"Do you know why everyone calls them Sixarms, even though they clearly have more than six arms? It's because most who try to count them only get to six before getting impaled through the neck by the damn things!" ― Mitch, The Wanderer

Sixarms is are six armed entities that you can encounter throughout the Backrooms. They are sometimes considered to be an extremely hostile variant of the Faceling, though this has been contested, as they are only vaguely humanoid in appearance.

Description

Sixarms have been described as only vaguely humanoid creatures; shambling masses of arms and legs that seem to end in sharp, insect like appendages which they use to impale their victims' multiple times until they are subdued. Despite being called Sixarms, the number of limbs these entities possess have been documented to be upwards of 16, though the exact limit has yet to be determined.

The heads of Sixarms are completely round and featureless apart from 2 black eyes that shimmer in the darkness, and have been described as being uncannily smaller than a human head. These heads are considered to be the most vulnerable parts of their bodies, as striking them just once on the head has a high chance of neutralizing a Sixarms. However, due to their average height of 7ft tall when fully upright, striking these creatures on the head can be a difficult task unless they are taken by ambush. Some people have reported seeing "baby" Sixarms, indicating that the creature might be able to asexually reproduce, though these claims remain unconfirmed.

Behavior

Sixarms are infamous for their tendency to hide within dark, cramped spaces and behind locked doors. They have been known to wait for hours or even days within these spaces, remaining nearly entirely motionless until stumbled upon by some unwitting wanderer, at which point they will spring into action and impale you with their multiple limbs until you are incapacitated.

Once their prey has been subdued the Sixarm will use its remaining limbs to tear a hole into the nearest wall and crawl inside it, dragging you along with it. These tears are known to close only seconds after a Sixarm has passed through it, making retrieval of victims nearly impossible past this point, though it is speculated that these holes may serve are temporary portals to other levels of the Backrooms.

Sixarms also display an absolute hatred and aversion towards light and light sources of any kind, preferring to lurk in cramped, dimly lit levels like Level 143, Level 203, and Level 563.

Encounters with Wall Worms

It has been discovered that Sixarms will engage in the predation of Wall Worms when they are encountered, and will actively seek them out on Level 563. On several occasions, Wanderers have reported witnessing a Sixarms burrow a hole through a wall or ceiling and chase down a nearby Wall Worm. Sixarms are able to quickly disable most variants of Wall Worm by piercing them through the skin and striking directly at their engine cores. Due to this ability, Sixarms are currently being considered for their potential to prevent Wall Worm infestations on other levels, though so far they have proven incapable of being trained.

Discovery

Sixarms were considered for a long time to be just a myth within the Backrooms, its existence discounted due to the hallucinatory effects the Backrooms tend to have on the beleaguered minds of those trapped within it. It wasn't until 2016 when a team of wanderers managed to document the behavior of the creature living within the corridors of Level 143 that the existence of the creature was recognized by the larger community.
