Backrooms Wiki

Secret levels are unnumbered levels that can typically only be accessed if one goes out of their way to find them, leading to heavy biases in reporting and little evidence of existence. As such levels classified here only remain so until they are documented enough to be classed under the usual system.

The Basement

The Basement is a hidden level in the Backrooms that is reported to be the bottom of the Backrooms. Entry is thought to be achieved by climbing into the ceiling of any hallway, and navigating the void space that lies above. The level is often regarded as an unknown region, with few living to tell the tale and even fewer being able to give a consistent description of its interior. Escape is difficult due to its unpredictable mapping.

The Metro

The Metro is a recently discovered level that can be accessed randomly while boarding a train. The Metro contains a series of tunnels that connect its train system to the entrances of multitude of sub-levels. The Metro can be mapped and goes in this order:

The trains appear to drive on their own anomalously, though some claim a entity nicknamed ‘the conductor’ controls them.

The Whiteout

The Whiteout is one of the many regions a Level -1 door can open. People who enter The Whiteout often report the level as being the interior of a house under renovation with blinding lights coming from the windows.

The Static

The Static is an unknown region that got its name due to a number of increased device disruptions that occur making them go static upon entry. Entry can be achieved through the use of a glitched arcade machine in Level 25. The region’s appearance is currently indeterminable due to conflicting witness accounts, ranging from an abandoned hotel, to an insane asylum, or a futuristic office building. The only documented way to exit is no-clipping through a wall into the negative levels. There is a rumored ‘darker depths’ region of the level but not much is known about it.

The Blackout

A "reverse" of The Whiteout dubbed "The Blackout". The area appears to be the interior of an old rundown house with blacked out windows. The Blackout is known to contain several Entities that are exclusive to it.

Entity ###

An aggressive middle aged humanoid that seems to mirror damage inflicted on it into others.

The Greyout

The Greyout is a hypothetical point between The Whiteout and The Blackout that allows for travel between the two levels through the use of white paint in the Blackout & black paint in the Whiteout.

Level *******

Level ******* is a theoretical level located in the backrooms that is believed to be the convergence point between Level REDACTED and the negative levels, making them easier to travel between.

The Downrooms

The Downrooms is an extensive labyrinth of walls, doors, windows, that have been largely classified as “Sub-Levels”. Levels in levels, it has yet to be determined how large the Downrooms are.

Level Deimos

Level Deimos consists of a long dark hallway, lined with old antique paintings on the walls. Distorted music from the song “Roknos” can be heard throughout the hallway.

The Afterlife

The Afterlife is a mysterious level, only accessed by dying in the Backrooms. It consists of an infinite, dark cemetery within a forest.

Tunnel of Joy

Every year, on the 6th of June, a random person or group will no-clip out of their level into the Tunnel of Joy at around 6am.
