The Intro
Well hello there, in this file we will be talking about a disorder that has been inclining at a very alarming rate, it is known as “The Partygoer Paradox” or “Double P” for short. This has affected thousands of children around the age of 8 to 15. They act like the fictional character from the hit website Fandom. It originates from a sub-fandom called The Backrooms. The Backrooms is about an alternate universe called, well, The Backrooms, which is supposedly entered by no clipping through a wall or another form. It is said to hold many creatures, or known by the fan base as “Entities”. One of these entities is the subject of this document, called “The Partygoers”. They are tall figures with a smile made of a similar substance to blood, and hold a balloon, they are also taller than the average male human. Children have recently found out of them and seem to take too much of a liking to them, causing them to behave the same exact way as them, which will be touched based on here very soon. The Cause
As children are exposed to the internet more and more, the website “Fandom” has become more popular as of recent times, but recently a trend, known as “Liminal” or "Liminal spaces" has appeared on the internet and become more popular to others due to "The feeling of wanting to reach into the picture and be there". It acts as a comfort image, or serves as nostalgia to people viewing these images, reminding them of “happier times”. But there also have been more severe cases, to the point where a victim lost his mind after seeing a liminal space. The Backrooms tends to feed off of that feeling, and uses it to its advantage. Children seem to take notice of these "Liminal" spaces, and so have taken interest in the backrooms. But some seem to take interest in the entities more, and especially The Partygoers talked about before. These entities live in a base called “Level Fun” and are associated with having fun or parties, but use that behavior to trick people into thinking it's safe, and due to them supposedly being smart and able to edit pages, children have decided to "roleplay" or act as them, but with some cost. The reason why people find such interest in liminality is understood, but the reason for children to roleplay on a site where you must be 13 years or older is rather unknown. Some suspect that the reasoning behind this is because it reminds them of having fun, or fun times. After all, they seem to be representing fun, but this theory is unconfirmed. Another theory is that they are bored and wanted to find something to be as, or rather "act" as. But this is unlikely. The way children are affected is very, very concerning. If this keeps spreading, we might have to declare a state of emergency.
The Effects
The affected individuals will go on the internet acting and only acting as them, saying things only like “Level Fun is safe” or “We won't hurt you” or “Us partygoers are safe”. It should also be noted that they end their messages and comments with a smile face at the end, since it is a signature of The Partygoers to do that. Severe cases lead them into fully acting as one in real life, leading them to be failures. If they go into that stage, they cannot be fixed, no matter what. There are 3 stages, which will be explained on further.
Stage 1: The affected individual will start to become addicted to Partygoer-related items and internet posts. They will also make internet posts posing as a Partygoer and mostly talk about Partygoers only. Though they will still talk about other things, and they will not act like one in real life until stage 2
Stage 2: They will talk about Partygoers all the time, and Partygoers only. They will be obsessed with Partygoer related items, such as balloons and red-colored items. They will start acting liking a Partygoer in real life as well, but will still not lose all of their sanity. They will start to speak in a high-pitched voice in real life, and their IQ level will drop by 10-30%.
Stage 3: They are lost, they cannot be brought back. They have lost most of their intelligence, just enough to say Partygoer related speech, stand and walk, and fully act like a Partygoer. They will forever keep a smile on their face, never changing their emotion. This will cause their parents to be extremely distressed.

Conclusion
Multiple government agencies have taken notice of this potential virus, and are working on reducing the numbers of affected individuals. There was also a cure that was created by fizzer in late 2021, as they were contacted about the situation. Unfortunately, it can only cure stage 1 and 2 members barely, and has been proven to be inconsistent in test results, as side effects can include cancer, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, flu, black plague, and more.
There have also been cases of adults over the age of 18 becoming infected. Because of this, multiple governments have considered a potential national alert to be requested, but this has not been confirmed. Our spy beetles will be spying on certain affected individuals, and gathering more information on this infection.
