Description
The Maintenance Man is a sentient entity similar to the Electrospectre, with several notable differences, mainly full human intelligence. He can teleport using live wiring (power or telecom), can manipulate electronics to a certain extent, and can see the backrooms in full non-euclydian 3D and 4D when he wants to. When in the wiring he can see a 4D tesseract like backrooms map while traveling.
Behaviors
The Maintenance Man is generally passive aggressive. He will not attack unless angered. As his name implies, he's usually seen fixing and maintaining machinery in the backrooms. Being a sentient being of human intelligence, he can carry on full conversations and participate in human entertainment, though usually he minds his own business and beyond greeting passerby's that manage to spot him, does not engage with wanders unless "on break". However, he will become aggressive if attacked, or if you are needlessly vandalizing any part of the backrooms he has access to.
Attacks: If you do manage to anger him, he can summon tremendous amounts of electricity enough to cause large lightning bolts. He can also resort to physical attacks if necessary.
Survival: If you are unfortunate enough to anger The Maintenance Man, an Electricity Protection Suit/Faraday Suit/Lineman suit can offer some protection against electric attacks and getting as far away from any hardwired sources of electricity as possible is your best bet. He may leave you alone after awhile of evasion. However, given he's a creature of humanlike intelligence, his determination in killing someone can vary per situation.
Biology
The Maintenance Man is a creature that can change forms between physical and energy. His appearance is usually that of a man wearing various construction/worker uniforms, however this is a façade/illusion. Cameras (film or electronic) or other imaging machines can see right through it to his true form which is similar to that of the Electrospectre with a few difference such as blue glowing eyes and a lack of a constant grin.
It is unknown whether his 4D abilities are just superficial or if he's actually a 4D being.
Discovery/Creation
This entity was once a human wanderer that was mysteriously transformed after being knocked out by an electric shock trying to leave The Server Room. He does not remember (or more likely deliberately forgotten) his life before the backrooms. He does not willingly talk about it either.
Additional Info
Personality
The Maintence Man is generally friendly and has a sense of humor. He likes to talk about machines and joke around, sometimes spinning wild tales about rediculous levels that are obviously a joke. Typically the best place to chat with him is on safe levels such as 6.1 or 3999.
While he does occasionally kill, he still has empathy for human life and is more likely to spare those who are kind, a child, disabled (either mentally or physically), exc. Although he seems to have the ability to somewhat read minds or at least emotions, so he can tell if you are lying so do not use any bad excuses.
He appears to be friends with The Conductor.
Additional Abilities
He seems to be able to play any any instrument with electronics, sometimes without touching them or in the case of theramins, just looking (though he generally uses his hands). In addition, he can play music/recorded sounds through his mouth like a speaker and his singing sounds "too perfect" like it's being autotuned.
