M.E.G. Notice: Due to the fact that this entity has been recently discovered not much is known about it.

Entity Number: 124
Habitat: The Metro

Description

The Conductor is an entity inhabiting the Metro . They are a neutral entity who physically resembles a child wearing a navy-blue conductor uniform. As the only one of it's own kind, they are responsible for conducting the train and it's cameras in their only habitat. It is also shown that the Conductor is armed, and carries a silver ceremonial blade, capable of severe mutilation, or death of said individual who provoked it.

Behaviour

The Conductor is known for answering every single question given to them. Asking for difficult, ambiguous or relative questions however will result in the Conductor answering "Sorry that's not possible to answer" or something similar, or rarely, not replying at all. This entity becomes hostile once they are attacked or once the train is vandalized/damaged over a certain degree. The Conductor likes to talk about trains, specifically about steam engines and passenger trains.

Biology

This entity resembles the figure of a humanoid child around 10 years old, with its face blurred out through some sort of hypnosis generated by the entity when looking directly at it. The physical age of the entity has been determined to be around 10, but this has not been proven to be the case 100% of the time. It appears that this entity is stuck in an age loop; once they reach 12 years of age, they go back to being 10 years old. There is also an account of a wanderer describing the conductor as "Not human at all, just a shadowy figure staring at [wanderer]'s soul, I hastely exited the train soon after."

The Conductor, despite the look of their physical age, is in fact incredibly strong and agile, being capable of running at speeds beyond what a normal eye would be capable of keeping track of for a short duration of time. Due to their incredibly fast regeneration, this entity is, without further research, immortal. In theory, however, if the Conductor was to actually be killed, it is speculated that it would be capable of re-manifesting from death, as other entities with similar regenerative abilities has been seen able to revive themselves.

Discovery

The Conductor was first sighted by accident in the Metro, presumably a very long time ago, however it has only been documented recently. This entity can easily be found in the trains of the Metro.

Words has been spreading around that the Conductor's first recorded discovery was when an unknown group of individuals was spotted by wanderers severely damaging a steam engine that just arrived at a station, when a shadowy figure appeared in front of them out of nowhere. The hostile group stabbed the figure with an unknown sharp instrument, when a silver flash shined across the station. Recounts of what happened after differed, but every passing observer that witnessed the moment agreed that that the result was the complete annihilation of the vandalizers, with cleans streaks of blood on the floor as well as the station pillars.

Attempts to find the scene of the streaks of blood in the same station remained inconclusive.

Archived Log: Questions and Answers with the Conductor

This log has been compiled by M.E.G. researchers to get to known better the Conductor, but also to try and find out more useful information about the Backrooms. This was recorded when they encountered the conductor, whom appeared out of thin air in the middle of the station when an old steam locomotive arrived in a station located in level 11.

<Commence>

Researcher Walter Williams: Hello, are you the Conductor?

The Conductor: That is correct, sir.

Researcher Walter Williams: Do you mind answering some questions?

The Conductor: Absolutely not.

Researcher Walter Williams: Okay, good, so let me start by asking you: how can I leave the Backrooms?

The Conductor: Sorry, but the answer to that is beyond my knowledge.

Researcher Walter Williams: That is fine... may I ask you then, what are the Backrooms?

The Conductor: Sorry, I cannot give you a proper answer.

Researcher Walter Williams: No problem. Do you happen to know Entity 1964?

The Conductor: Yes, the Mustang which childishly rams into buildings, not caring about anything in sight whilst cussing out immaturely at everything around it? Yes I've known it. It is a good vehicle with a bad reputation of causing destruction wherever it goes, I would not recommend going near it.

Researcher Walter Williams: Thank you for your time.

The Conductor: No problem.
