attack methods

Malveillants are predatory beasts and thrill killers. Review the tabs below.

Predatory Beast[]

Malveillants possess a keen sense of smell, taste, touch, vision, and hearing, and they experience synesthesia (when the five senses overlap).

Example: Kim's Malveillant had a chance encounter with the one they are calling Guerrier rouge (Translation: Red Warrior or The Crimson Wanderer). During this encounter, Dearil sniffed and commented that the Crimson Wanderer 'possesses a strong, ominous scent'. Strength and ominous character are usually perceived via seeing and hearing those attributes displayed by that person or entity. The senses of the Malveillant overlap so they can detect personalities using taste, touch, and smell.

The Crimson Wanderer should be cautious of the Malveillant, especially of the ones in league with Kim, as their motives are never clear (and they are disturbed). The Malveillant does not attack explorers or entities immediately. The Malveillant will assess explorers or other entities out of curiosity, and to determine if they are good to study, good sport or prey.

Thrill Killers[]

They take pleasure in inflicting as much pain and suffering onto their victims as possible. They like to toy with their prey mentally and emotionally to break them down before implementing a slow execution. They can attack either alone or in groups. Every Malveillant is different so their attack methods will vary. So below is a vague list of their attack methods...

  • Physical attacks such as stalking, ambush and dismemberment.
  • Psychological and emotional attacks such as compulsive lying, manipulation, deception, betrayal, gaslighting, deflection, humiliation, making threats, guilt-tripping, isolation, etc.
  • Cognitive and supernatural attacks such telekinesis, telepathy, hypnosis, remote viewing, teleportation, communication via disembodied voices, etc. (Less than 15% of these beasts have these abilities.)
  • Reality creation, bending and breaking. High-ranking Animaux domestiques and Chercheur d'expiation who have this ability usually descended from Native mystics/Shamen. High-ranking Animaux domestiques and Chercheur d'expiation exploit this ability... to what end? However, Native mystics/Shamen do not abuse this ability. Manipulation of reality comes at a cost if you know anything about alchemy, the laws of thermodynamics, and The Backrooms disregarding any peculiar rule for the sake of it. Example: Level Pain was resurrected by Kritanta. In Level Pain's wake, it gained sentience and murdered anyone who entered it before wanting to flood the entire The Backrooms with liquid pain for causing it so much suffering. This Level has become dormant and overseen by an entity called 'The Overseer'. This Level is holding a grudge and buying time until it can destroy The Backrooms. (Less than 10% of these beasts have these abilities.)

Methods of surviving the entity

Things to keep in mind:

  • The Malveillant is an uncommon entity of the negatives, with Cinder being the exception. Cinder can bypass this limitation by taking on a more humanoid form and creating realities with more liminal attributes. The others cannot take on a more humanoid form, nor can they physically manifest in the Positives. The Malveillants are surreal entities of chaos, and their presence amongst the Positives (which is more liminal) would destabilize those environments. They can bypass this limitation by presenting themselves as a disembodied voice. (This might explain why some explorers can hear whispering while exploring levels. There is an 80% chance the whispering is an auditory hallucination. A.k.a. You are going insane.) Most explorers cannot distinguish these voices from their own thoughts. Hearing the voice of a Malveillant does not cause fear or insane unless the Malveillant speaking to you is a mystic.
  • The Malveillants are not small creatures like the counter entity, facelings, hounds, etc. Of course, Cinder can bypass this size restriction, but what about the others? A few of these beasts can manipulate reality and force the environment and your perception of the environment to accommodate their size. They cannot alter Positive levels because of the reasons mentioned above, entropy. They can do this amongst the negatives, but only if they created the reality or contributed to 20% of that reality's creation. Distorting random 'spaces' they did not contribute to will increase entropy in The Backrooms. They must obey 'The law of equivalent exchange' meaning reality manipulation comes at a cost. Again, they have the option of presenting themselves as disembodied voices. Another option they have is exploiting windows or windows.

Close Encounter: Some explorers have encountered these beasts in the 'wild'. It is strongly recommended that you run away, hide and avoid them as conventional weapons cannot hurt them. The Malveillants in legend with Kim is the most unpredictable, unstable, dangerous, and demented. They always predate in groups, even if it is not obvious that the other member(s) are present. Kim is never too far behind them. Any one of them sparing you is not necessarily a good or bad sign. They do have their favorite explorers and entities. The reasons why cannot be confirmed. DO NOT use Cashew Water on these entities. It will not kill them... it will make them more volatile. Keep in mind that you cannot avoid them in Level 702 (see Malveillant Type 1 - Dormeurs éthérés). If they created or contributed to a reality's creation, there is nothing you can do but pray.

You Can Summon Them

While it is strongly advised to avoid them... you can summon them.

That's right...!!

If you call them, they will come... maybe.

Summoning them is not easy. Below are the steps to summoning a Malveillant.

Draw the beast's sigil on the ground or wall using your own blood[]

Each beast has their own mark. To call one, you first must draw their mark on a solid, flat surface using your own blood.

The usage of blood: Blood in magic represents sacrifice and vitality. You must use fresh blood and you must use your own blood, or they will not come. If you see blood droplets floating around your person while completing this step, stop immediately. One of them is watching you. You do not want to find out who. If you see or feel blood being pulled from your body, it is already too late.

Using the correct sigil: You will have to figure out and draw the creature's sigil correctly. Their sigils are usually convolved, complicated and complex. Their sigil does evolve and change over time for reasons unknown, so it is impossible to learn or memorize their sigil. Drawing their sigil incorrectly will result in blood sudden exploding from your body out of every orifice and death via exsanguination.

ANGEL-NUMBERS

Chant the beast's name[]

You need to know the creature's name. You must chant the beast's name a certain number of times. The number of times you must chant the beast's name is according to the first number of an Angel Number (1-9) that represents a positive characteristic that the beast still possesses. You must whisper their name when chanting...why is unknown. If you communicate via sign language... you will not have to worry about whispering. If you call your target the wrong number of times, random numbers will mercilessly be carved into your body by unknown means. If you win Kim's game, you could ask them for an Angel Number. Kim might be willing to share the Angel Number of one of their 'children'. You will still have to figure out which beast bears that number.

Make the beast an offering they cannot refuse[]

Malveillants are strange creatures. They are fascinated by humans as much as they enjoy causing harm to humans. They seem to like being offered things from The Frontrooms. You must give them something from The Frontrooms that they desire. M.E.G. Entities Investigator Fred L. Lovegood reported that you might be able to summon Tuwile if you present him a porcelain doll. Fred will not disclose how he determined this, but he confessed to losing his left eye to obtain that bit of information. Nevertheless, the Malveillant of interest will kill you if you do not present a gift. While making a subpar offer will often result in you being ignored, some will show up to kill you out of spite.

Listen for the whispers[]

You will 'hear' whispering telepathically if you called your target successfully. They will come as disembodied voices. There is a 30% chance the Malveillant will not respond to you for whatever reason. There is a 50% chance the Malveillant will kill you on sight. Calling a female Malveillant increases the likelihood of all of your stuff being stolen by 80%. It is not known why or how they take your things. If you have nothing, they might settle on taking you.

Why anyone would want to summon these creatures is anyone's guess. Below is a list of reasons why anyone would call upon them:

  • Mercenaries wanted. Most explorers who call these beasts are shady individuals and will request for them to kill someone on their behalf. Fair warning... it is not wise to ask them to murder someone in The Frontrooms. Asking them to kill someone they cannot access will result in them settling on killing you.
  • Fragile truce. Some explorers summon these beasts with the intent of befriending them as they are one of the few intelligent entities that can be reasoned with to some extent. Befriending a Malveillant does have its perks. They are less likely to have you play in their father's game and attack you. They will protect you from other Malveillants and entities if they are fond of you. Befriending a Malveillant does not guaranteed that they will not betray you at some point unless they start referring to you as Courageux petit ami (Translation: Brave Small Friend). If you succeed in befriending a Malveillant, betraying them is never a good idea. Most of these beasts are indifferent when befriending explorers. Some Malveillant can be possessive and obsessive, so you have been warned. They can get jealous and clingy. They might snap and kill you to ensure no one else can have you.
  • You need information. If you call them and they answer and you ask them a question, this is the only time they must respond to you truthfully. They cannot manipulate or deceive you even if they want too. If they do not know... that is the absolute truth. This also might explain why some will not come. This also explains why you need an angel number to summon them. That number binds them to reveal the truth if they know something. You can only ask them three questions, so choose your questions wisely. They will depart after your third question.
  • Help me create another reality. A few of these beasts can manipulate reality, and even fewer can create it. You must figure out and summon the correct beast to perform this task. Keep in mind that these creatures are entities of chaos. Every time they create or manipulate reality, they increase entropy in The Backrooms which further destabilizes it. These beasts also must obey the law of equivalent exchange when creating a new or manipulating reality on the behalf of another. Reality cannot be created from nothing. Reality manipulation displaces something else. Something must be destoryed for this new reality to exist and that something is you. Give your life in exchange for this reality. Reality manipulation requires the same thing but less. Give a percentage of your life force equal to the amount of work put into manipulating your reality. Example: If your summoned Malveillant puts in 20% effort to altering your reality, you must give that entity 20% of your life force. This exchange shortens your life span by 20%.

Rumor suggests that either The Storyteller had something to do with how Malveillant summoning works, but this cannot be confirmed. Neither entity is associated with The Behavioral Suite, and it is believed Kim was the one who divulged this information, and they are a known threat and an unreliable source. So... call these beasts if you wish... call these beasts if you dare.

Function and Theories

Eldritch Overlord Theory: The Glitched Goddess[]

The Glitched Goddess is an entity that makes her appearance in The Behavioral Suite. Those who subscribe to the Eldritch Overlord Theory will insist the following:

  • SHE created the Malveillant. She told the Malveillant that served under Kim that she created them by corrupting a few Natives from Level -777 eons ago. The Malveillant was a feral, aggressive, and a stronger variant of The Natives, and yet natural selection did not work in their favor. The Natives eventually began purging her creation from their gene pool. Why her influence is only limited to a select few is anyone's guess. She lamented that The Natives forsaken their purpose. The Malveillant have been forsaken by their people who refuse to answer her call. She insisted that she calls them all home, but only a worthy few will answer. She declared the ones who answered has been chosen and will serve their designed purpose. They are to bring more chaos to The Backrooms however they wish. Consume the weak, and the weak were the human invaders. She thinks little of humans and takes delight in causing them more pain and suffering. Why is not clear. While it cannot be confirmed if she created the Malveillant or corrupted them, they respect her authority as they refer to her as Dame Pépin (Translation: Glitched Lady).

  • She is one of The Producers. Kim does mention that it was The Glitched Goddess who came to them as Producer G and ordered them to bring more chaos to The Backrooms. Kim wanted these creatures [The Malveillant] to serve as their pets due to loneliness. (Do not let Kim tell you otherwise.) Kim's loneliness is unfortunate and convenient as this allowed The Glitched Goddess to convince them to acquire the Malveillant to serve as their proxies. She led Kim to Javaraya, Kritanta, Dearil, Tuwile and Amara. She convinced Kim to complete a 'circle' and assemble 'The Apparatus'. (It is possible that 'The apparatus' is Level -369 or The Backrooms.) 'Choas for chaos sake' she declared, and Kim obliged because their need for companionship was fulfilled. Kim's willingness to participate in her scheme fulfills her goals and/or The Producers.
With all this mind, what is not clear is which eldritch being is pulling the strings if this theory is true.

The Kauer Theory (complicated): Kill Streak Kim[]

The Kauer Theory suggests that The Backrooms exist because we want it to but for the sake of layered insanity, let us present the following:

  • Level 0 is the only reality. Everything else is just a hallucination.
  • The first 9 levels are the only realities. Everything else is just a hallucination. Here is where you run into trouble because anything beyond the first 9 is unconfirmed, and the rules pertaining to liminality begins to unravel.
  • Only the 'positive levels' are the only realities. Everything else is just a hallucination. Here is where you run into trouble because it is debatable if the negatives exist. Several people insist that negative levels exist in the minds of the mentally disturbed or a hallucination created by a dying mind. Several M.E.G. operatives insist they are of sound mind and body and have been to negatives. The deceased leave behind audio and video evidence pertaining to the negative levels. Some will argue that the negatives are a surreal manifestation of The Backrooms due to the increase of entropy and reality instability.
  • Everything here is real, but not the Malveillant. These creatures are a hallucination for Kim. Explorers and M.E.G. operatives insist Kim is a real 'individual'. The information concerning these creatures was mainly sourced from Entity 777.2, Kill Streak Kim. Kim have been detained a few times, and most have argued that they are a well-dressed, disturbed 'person'. (Can they bend reality...? Kim does disappear under mysterious circumstances after being questioned or when execution attempts are made.) Interviews with Kim suggest they are a by-product of prolonged isolation. Kim will talk to themselves when they are alone. Kim talks excessively in the presence of others. Kim's speech patterns consist of word salads, unprovoked rants, contradictions and conflicts, childish and obnoxious antidotes, terrorist threats, and depressing, lucid moments of clarity concerning their experiences. Several have debated that the Malveillant entity is in Kim's head and is a manifestation of their unhappiness, loneliness, mental deterioration, and lack of fulfillment.
  • The Maveillant does exist because Kim wants them to, and they made them possible. Kim is a reality bender. Kim created these creatures so they would not be alone anymore. Kim insists the some of Malveillants are their children. The evidence points to this as the Malveillant did not appear until the appearance of Level -404 (most people are not aware that this spatial anomaly is Kim's home), which brings us to the silly composite sketches of the Malveillant. A few explorers found these drawing while escaping Level -404. Several investigators believe Kim drew these creatures under the alias 'anonymous wanderer H.P.'. Kim got flustered and dismissive when questioned about these drawings. There is reason to believe that suspicions are correct, which means Kim has been to Level -777 and drew the Native 'Amygdala'. This might explain how Tribal Elders know of the Malveillant but cannot explain their origin.

Discovery

The Native Elders of Level 702 will tell wanderers that the Malveillant has always existed amongst their people. They do not know why. Wanderers who venture into the Ethereal Grounds of Level 702 are informed of their presence. The first report of a wanderer being killed by a Malveillant in the Ethereal Grounds of Level 702 happened on November 12, 20██. The first sightings of the Malveillants outside of Level 702 occurred on January 24, 20██. }}

Notable Malveillant

Callosum[]

Status: Executed while fleeing persecution.

Malveillant Type: Dormeurs éthérés (Type 1)

Font presentation: Unknown Tangerine

Abilities: Necromancy

Entity Case File: Callosum was the son of a renowned High Priest, Brandt, and respected Sorcières and Necromantrix, Belladonna. He was the eldest of three younger sisters. He would later marry a charming Baker named Histamimi, and they would later have a son named Amygdala. Callosum was a revered High Priest and Reaper within his community. He would heal the sick and injured. He would commune with the dead to give the grieving closure. In secret, he took delight in killing and dissecting explorers, especially children. He claimed that he wanted to understand what made a human child 'innocent'. He was discovered by his wife, Histamimi. He attempted to flee persecution but was killed by a Native Warrior named Vitocoz. Histamimi later died after accidentally consuming cashew water, going insane, and taking her own life. Rumors suggest this might have been intentional. They son, Amygdala, would be orphaned at the age of 3 but later adopted by a humanoid entity named Astrid.

Javaraya[]

Kill Streak Kim

Javaraya was my first proxy. He called me father for whatever reason. I do not know what possessed me to call him my son.

My right to bear seed has been denied. They took that from me...!

Who I am kidding...?

No human being in their right mind would want to have a child here. They did not let me have Javaraya to bond with him necessary, but I did. I am not human anymore, but I still have the need to connect and socialize... Having a child is a part of the human experience if you so desire... it is not for everyone... it should not be for everyone...

I am a terrible parent...

What do I like about him?

His sense of entitlement. His need to always be the best. His domineering personality. His need for validation.

Our relationship is both loving and toxic. Javaraya knows this. I elevate him and break him down at the same time. I praise him for excellent performance. His kills are quick, clean and flawless. All he has to do is snap his fingers. He always brings me the most interesting victims to play my game. I use to get them myself, but Javaraya insisted on doing this for me. He keeps the other four in line. He is my most obedient. Giggles sadistically. I did not have to do much to send him into a frenzy. I gave him siblings because his need for daddy's attention and affection was great. I love him very much, but he needs to learn how to share... and share he must. He almost fainted when I introduced him to Kritanta. He even tried to kill him. I promised Javaraya I would bind him to The Void if he kills his brother. I told him you will grow to love Kritanta or die. The look on his face was priceless but he wants to please me so he yielded. He had no choice and I wanted another. He was more adjusted when I introduced him to the other 3. I can tell he still craves my affection resulting in some mild competition between him and his four brothers. The good news is that the other four are not as attention seeking as he is. I just coddle them as if they do to upset Javaraya.

Status: Alive

Malveillant Type: Animaux domestiques (Type 3)

Font presentation: Smoke Gray, Tangerine

Abilities: Métier de l'âme (Translation: Soul Craft) including teleportation, telekinesis, remote viewing, 'The Black Mirror', reality creation, manipulation and erasing, possession and soul removal.

Levels created or contributed to:

  • Level -369 (Confirmed by Kill Streak Kim)
  • Level -439 (Confirmed by Dr. Astrid F. Nightingale)

Entity Case File: Javaraya was son to a respected Native Warrior and Blacksmith named Hëllsing and an adored Priestess named Cafell. He was an only child. He is best described by his people as an ugly, entitled, arrogant and short-tempered brute. (The provided composite sketch suggest not much has changed.) He would fail to marry as he was notoriously abusive. He would eventually become a respected warrior but not well-liked. His ego only got worse when his father appointed him his third in command but second to his cousin, Nerio. His father would have made him his second in command, but he lacked leadership qualities. He mastered Métier de l'âme at the same time, but his mother refused to give him priesthood. His ego was fragile and needed constant feeding. He would later murder his mother and father in a fit of rage and his cousin, Nerio, out of jealously. He escaped persecution by sacrificing himself to The Void. It is not known how long Javaraya lingered in The Void and Level 206 before he was recruited by Kim. He now serves as Kim's second in command. His demeanor is more subdued, but he does fly into rage from time to time.

Relationships[]

Kritanta[]

Kritanta is Javaraya's first younger brother via 'adoption'. Kritanta was almost killed by Javaraya when they first were introduced. Javaraya attempted to rip Kritanta's soul from his body. Kritanta survived his attack by creating a vacuum around Javaraya long enough for him to be deprived of air and cease his attack. Kritanta made it clear to Javaraya that he is not interested in replacing him as head. Kritanta voiced he is self-aware and knows he cannot overpower him. He would have attacked first if he believed he could defeat him. Javaraya has a decent relationship with Kritanta because Kritanta is diplomatic, calculating and chooses his battles wisely. Kritanta respects Javaraya's authority and appreciates his charisma and assertiveness. Javaraya acknowledges that Kritanta is submissive but not a push over. He will respectfully correct and put Javaraya in his place when he is out of line.

Dearil[]

Dearil is Javaraya's second younger brother via 'adoption'. Javaraya did not attack Dearil when introduced because Dearil practically threw himself at his feet. Dearil admitted that he knew that Javaraya could overpower him and was not interested in challenging him. Dearil overshared that he was the youngest of 4 older brothers and missed the relationship he had with them. Javaraya is confident that Dearil's need to restore some form of a familial tie was the real reason Dearil did not attack him. Dearil got disowned because of his misdeeds. Dearil was to be punished because of his misdeeds. Dearil confessed that he killed a few hundred Natives and a few dozen explorers. Dearil's only options were to be sacrificed on the black mirror and be bound to The Void or offer himself to The Void with the possibility of escaping. Javaraya has a wary relationship with Dearil because Dearil is somewhere between blissful ignorance, emotional destitution, and psychosis. Javaraya is disturbed by him and yet pities him. Dearil is appreciative of Javaraya. Dearil adores Javaraya. Dearil is sweet and endearing towards Javaraya. He sees Javaraya as his older brother but secretly wants to draw all his blood out of his body through his eyes.

Tuwile[]

Tuwile is the third younger brother of Javaraya via 'adoption'. Tuwile was raised by a Malveillant who taught him that anything that is weak is prey. Kim will admit that he was concerned about introducing Javaraya to Tuwile because Tuwile is a natural predator.

Kim warns Javaraya, His bloodlust is undeniable. He will challenge you for your spot. Do not disappointment me, Javaraya. Do not let me forget why I made you my first... my head... my commander... my alpha... Kim chuckles manipulatively. No pressure at all.

Tuwile did not hesitant upon being introduced to Javaraya. He came out of the gate manipulating the gravitational space around Javaraya, hoping he could make him implode. Javaraya overpowered him by reversing Tuwile's ability back on himself. Tuwile did not anticipate this attack, and Kim did not share with him what Javaraya's abilities were. Tuwile almost killed himself. Kim was delighted by them both. Despite Tuwile's defeat, Tuwile laughed wildly at Javaraya's ability to deflect him, and he gladly submitted to Javaraya. Javaraya has a mutually aggressive yet respectful relationship with Tuwile. Tuwile will openly question and challenge his authority, will come at him from out of nowhere, and will make idle threats while praising him as his leader. Javaraya knows he cannot afford to show weakness in Tuwile's presence and will sometimes return the favor by threatening and assaulting him. Javaraya has gone as far as trapping him between levels to assert dominance. Tuwile will respect Javaraya dominance as long as Javaraya does not show weakest. Tuwile is sadistic and enjoys his rivalry with Javaraya. Tuwile is a borderline masochist and secretly takes pleasure in Javaraya pulling him in his place.

Amara[]

Amara is Javaraya's youngest brother via 'adoption'. Javaraya and Amara did not attack each other when first introduced, but they did stare the other down and size the other up. Their staring contest lasted for 15 minutes. No one blinked. Javaraya could sense Amara was much weaker and inexperienced compared the others. Javaraya also detected he had an attitude. Javaraya concluded that he would patiently wait to see if he would have to put Amara in his place. Amara backed down. Amara knew Javaraya was significantly more skilled in combat than he was. Javaraya mocked him for not stepping up and challenging him. Amara was enraged. Amara revealed he could combust and manipulate fire before putting himself out and backing off again. He voiced that he did not like Javaraya and called him a few choice words before storming off. Javaraya questioned Kim's decision to select Amara as one of their elite. Kim's response...

SHE told me that he descended from skilled mystics who specialized in fire magic! My circle...my pentacle is now complete. SHE lead me to you did SHE not? You dare question HER wisdom, insight and foresight now? Kim acknowledges Javaraya's discomfort. I understand your distrust of HER but questioning HER is something I would not advise.

Javaraya has a tense and frustrating mentor/mentee relationship with Amara. Javaraya learned that Amara has potential but fails to meet any set standards. Javaraya cannot stand when Amara gives him attitude. Javaraya hates that he wastes time playing with his prey instead of executing them. (See Level 206 for the evidence.) Javaraya sees Amara as an edgy, lazy prick, and the only way you can get him to do anything is by p*ssing him off. Javaraya does not understand why he acts like a child. (Amara is 21 at the time of writing this, and most young 20-somethings do not have it all figured out. He was more of an arsonist than a killer.) Javaraya is more patient with Amara than the other three because he sees him as this pathetic little Edgelord (with anger issues). Amara hates that Javaraya is always on his case about everything. Amara feels pressured to please Javaraya. Amara's source of frustration is Javaraya. Amara does look up to Javaraya despite thinking he is an insufferable a**hole.

Cinder[]

You must suffer your little sister, Javaraya and suffer her, he must. Cinder is his only sister via 'adoption'. (Her recognition is not official... more on this later.) He just refuses to acknowledge her. Javaraya does not like her... borderline hates her... and sees her as an immature, obnoxious, and stupid little b*tch. He could do without her presence. She does go out of her way to annoy him on purpose. The exact reason for this is unclear. He would love to kill her... Kim will not let him.

The Glitched Goddess[]

Javaraya has mixed feelings concerning HER. He is uncomfortable in HER presence because he is terrified of displeasing HER. Displeasing Kim is one thing... displeasing HER is another. SHE erased one of the proxies from existence by simply looking at them.

Only Kim and I know they have ever existed. I am now telling you, Gary, that Dame Pépin can erase people from this reality... erase you from this reality... and no one would miss you. You will be purged from reality in such a way that you never existed. You are not gone. You have not been omitted. Your mark on the fabric of reality has been completely removed.

SHE told Javaraya that one of his abilities is to see the fabric of reality and see any alternations introduced to it. SHE told him that he will serve HER. Resist HER and die. Javaraya distrust HER and only obeys HER out of fear.

Symmetris[]

Rumor suggest she is the daughter of The Glitched Goddess. I do not see how. The Goddess said nothing about having a child. Her aura does feel familiar to me in more ways than one. I do not know why? Her essence is hard to read... like her life force belongs to someone's else... Nevertheless, I think little of her. She is annoying. She will not stop asking questions. I would kill her as to not have to hear her voice again but Kim believes the rumors and commanded me not too. Stranger still, there was something in father's voice suggesting that they would be hurt if I harmed her. Kritanta also acts strangely around her. He goes out of his way to protect her and gets all p*ssy when he feelings I am being disrespectfully towards her. Dearil has been know to befriend some of his victims but not Kritanta. Kritanta will converse with his victims but it is a means of torture.

Kritanta[]

Kill Streak Kim

Kritanta was my second proxy. He did not immediately call me father. He did not trust me. He was not fond of Javaraya at first. After his pass with Javaraya, he ran away...

I was afraid that he would not come back...

I needed him to come back...

I wanted him to come back...!

Why did you leave and where did you go!?

Is this parenthood...? This is awful...

He came back eventually but I could tell he was upset with me...

I do not mean to be a terrible parent. I do not know what I am doing! Your parents do not know what the f*ck they are doing either! STOP F*CKING JUDGING ME!!

What do I like about him...?

I know you are just changing the subject...

Anyway... I like his strong sense of self-awareness. His need to have order. His dramatic and moody personality. His need to overanalyze any situation.

Our relationship while loving can be cold at times. This might surprise you, Gary, but it is not me being cold... it is Kritanta. Kritanta is the most distance of my five. I cannot break him down no more than he already has been. He was not hard to tame. He was my most docile. Signs heavily. I feel compelled to shower him with affection. I remind him that his analytical skills are phenomenal. His kills... that depends on how he 'wields' the air. His preferred method is asphyxiation. I can tell he enjoys the slow struggle of his victims as they perish from oxygen deprivation. He does not bring me any victims. He brings me to his victims. I feel sorry for the state many of them are in. Anyway, any praise I give him is met with either an icily stare or a small, pleasant yet indifferent smirk.

Status: Alive

Malveillant Type: Animaux domestiques (Type 3) with Chercheur d'expiation (Type 4) tendencies.

Font presentation: Celestial Blue, Tangerine

Abilities: Avion (Translation: Aircraft) including fading into the wind, generating storms and gaseous substances, creating vacuums and 'The Breath of Life'. He can create pocket dimensions and create or manipulate reality. He cannot erase reality.

Levels created or contributed to:

  • Level -369 (Confirmed by Kill Streak Kim)
  • Level -499 (Unconfirmed but there is evidence suggesting he is responsible)
  • L████ -703 (Unconfirmed but M.E.G. operatives believe Kritanta is a likely candidate)
  • Level Pain (Confirmed by The Overseer entity in Level Pain)

Entity Case File: Kritanta was orphaned at the age of 6. Both his parents were 'taken' under mysterious circumstances that the Natives refuses to speak about. They fear it will come back and claim more if they speak its name. Kritanta was taken in by an aunt. She was not the best candidate, but she was the only surviving member of his family. She lost a few pups at birth. She lost her husband to whatever claimed her sister (Kritanta's mother) and her brother-in-law (Kritanta's father). She sipped some cashew water by accident resulting in her being paranoid, a nervous wreck, fearful, and overbearing. She began to verbally, emotionally, and psychologically abuse Kritanta at the age of 10 fearing that once he reached adulthood, he would leave her. Kritanta was described as a social butterfly and had many friends, but his aunt would not allow him to interact with them. His aunt began to intimidate his peers to alienate him further. Kritanta grew miserable due the constant abuse and alienation. He would hide or run away from his aunt to avoid having to deal with her. Of course, this toxic relationship would not end well. There is suspicion that Kritanta murdered his aunt when he was 16. This cannot be proven, but he disappeared soon after her body was found in their hut mutilated. Assuming he did kill his aunt, he escaped persecution by sacrificing himself to The Void. Rumors suggest that Kritanta escaped The Void to wander Level 206 and to talk to the 'Trees' before he was recruited by Kim.

Kritanta chuckles darkly, This prison... this hell... hold many things. You are an idiot if you think I am talking to simple foliage. But yes... mock me if you wish. It is you who must endure this nightmare. It is you who cannot tell if this is real or all in your head...

Kritanta now serves as Kim's third in command. Kritanta is now described as observant and quiet but does have the tendency to make callous remarks.

Relationships[]

Dearil[]

Dearil is Kritanta's first younger brother via 'adoption'. Kim knew that Kritanta was the most docile Malveillant they had acquired thus far. Dearil was the most disturbed and would kill anything because he could. Kritanta and Dearil quietly assessed each other until Kritanta broke the silence. Kritanta had gathered that Dearil is what human explorers would call a psychopath. He insisted that Dearil's mind is broken and wired to enjoy the senseless slaughter of the innocent for no reason. It is not about power or control for Dearil... he cannot help himself. Kritanta proceeds to admit he cannot judge Dearil. Kritanta confesses to being sadistic. Kritanta shares that his preferred method of execution is a slow struggle. He draws air out of your body and creates a vacuum around your person. How he does this cannot be confirmed but what is known is that humans can only survive 3 minutes without air. He takes delight in taking your breath away...literally. Your life is in his hand for those 3 minutes. Kritanta reveals it is all about control. Dearil sensed that Kritanta was a byproduct of abuse and psychological trauma. Of course, some will overcome these deplorable circumstances. A few will be victimized again by another. Even few become the abuser. Dearil did not challenge Kritanta, knowing their fight would be to the death. Knowing Kritanta would take pleasure in torturing him. The relationship Kritanta has with Dearil is mutual but wary. Kritanta appreciates his sweet and innocent demeanor but knows that Dearil is dangerous because he can cause harm without a motive. Dearil is driven by an irresistible impulse. Kritanta can tell by looking at Dearil that Dearil fantasizes about killing him. Dearil is amazed by how accurate Kritanta's analysis of him was. Dearil respects his cold and calculating demeanor. Dearil knows Kritanta knows that he wants to kill him.

Tuwile[]

Tuwile is Kritanta's second younger brother via 'adoption'. Kim was curious to see how Kritanta would fair against Tuwile. Tuwile is a nature predator and can be quiet at times. Kritanta is docile and quiet most of the time. You should never trust the pervasively quiet ones. You never know what is on their minds. Kim heard that the quiet ones are the most dangerous. Is this true? Kim wanted to know. Kim had to know! Kim must know!! Is Kritanta as docile as he presences himself?

Kim would not be disappointed...

Kritanta attacked first.

Kritanta did not allow Tuwile to make the first move because Tuwile would happily kill him if he decided to do otherwise. Tuwile challenges the strong but will destroy and consume the weak. Kritanta gathered that he needed to assert dominance over Tuwile promptly or die. Kritanta dissipated into the air so Tuwile could not locate him before withdrawing the air out of him to the point he collapsed Tuwile's lungs. Kritanta created a vacuum around Tuwile before reappearing. Kim took notice and delight in the sadistic yet polite smirk Kritanta had upon his face. Tuwile struggled to breathe and collapsed to the ground. Tuwile panicked and could not mount an effective counter. Tuwile was on the verge of blacking out as he flailed helplessly on the ground.

Kritanta could be heard whispering, For you are dust, and to dust you shall return...

Death pecked Tuwile on the cheek as Kritanta allowed him to breathe again. Tuwile's gasp for air sound like a death rattle. Tuwile's coughing was desperate, dry, and hoarse. Tuwile's ribs and diaphragm ached. Tuwile felt like a black hole was placed inside of his lungs. Tuwile attempted to stand but stumbled onto his hands and knees. Tuwile slowed his breathing and savored the air. Tuwile looked up at Kritanta who handle him in an artic glaze. Tuwile did not break eye contact as he finally stood up. Tuwile laughed nervously and surrendered, and Kritanta graciously accepted his surrender.

Kritanta's relationship with Tuwile is cold yet respectful. Kritanta knows that Tuwile is opportunistic yet obedient. Tuwile will respect your authority over him as long as you do not show weakness. Tuwile does not challenge Kritanta's authority because he is cold and calculating. Tuwile will not admit it, but he is genuinely afraid of Kritanta. Tuwile concluded that Kritanta is a savage Chercheur d'expiation. It is better if Kritanta kills you because the torture he will subjugate you to is much worse. Tuwile suspects that Kritanta is the type that will snap and leave a trail of carnage in their wake. He also admires this about him.

Amara[]

Amara is Kritanta's youngest brother via 'adoption'. When Kritanta and Amara were introduced, Kritanta did not breathe a word initially. His cold stare of judgment said it all. Kritanta knew that Amara was the weakest one amongst Kim's elite. Amara stared daggers into Kritanta, confirming his complex of inferiority. Kritanta decides to not provoke him as there is no point in rubbing salt in his wounds. While Kritanta is excellent in not disclosing his thoughts, his face sometimes gives away what he is thinking. Kritanta's pity for Amara could be seen resting quietly at the corners of his lips. Amara growls but lowers his head in frustration... he preferred Javaraya being an a** over Kritanta's icy sympathy.

Amara breaks the silence between them to confront Kritanta. (Keep in mind, Kritanta has not said a word to Amara yet.) Amara wanted Kritanta to get it over with. Amara demanded that Kritanta go ahead and get it out of his system. Amara challenged Kritanta to mock him, insult and laugh at his expense. Amara screamed and spat into Kritanta's face declaring that he hated Kritanta most of all because Kritanta was being smug. Kritanta politely dabbed Amara's spit from his face but maintained his frosty poise. Kritanta's lack of retort set Amara off more. (F.Y.I. Amara did not give Kritanta the opportunity to retort.) Amara's screams devolved into this rabid and unprovoked rant about how he sees Kritanta as another a**hole with a superior complex. Kritanta's silence was condescending and included threats of incinerating Kritanta because he was being a c*nt. Amara aggravated himself to the point he violently ignited and emitted electricity. Kritanta did step away from Amara upon him combusting. It was impossible for Kritanta to conceal his empathy for him at this point. Seeing that Kritanta pitied him enraged him more. Amara did not want pity!! Amara continues to demand that Kritanta speak or attack him. Kritanta ended his tirade by casually sweeping a category 5 hurricane across Amara putting him out. This action also served as a cordial slap. Amara blinks in confusion. It took a minute for Amara to realize what Kritanta did. Amara opened his mouth to confront Kritanta again. Traces of smoke was seen floating out of Amara's mouth.

Kritanta threw up his left hand and hissed, You are working yourself up over nothing! Calm yourself! Kritanta acknowledges Amara was shaking with rage and resumes with mild empathy. You have something to prove. You are looking for a fight. You are seeking reasons to be angry! Why!? I cannot say. I will assume it is your means to validate yourself. Kritanta acknowledges that he struck a nervous as Amara averted his eyes and lowered his head. Kritanta signs knowing Amara wanted to be taken seriously but how he acted made this difficult. Kritanta concluded with empathy I love you, Amara. I do. I love you enough to tell you... that you are a sorry little b*tch with angry issues and you are your worse enemy. You will come into your own with time.

The relationship Kritanta has with Amara is an empathetic yet harsh mentor/mentee relationship. Kritanta's assessment of Amara was direct and brutal yet truthful and well-meaning. Amara can respect Kritanta's authority because he tries to understand his position and not just bark orders at him and make him feel small.

Cinder[]

Cinder is his only sister via 'adoption'. Kim did not believe they would get along. They get along better than most. Kritanta and Cinder enjoy the other's company when they pair up. They will use familial terms of endearing referring to the other as brother and sister when interacting with each other. Kritanta is the only one who will claim Cinder as their sibling without bitterness or confusion. They do butt heads now and then because Kritanta is more calculating and rigid, while Cinder is more chaotic and unpredictable. Kritanta must plan before proceeding. Cinder is more easygoing. When they argue amongst themselves, they get to know each other a little bit more.

The Glitched Goddess[]

SHE terrifies the Malveillant you know. Rumor has it that SHE is responsible for our existence as SHE corrupted the souls of a few Natives from Level -777 many eons ago. Her ability to corrupt absolute seems limited for reasons unknown as SHE has not succeeded in corrupting us all. SHE does not have influence over me. I obey HER willing because I am the father of HER child that SHE knows nothing about.

You do not believe that?

That is a fair response.

I do not quite believe it myself.

I am a Maveillant after all. I could be lying to you for clout.

I could be telling the truth for once and yes... the relationship I have with the girl is more complicated than the one I have with her mother.

Symmetris[]

She came to us one-day seeking knowledge. She wanted to know if The Glitched Goddess was her mother. Who created her and why? They all insisted they feel the Goddess's essence within her and someone else's. He inhales deeply then confesses. That someone else is me...

She is my daughter!

Is she my daughter?

Kritanta curses himself. No, Kritanta! You abandoned her once before. Man up, you p*ssy!

Kritanta hisses with embarrassment. Stop giving me that look, Gary!

I can explain, and it is not what you think!

Pervert!!

Kritanta collections himself. I resurrected Level Pain using 'The Breath of Life', and it gained sentience. Level Pain was a spatial anomaly. This spatial anomaly harbored the remnants of The Glitched Goddess for reasons I cannot say. I was able to extract HER essence from the ruins of Level Pain and resurrected HER remnants after restoring Level Pain. The remnant of The Glitched Goddess was something different. It felt alive. I was curious. It felt incomplete. I was compelled to finish it. I felt something when I touched those remains... ecstasy maybe? I experienced such a rush pouring my energy into that remnant. I peaked and the remnant pulse in return. I finished it! I recall falling back on my a** in shock because it moved. A little girl began to take shape out of the remnants. We locked eyes. I felt a connection. She fainted. I panicked...

I fled.

I was not sure if she was alive or dead. I do not know why I did not check. Stop judging me! I know I abandoned her to wonder The Backrooms alone and without guidance. You would think I would have taken her in knowing how I was raised! I am no better than my b*tch of an aunt!

...

Tell her I created her!?

NO!!

How does this sound? Some foolish and irresponsibly beast brought her into this reality with no plan or purpose... that I made her by accident! That would crush her spirit! I cannot tell her I am her creator! She would feel like a mistake... She might see herself as some error... that her existence was a meaningless experiment! She would hate me for that!

Yes... I am bonding with her. I am the only Malveillant who will. She is mine. I can feel bits of me in her. I hope when she learns the truth, she will forgive me and know that I do love her as much as any stupid, demented, pathetic wretch can!

No...I have not told anyone else yet. I am ashamed. I believe my secret will not be a secret for long. I have this feeling father knows. They keep giving me this wild excited look when I am interacting with her.

He laughs manically. No... I have not told HER about HER daughter. There is no point. Symmetris was not created from some romantic trysts between me and HER. He shivers. The Glitched Goddess is not my type. She is egotistic, vapid, cold, and needlessly combative. Do not get me wrong... I adore a woman who is pugnacious, but SHE has the mentality of a spoiled brat. If SHE was all powerful as SHE claims... SHE would not need us to do HER dirty work. SHE is nothing to look at... SHE is a revolting mess of coding errors, glitches, and computer viruses. Sitting on a washing machine during the spin cycle would be more thrilling and tantalizing than HER. I only gave life to a small piece of HER remnants by accident... that is all. You creatures can stop shipping us together. The relationship we have is HER barking orders at me, and I dutifully obeying HER commands. SHE thinks little of me, and I do not care for HER. There is no love between us. SHE is not capable of loving anyone but herself. I only listen to HER out respect of my father, my blood-brothers, and HER daughter. He sighs. And... as strange as this sounds... I love the little being HER remnants produced, but not her mother. No other 'God' likes HER, and I see why...!

Dearil[]

Kill Streak Kim

Dearil was my third proxy. He calls me daddy not father with such child-like enthusiasm.

Daddy...

Daddy.

Daddy?

Your father is supposed to maintain order within the household. Your father is supposed to offer support and guidance so you can manifest and grow into a functional adult. Your father is supposed to protect you from all the dark and awful things in the world. My father could not protect me from this trap... this prison... this Hell. I am a part of this nightmare now.

Huh...? What! NO! I do not blame my father for what has become of me. He did not know this reality existed!! It has been eons since I have seen my father's face... hear my father's voice. He died centuries ago. He died with all of his children missing without a trace. He died not know we all got trapped in The Backrooms!

I am rambling again...

I do not what possessed me to disclose all of that...

Do not look at me like that, Gary. I do not want or need your empathy. Let us get back on what you asked me before...

Yes... what I like about Dearil is what we were discussing.

I adore his chronic state of ignorant bliss. His need to maintain a positive outlook. His carefree personality. His sweet and pleasant demeanor.

Our relationship while loving can be awkward. I love Dearil. Dearil loves me. He loves his brothers. His brothers love him in their own strange and demented away. I appreciate... I adore... his carefree, sweet and playful personality. He does not look like he would hurt anyone or anything. He has resting derp face. He looks silly most of the time. The issue I have with him is he has no impulse-control when it comes to murder. There are times... I need him to not kill. If he thinks he can kill it, he will. Kim makes this uncomfortable face. He likes to bring daddy dead things. He prefers to bring the severed heads of his victims. The delight on his face is unmistakable. I cannot reject his gifts... he gets upset when I do. He is a delightful mess.

Status: Alive

Malveillant Type: Animaux domestiques (Type 3) with L'abandonné dement (Type 2) tendencies.

Font presentation: Turquoise, Tangerine

Abilities: Courber l'Eau (Translation: WaterCraft). There are reports he removed his wings and grew webbing between his feet and hands and feathery gills on his neck like the axolotl to serve as Kim's swimmer and diver. He can generate electricity like the electric eel, and he can secrete slime like the hagfish. He can manipulate the movement of other individuals by controlling the water present in the body in a technique called Marionnette sur l'Eau (Translation: Water Puppet). He can remove and force water into his victims or the environment in a technique called Décapage à l'Eau (Translation: Water Stripping). He can create pocket dimensions and create or manipulate reality. He cannot erase reality.

Levels created or contributed to:

  • Level -369 (Confirmed by Kill Streak Kim)
  • Level 725 (Unconfirmed but there is evidence suggesting he is responsible)

Entity Case File: Dearil was the son of a respected Fisherman and Trapper name Aalto and a sweet Artisan named Lana. He was the youngest of 4 older brothers. His father would take him on the water with his brothers to show him how to catch fish and to perform Courber l'Eau (Translation: Water Craft). Dearil was well-liked and did not have a terrible upbringing, but he did some disturbing things. He would pull all the water out of plants causing them to writhe and die. He also figured out he could manipulate the movement of his peers by controlling the fluids in their bodies. No one believed he met any harm. He was described as playful, cheerful, charming, and pleasant to be around. No one saw what was coming or wanted to believe Dearil was capable of what was to come.

He had a dark side and a strange interest in manipulating water in ways that were forbidden. He confessed to killing 27 tribal members and 10 explorers by pulling all the fluids out of their bodies. (More bodies were found.) He even showed Tribal Elders where he hid the dehydrated and crumbling bodies. His family disowned him. His community was shocked. Everyone who knew him demanded an explanation, but he could not give one. He admitted that he learned that he liked killing. There was suspicion that he did not act alone, but he refused to disclose whether or not he had an accomplice. Dearil's honesty was well received, but his actions were unforgivable. He willingly surrendered and agreed he needed to be executed for his misdeeds. During his execution, he had a change of heart. He performed Décapage à l'Eau on the witnesses, broke free, and sacrificed himself to The Void. It is not known how long Dearil lingered in The Void and Level 206 before he was recruited by Kim. Dearil is still playful and carefree but in a more demented way.

Relationships[]

Tuwile[]

Tuwile is Dearil's first younger brother via 'adoption'. Kim was thrilled to introduced Dearil to Tuwile. They both are considered predators and hedonistic - thrill killers. Dearil does not understand why he enjoys murder. He knows what he is doing is wrong... he actually wants to stop. Tuwile was groomed into a predator. He was raised to believe in killing the weak. He believes if he overpowers you and takes your life, you were weak and deserved to die. He is hardwired to consume the weak.

Kim voices with malicious anticipation upon pairing Dearil and Tuwile, Who would die first? The one who will kill and eat the weak or the one that is oblivious to their own twisted tendencies?

They did not need to be prompt. Blood exploded from Dearil's ears and nose as he performed Décapage à l'Eau on Tuwile. Tuwile saw and felt several liters worth of water exit every orifice on his body as he attempted to force Dearil to implode. Dearil was more physically resilient than Tuwile thought. Tuwile changes tactics. Tuwile slammed his foot into the ground to send a trail of earth in Dearil's direction. Dearil was somewhat disorientated by Tuwile's first attack but manages to dodge the second. Dearil crashes on the grounds as Tuwile alters the gravity surrounding him. Dearil manages to water strip the air and himself and launch needle point droplets at Tuwile. Dearil succeeded in severely lacerating Tuwile with the water he launched at him but was slowly getting crushed into the grounds. Kim teleported themselves between them and commanded for them to stop attacking the other.

Kim applauds them both, I do not know who I am impressed by more.

Dearil managed to dig himself out. He staggered to his feet and shook it off, all while maintaining this radiant smile. Tuwile was quietly assessing his new battle scars in amazement. He has never been cut by water. Kim stepped aside as they scrolled up to confront the other once more. Without warning, they began to assault the other. Blood, vicious blows, and well-placed hexes ensued until Tuwile was trembling on the floor from dehydration, and Dearil had blood pouring out of every orifice. They were equally matched, and they both knew it. Kim decided too not to intervene as they were playing.

Kim confirms (but it is worth mentioning Kim sound a bit defensive), Yes... They were playing. They sat and laughed together once they got tired or bored of assaulting the other. Dearil and Tuwile became fast friends, and they enjoyed raising Cain together. They have mutual appreciation for the other. They are both monsters in their own right, and I would not have it any other way.

Amara[]

This image of an axolotl was included with this document to emphasize how Amara perceives Dearil's physical appearance.

This image of an axolotl was included with this document to emphasize how Amara perceives Dearil's physical appearance.

Amara is Dearil's younger brother via 'adoption'. Amara has begun to question why he agreed to be taken in by Kim upon meeting Dearil. Dearil is scary, but his physical appearance and wholesome demeanor is not convincing. Forget the composite sketch of Dearil for a moment. Amara and dozens of Dearil's victims will insist Dearil looks more pleasant in person. His endearing face conflicts with his homicidal impulsivity. Amara insisted (and several explorers and investigators agreed) that Dearil has the face of an axolotl but the homicidal appetite of Ted Bundy or Jeffrey Dahmer.

Amara did not know what to expect from Dearil as he stood before this silent maniac. Amara defensively ignited as Dearil's black soulless pits traced the length of his person. Amara knew Dearil was sizing him up with the intent to water strip him. Amara knew he still had the advantage as Dearil could water-strip himself, the atmosphere and the moisture off the walls and put him out but not if Amara burned hot enough. Amara's fire was a majestic and defiant blue. Dearil stepped back in awe as the flames licked his cheek and chin. Dearil seemed mesmerizing by the delicate dance of Amara's flames. Dearil smiled like an entertained child and clapped in delight. Amara got vexed by this and demanded that Dearil challenge him. Dearil happily fulfilled his request by summoning a flood of almond water from an unknown source and proceeded to conceal and drown him inside a bubble. Dearil forced a small amount of almond water into Amara before drawing it back with some of his blood. Dearil burst the water pocket, and Amara fell out onto the ground to cough and choke on water, smoke and blood. Amara was soaked and disorientated and was pulled onto his feet by Dearil. Dearil looked Amara over. Amara snarled and wiggled out of his grip. Amara snapped at Dearil to back off. Dearil did not, of course, and proceeded to pet him on his head, knowing Amara was frustrated because he was defeated. Amara did confront him later to ask why Dearil did not try and kill him.

The relationship Dearil has with Amara is strangely compassionate. Amara does not understand Dearil. Dearil admitted he does not understand himself either. Dearil confessed to wanting to kill Amara, but he could not bring himself to do it. Dearil recounted that he came from a large family but was since disowned. Dearil missed having that familial bond. Dearil revealed he imprinted on Amara and the others. Dearil believes this familial imprinting might be the reason he cannot kill them. Dearil mentioned he never targeted anyone that was family. Dearil insisted he wanted to, but he could not. Amara was amazed that Dearil does have his limits. Amara could respect that. Amara will not say this, but he regrets the shame he brought to his own family, especially to his grandfather, Olguin, who Amara almost got executed because he was trying to protect him and bury his sin.

Cinder[]

Cinder is his only sister via 'adoption'. He acknowledges that she has been designated his 'sister' but strangely wants her dead. Why is anyone's guess? Javaraya believes his desire to murder their 'sister' is because her kill count is significantly higher than his. Eliminating or dominating one's competition is encouraged by Kim, so Dearil may be concerned about being replaced. Javaraya would have more to worry about than Dearil if this were the case. Cinder never showed any interest in replacing any of her brothers. She revealed her kill count to Dearil, hoping to impress him and gain his approval. Kritanta insists that Dearil is a psychopath. He does not need a reason. He possibly does not know why he wants to kill their 'sister'. Tuwile argues that Dearil detects she is a rabbit amongst wolves. Amara points out that Dearil wants to kill anyone... so what is the big deal? Kim concluded that Dearil threatening or expressing the desire to kill you is his love language. It is his way of saying 'I love you'. You should be concerned if he does not voice his desire to murder you at all. He tells Cinder he wants her dead often but has not attempted to harm her. Dearil will insist that he does not hate her. He wants to draw all of her blood out of her body but admits that killing her would not spark joy.

Tuwile[]

Kill Streak Kim

Tuwile was my fourth proxy. He was challenging to tame... positive punishment was necessary...

Heavy positive punishment...

Capital punishment...

I physically and telekinetically assaulted him! I destroyed him mentally and emotionally! I verbally tore into him! I ruined his reality... I abused him... OKAY!

I am not a good parent. I already said I was not a good parent... Tuwile was a challenge... I did what I had too. Tuwile is an adult Malveillant, anyway! None of you are parents!! F*CK OFF!!

There is no excuse for what I did to him to get him to obey me. I apologize to him for it and our relationship is better... Can we please change the subject?

I am a god awful parent...

What do I like about him?

His predatorial appetite. His need to subdue and destroy the weak. His is surprisingly charming at times. His is manipulative.

Our relationship is loving and destructive. He challenges my authority. He questions my judgement. He insists on debating with me when I give him a direct order. He likes to push my buttons. He does what he wants, however, he wishes. He has attacked me. He has tried to kill me more than once. He is my trouble-maker. I love him anyway. He has admitted to liking me somewhat. He is misunderstood... or that is what I tell myself... He is testing the boundaries of our relationship. He is quiet for the most part. He is testing my patience and he has paid for it dozens of times!! He likes to play head games. His kills are brutal, merciless, and messy. He loves chaos. He loves carnage. He loves confusion. He loves conflict.

Status: Alive

Malveillant Type: Animaux domestiques (Type 3)

Font presentation: Earthy Moss, Tangerine

Abilities: Métier de la Terre (Translation: Earth Craft). There are reports that he raises corpses, can manipulate the earth and can alter gravitational and magnetic fields. He can hear every physiological function and response of any creature he is hunting. He can create pocket dimensions and manipulate reality. He cannot create or erase reality.

Levels contributed to:

  • Level -369 (Confirmed by Kill Streak Kim)
  • Level 532 (Unconfirmed but there is evidence suggesting he is responsible. Who his accomplice was cannot be confirmed.)

Son obsession: |Officer Atticus N. Wolfe

Entity Case File: Tuwile's father is unknown, and he was abandoned by his mother. He was taken in at the age of 3 by a Native Hunter and Tracker name Quimmot, who also was a Malveillent. Quimmot taught Tuwile anything that is weak is prey. Quimmot would take him to the Voidic Woods to stalk and trap entities and explorers. Quimmot showed Tuwile how to skin alive his victims. Quimmot taught him what were the best parts to eat from a human. Quimmot also began to teaching Tuwile Métier de la Terre (Translation: Earth Craft) when he was 6. No one suspected a thing. Tuwile in the presence of his peers was well-adjusted, friendly and approachable. Tuwile became a Native Hunter and Tracker under Quimmot at the age of 18. His other superiors grew suspicious of him because some of his comrades would get injured, killed or disappear when they went hunting with him. Quimmot reassured them it was a coincidence, but Quimmot knew that Tuwile had become a cannibal. Quimmot did nothing because Tuwile would share the meat. Quimmot's teachings would come back to bite him...literally. He became sickly when Tuwile was 20. Tuwile killed and ate him because of what he was taught. Tuwile then proceeded to sacrifice himself to The Void to avoid persecution. It is not known how long Tuwile lingered in The Void and Level -222 before he was recruited by Kim. Tuwile does not say much. When he does speak, it always sounds like a threat, or he is making a threat. He also seems to like getting under Kim's skin.

Relationships[]

Amara[]

Amara is Tuwile's younger brother via 'adoption'. Amara is the weakest out of them all but was Amara prey? Tuwile knew Amara was the weakest, but he was interested to see what he would or could do. He knew he could combust and breathe fire, but would that be enough to save him from implosion?

Amara was an arsonist and fire mystic, but he had another trick up his sleeve...

He was a demolitionist, and Tuwile got the full force of Amara going nova and self-detonating. Tuwile did not have enough time to mount an effective counter. Tuwile received 4 degree burns over 60% of his body but regenerated quickly. Amara's attack was not as effective as he hoped as it takes a while to build up energy to incinerate your opponent, and he did not have that time. He would suffer an energetic deficit regardless, so when using this technique... proximity, force upon release, timing, and build up mattered. Amara dropped to his knees. He watches Tuwile recover and march toward him. Amara figured that if Tuwile was going to kill him, he would go out fighting. He proceeded to hyperventilate to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) in his blood. This would make it easier for him to collection oxygen. He was breathing more slowly by the time Tuwile was standing over him. Tuwile cocked his head to the side. Amara knew Tuwile was playing with his food. Amara hoped he liked his food hot as Amara erupted like a volcano and blew a torrent of fire into Tuwile's face. Tuwile barely dodged this assault with a few ambers clinging to his hair. Amara coughed up smoke, and his body shook from exhaustion. He wishes that it was understood that he was not lazy. He was not unmotivated. He was not weak. He was inexperienced. He did not know how to effectively mount his attacks without wasting energy. Tuwile put out his hair and acknowledged Amara was hyperventilating again. Smoke was pouring out his mouth and nose. Tuwile admired his tenacity and insisted he was ready to spare him. Amara was too exhausted to bicker. Amara accepted Tuwile's offer to spare him before passed out from exhaustion.

The relationship Tuwile has with Amara is respectful yet a firm mentor/mentee relationship. Tuwile insisted on taking Amara under his wing... figuratively and literally. Tuwile enforces that it is 'kill or be killed'. Tuwile spared Amara because where he lacks experience and skill... he compensates with determination and persistence. Amara respected Tuwile as one of his mentors and would do his best to not disappoint him. Amara also appreciated that Tuwile is like Kritanta but rougher around the edges.

Amara[]

Kill Streak Kim

Amara was my fifth proxy. He is the youngest of my boys...

Is he lazy!?

Oh! Javaraya exaggerates his siblings' flaws if it means making himself look better.

Sibling rivalry is normal. A little bloodshed and sharing between siblings go a long way...

Do not get me wrong. I love Amara and Javaraya equally. But! You must understand that the more children you have, the more personalities and competition you have to deal with. Sometimes I let them sort it out amongst themselves, which brings me back to Amara. He is the weakest, but he is not a weakling.

Everyone thinks he is harmless.

No... No... he is bored. Your presence intrigues him. Why kill you when he can be entertained by you for a bit. Once he loses interest in you, you are as good as dead.

What do I like about him?

He is arrogant. He is volatile. He likes to give people a false impression. His rage is frightening, and I love it.

Our relationship is both loving and frustrating. Sighs with pity. The frustration is not on my end. I have to be patient with him because Amara has no patience for himself. I find it hilarious and sad that no one has to say or do anything to him to upset him. He has a chip on his shoulder. He gives everyone an attitude. He will accuse you of judging him. He will breathe fire and burst into flames if he feels threatened. He has something to prove... what is it? I do not know, but daddy hopes he finds it. If you pet him, he will settle down while insisting you are being an a**hole. When he trusts himself and is focused, he is a force to be reckoned with.

Status: Alive

Malveillant Type: Animaux domestiques (Type 3) with Chercheur d'expiation (Type 4) tendencies.

Font presentation: Fire Red, Tangerine

Abilities: Magie du feu (Translation: Fire Craft). There are reports he can generate and manipulate fire, electricity, and radiation and self-destruct. He is learning how to trigger other entities and humans to combust. He can create pocket dimensions and manipulate reality. He cannot create or erase reality.

Levels contributed to:

  • Level -369 (Confirmed by Kill Streak Kim)

Entity Case File: Amara was son to two respected shamans, Cyrus and Pele. He was the middle child of 7 siblings. He alienated himself. He acted as if everyone had something against him. He would go out of his way to fight anyone just because, win or lose. He hated everyone expect his grandfather, Olguin. Olguin, taught him Magie du feu (Translation: Fire Craft) in hope to teach him discipline and self-control and to balance whatever fire was burning inside of him. Teaching Amara Magie du feu only made him more rebellious and a threat.

Amara would disappoint his parents by not becoming a shaman at 18. He spent his days wandering the Voidic Woods and Ethereal Grounds, burning random entities, animals, things and places because he could. Amara would, later, kill his first victim via incineration at the age of 19 because of a trivial argument. He got away with 5 more incinerations before he was caught by his grandfather. Amara confessed to his grandfather that he did it to 'set the score'. Olguin was ashamed and humiliated but could not bear the thought of his grandson getting sacrificed to The Void. Olguin turned himself in as suspicion grew. Olguin lied! Olguin confessed to killing those six Natives to protect Amara. Olguin was taken in to be probed further as many did not believe it was him. Olguin refused to sell out his grandson and demanded to be punished.

Amara dragged his feet for 3-days. He debated whether he should tell the truth or let his grandfather take the fall for his sins. Amara realized at the last minute that he would not be able to live with himself. He disrupted the execution screaming that his grandfather lied on his behalf. He admitted everything and described his heinous acts in fine detail to ensure no one could question if it was him. He begged the witnesses to forgive his grandfather for trying to protect him. He declared that his grandfather had nothing to do with his crimes. He lamented that his grandfather was innocent. Before anyone could act, Amara sacrificed himself to The Void. Olguin was spared because of Amara's confession. Olguin later confirmed that he was trying to help his grandson escape persecution. No one faulted Olguin for this. In fact, he received pity. No one in Amara's family knew what they did wrong or what they could have done to prevent this. It is not known how long Amara lingered in The Void and Level 206 before he was recruited by Kim. Amara is more corrupted than he was before. He is arrogant, has a superior complex, and acts as if he has something to prove and reality owns him something. The only thing he regrets is hurting his grandfather, but for his sins and the monster he is slowly becoming... he can never go home.

Cinder[]

Status: Alive

Malveillant Type: Chercheur d'expiation (Type 4).

Font presentation: Amber, Tangerine

Abilities: Possibly remote viewing and reality manipulation and/or creation. She can take on a more humanoid form.

Levels created or contributed to:

Entity Case File: Cinder was daughter to two charming and affectionate Native Alchemists named Joua and Hiyeil. She was an only child but never displayed any spoiled or selfish tendencies. She was happy, never shedding a single tear, not knowing what life had planned for her in the future. On her 16th birthday, this will all change upon her parents disappearing under mysterious circumstances while surveying and collecting mushroom samples in The Voidic Woods of Level 702. She was devastated by her parents' disappearance. She was determined to find them knowing she was not abandoned and refusing to believe they were claimed by some eldritch horror lurking in those woods. While the initial search party had given up, she devoted hours each day for several months combing the everchanging space of The Voidic Woods. Her devotion to being reunited with her parents again turned to fixation. Her fixation turned to obsession. Her obsession gave way to madness and despair. She screamed their names into the abyss of these woods but never got an answer. They are gone, others of her kind said with empathy, knowing that the loss of both parents had adversely affected her psyche. She refused to accept this. Her parents being dead was not acceptable. They were good... good creatures simply do not disappear. If no one else were going to help her find them, she would do it alone. They had to be out there. The loss of her parents drove her insane, causing her to forego sleep and nourishment to look for them in vain. She will later die of exhaustion and starvation at the age of 17, or so her people thought.

Cinder was sacrificed to The Void by an unknown Malveillant who served as a Reaper. She can vaguely recall being told by this beast that they wanted to see if the innocent would suffer the same fate as the convicted. She found herself floating in darkness with no hope of escape and the lingering echoes of her assailant's laughter resonating in her ears. Here she will stay forever, she thought, until The Producers intervened. She was made the classic offer no one refuses, but everyone should. If she serves them, they will pull her out of The Void and help her find her parents. They explained how they felt terrible for her as she was unjustly sacrificed to such a place. They carried on about how it was not fair for her to be orphaned without closure. They convinced her that if given a second chance she could right all the wrongs that has taken place in her life. She promptly accepted their deal, not knowing the challenges she would face along the way.

She will be given to the entity known as Kill Streak Kim to serve as their proxy. She would eventually be encouraged and coerced into committing terrible acts of violence for the sake of it, to keep her rank amongst Kim's demented elite and to keep the others from turning on her. She would later find herself torturing and killing other weaker Malveillants because they were different and could not compete. She would be told, "That they 'deserved' to be eliminated". Why was not clearly explained to her, but she would soon learn and embrace the concept of 'kill or be killed'. She was molded and shaped into a monster. During her short service to Kim and The Producers, she managed to have the highest kill count amongst the Malveillant. She would eventually forsake Kim to join their brother, Dr. Astrid F. Nightingale, or be sent away to live with them. (Kim acknowledges her as their estranged daughter and refuses to elaborate on their relationship.)

Cinder will only be 19 at the time of writing this. She is considered a 'Chercheur d'expiation' as she works closely with an entity named Dr. Astrid F. Nightingale and his helper and adopted son, Amygdala. Rumors suggest she was summoned by the M.E.G. to reconstruct and manage Level 611.3 and disclose anything she knew about her estranged father, in return, she was allowed to establish a familial relationship with her uncle, Astrid. She has been instructed to camp Level 611.3, where she hosts her own 'game show' (Behavioral Test) in which wanderers choose their fate after fear-based conditioning. She was instructed to terminate uncooperative participates. She executes any entities that somehow spawn within the level, as their presence makes her game unfair and unplayable. Surprisingly, Cinder is the only one of her kind to change form upon entering her new domain (which is not often), discarding her beast-like appearance for a more humanoid shape to make her 'contestants' feel more at ease.

Female # -181[]

Status: Alive

Malveillant Type: It is unknown what Malveillant variant they are and Kim refuses to disclose what type they are. It is believed that they are a Chercheur d'expiation (Type 4).

Font presentation: Electric Yellow, Tangerine

Abilities: Possibly remote viewing and reality manipulation and/or creation. Explorers have heard her speak but have never seen her physically. It cannot be confirmed if she created Level -181 or contributed to the construction of Level -181.

Levels created or contributed to (unconfirmed):

  • Level -181
Entity Case File: There is not a lot of information available concerning this entity. We know that this entity is a Malveillant and female because Kim insisted that they are. Kim refuses to disclose anything else about her, including her name and why she is camping Level -181. A few explorers have asked her directly to share her name and disclose why she is there, but she outright refused to address those inquiries. M.E.G. Paranormal psychologists are trying to figure out how to summon her so they may probe her further, but you need to know her name, angel number, and sigil. Other Malveillants have been summoned to obtain valuable information concerning her, but there have been some challenges. Most do not respond, some respond with lethal force, or the few who have responded without deadly force do not have answers. M.E.G. operatives have deemed her a passive threat as her role in the creation of Level -181 cannot be confirmed. She seems to be there to guide and spectate explorers as they progress through the level. She does not intervene if explorers run into any trouble.
