Look, I was looking through archives in M.E.G.'s database, and I found some stuff there. There are some details in this log that seems eerily similar to whatever this Mike guy is talking about.

There was an operation, meant to establish another M.E.G. outpost somewhere in Level 94, but the group active in the operation was ambushed by something at night.
Or someone.
The only person who managed to survive was an operative named Hank. All he could ever remember were yellow lights.

I find it suspicious that he could not remember anything before those lights at all. Who knows? He may have abandoned them like the coward I take him for when some anomaly came to them.

I talk with a guy named Kookie sometimes. Turns out, he's stationed in Base Alpha with Hank and know each other pretty well. The guy's like an uncle to him.

Corporal Cardiolog, reporting in.
After much investigation, I have reasons to believe that the boy, Mike, may have been right about what's been going on in Level 94, as well as my second-in-command, Sergeant Oti- I mean "Ghost"... as much as I hate to admit it.
I investigated the archives in the M.E.G.'s database, but little did those two know, this wasn't the first time those yellow lights at Level 94 were mentioned. The sergeant didn't know that, however, since he's not a high-ranking individual such as myself, and therefore does not have the same level of access that I do.
Getting off topic here.
Many wanderers, M.E.G. operatives, and allied explorers have witnessed the lights. The team the sergeant mentioned before was sent there to investigate what was making them, but they were ambushed by something... "or someone", as the sergeant continues to believe.
There is just so much more useful information that I can record, but I would rather not get too deep into that right now. I still have objectives to complete around here, and some of the higher ups have been nagging me to contact them as soon as possible. Whatever they are trying to tell me must be of very high importance for them to irritate me so much...
I'm confused as to why the M.E.G. would keep such information away from the rest of us.
Matters not, now. Until I find time to look deeper and further discuss this entire situation, I will upload this information here later. Perhaps I should have an operation started with my squad.

This operation is going to prove itself difficult, as myself and the rest of our squadron will be further away from Level 94. Our part of the squadron can't get any closer for reasons you already know of.
They may find it... suspicious. We'll have to find a way around this problem.
But when we are traveling, I will let you all know what the plan is.
Roles and missions will be assigned.
And everyone sticks to it.
