After careful consideration involving Kauer Research Base and Outpost in accordance with an allotted majority vote, an explanation has been formed regarding the state of abnormality of the Backrooms. This explanation is based off of Hegelian idealistic philosophies from the early 1800's. In short, it has been theorized that the existence of the Backrooms is - in short - a spatial anomaly. It should not exist, nor does it want to. It is a remainder of previous projects - leftover code, creating a randomized dimension of no bounds, all of which following a simplistic pattern of architecture. Of course, “code” does not refer to a program in the traditional sense; rather, the Backrooms are an illusory tulpa, formed solely from the belief of the human conscious. The existence of the Backrooms is a result of the belief in it: a self-fulfilling prophecy of sorts; an anomaly created from the minds of countless, being forced into reality by those who believe in it. It is highly possible the Backrooms may not have existed before the acclaimed post pitched the idea on 4chan.org in 2018. However, as a result of its exposure as well as the increasing belief of its presence, the Backrooms may have been formed, consequently spreading the idea that it was pre-existing, fulfilling the paradox of its original posting.
