Greetings, citizens of the Backrooms.
As you all may know, we are the Major Explorer Group, a group dedicated to exploring the Backrooms, researching and documenting its anomalies, and helping humanity survive within this hellscape. For years we have dedicated our entire organization to this goal, all in pursuit of bettering humanity and ensuring they thrive within this dimension.
However, recent circumstances have greatly hindered our group's peaceful proceedings. The Jovials, the Marauders, the Auto Nexus, and the wretched despots in charge of Aurielle have all chosen to stand in the way of progress and freedom, terrorizing our settlements and brainwashing wanderers all over the Backrooms with their insidious lies.
But that ends now. We have brought forward a new plan, one to strengthen our group's gracious embrace across the Backrooms and ensure that humanity remains safe and happy for generations to come: Project Threshold, our new savior.
No longer are we willing to watch as these insipid parties tear apart our achievements. No longer are we willing to stay quiet as virtuous men and women are torn apart by gruesome beasts. No longer are we willing to remain tranquil as our enemies threaten to snuff out our future as a species.
It is now time to strike back at these forces of evil. The brilliant people aiding our group have brought in numerous military supplies from an undisclosed level, and distribution of these weapons of war will begin soon. For those within our colonies who have not yet joined our group, I call on you to stand with us in these turbulent times, to support us as we battle to wipe out these tyrants, to reinforce our cause as we inch closer to peace.
No longer can we merely be passive. We must wipe out these impediments once and for all.
We have adapted. We have protected. We have survived.
...And now?
We fight.
