Description

Sun is an entity that is docile to wanderers. Sun is similar to the Sun in The Frontrooms, but with some alterations to make it suitable for wanderers to stay extremely close to it. It has a warmth surrounding it, and wanderers will feel quite comfortable around it.

Behavior

Sun will not hurt wanderers under any circumstances, even if they provoke it.It usually hides in corners of a room, but it's possible for it to actively try and find wanderers to interact with. Wanderers also can tame it if they interact with it for over 10 minutes. Once it's tamed, it will provide wanderers with almond water every once in a while, and will bring wanderers to a safe level as long as they return a bottle of almond water that it provided even if it's empty.

Biology

Sun looks like a miniature version of the Sun in The Frontrooms, but it has eyes.It is not as bright, but it might cause eyestrain if wanderers stare at it for too long.Again, there is a warmth surrounding it. If you are interested in space, Sun is a great replica of the Sun in The Frontrooms .They re practically the same, except for the fact of being unable to live without it. Unlike the sun from The Frontrooms though they have a lifespan of 100 years only. After they die a white hole appears and 3 bottles of almond water and a mini sun sculpture will be thrown out of the white hole.

Inability to Reproducing

Sun is nearly extinct(potentially due to it's 100 year lifespan), and can only be found on Level 1011101.Although Sun can take wanderers to other levels, it only stays at Level 1011101.The reason Sun refuses to leave this level is unknown, but there are some theories about it.

Theory 1

Since Sun is docile to wanderers(and will assist wanderers under any circumstances), it has been hypothesised that they used to travel to different Levels of the Backrooms to help wanderers if needed. They would use their 100 year lifespan for helping wanderers only, and not try to find a way to reproduce more versions of themselves.Leading down until there is only 1 Sun left, who refuses to leave Level 1011101.How the Sun in Level 1011101 still remains alive to this day is unknown.

Theory 2

  • This theory uses some logic from Theory 1.

What if Suns didn't actually have a 100-year-only lifespan?Instead of dying because of their biology, some think that it's because they mostly died from protecting wanderers from harmful entities. After all, there really isn't a way to prove that it's lifespan is only 100 years.Suns look nearly identical to each other and you couldn't tell if they switched places while documenting its lifespan. Some think that Suns use almond water to stay alive for longer, which could be why they have so much almond water. That can also explain why the Sun in Level 1011101 is still alive.
