Appearance

The confession room has a dark background with only a confession booth. Inside there are 2 chalices. The chalice on the left is filled to the brim with almond water. The chalice on the right is merely a cup of liquid pain. Upon entering you must kneel, otherwise you will be hit with sleeping gas and will eventually end up inside of level 6. Upon kneeling, a bright light will appear containing a humanoid figure which would be an entity within the light. Looking at the light for too long will cause you to be permanently blind making it almost impossible to survive within the backrooms.

Description

The Confession Booth's appearance

When the light activates, a voice will be heard. There are 2 words that can be heard. The first word would be "Sinner". Once heard, the curtain you went through will have been turned into a wooden door. The door will have been locked trapping you. You cannot break the Confession booth therefore you must meet the voice's demands. The voice will tell you to consume the liquid pain in the right chalice. If you attempt to consume the almond water, you will be impaled by a spike causing an instantaneous death. Consuming the liquid pain will cause the usual effects liquid pain would have, except that it won't kill you. After going through all of the effects of liquid pain, you will be transported into level 0, but your supply will have been tripled making this very useful. The other word that can rarely be heard would be "Worthy". After hearing this, you will be told to consume the almond water. If you attempt to consume the liquid pain, vice versa. After consuming the almond water, you will be transported to level 11. Your supplies won't be tripled, but it will be doubled considering the fate that has been chosen is less harsh. You will not be able to enter this room again, even in an accidental noclip. This is a one-time event.
A rumor was told that if you stay within the confession room for 10 hours, everything in sight will vanish away. Everything will become more and more transparent until you end up within The Void. Don't stay in this level for too long.

Entrances and Exits

Entrances

  • Noclipping through a room
  • Accidental Noclip
  • Theorized to be in The Void if you travel far enough, but no evidence supports the theory and most likely not true.

Exits

  • Meeting the demands of the voice within the confession booth and re-entering level 0
  • Not kneeling and being transported to level 6 (Don't do this).


Colonies and Outposts

There are currently none discovered, but the terrain is infinite, so an outpost can possibly be discovered. Survivors have claimed to have seen a sign read as the following, "The Exit Is This Way!", the survivors who had seen this haven't been found or reached out to making it unwise to follow the path of the sign.
