The Potatorooms


If you are not careful and no-clip out of reality in the wrong areas you'll end up in The Potatorooms where there is nothing but the stink of old moldy potatoes, the mashed potato covered spaces, the madness of potato skin, the endless background noise of potatoes mashing at maximum mash, and approximately six hundred million square miles of randomly segmented potato fields to be trapped in. God save you if you felt something because it sure as hell felt you.

Level 0 "The Field of potatoes"

Level 0 also known as "The field of potatoes" is the 1st level of the Potatorooms. It resembles a field maze made entirely out of giant potato crops, these potatoes unfortunately are unsafe for consumption. This level consists of different types of potatoes such as: raw potatoes, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, potato curry, etc. There is no day and night cycle and the level is always stuck in daytime and there is no sign of any barns either. There will be a constant noise of the crops rattling and splotching all over the place, staying in here for long can cause you to hallucinate and drain your potatoness, if you have lost all your potatoness you will become a Dulltato. Throughout the level, small sheds can be found in which supplies such as Potato Water, rakes, Pesteside, an in rare cases, a tractor.

Entities

There is only one known entity in level 0: Monstato.

Monstato:

A mysterious but aggressive entity that lives in level 0 only, chasing unsuspecting wanderers at high speeds letting out a loud wail.

Colonies and Outposts

There are no known colonies or outpost in level 0 at the time.

Entrances and Exits:

Entrances:

  • No-clipping out of The Frontrooms has a 0.025% chance of sending you here instead.
  • Grow and eat 50 lbs of potatoes through any method in Level 10 to be sent here.
  • Run POTATO.exe in The End's computer to faint and wake up here.

Exits:

  • No-clip to a crop to be taken to level 1.
  • If you find a potato that seems out of place, touch it to be taken to level 1.

Level 1 "Raining Potatoes"

Level 1 also known as "Raining Potatoes" is the 2nd level of the Potatorooms. This level appears to be an infinite suburbs made out of potatoes. The clouds that are made out of potatoes will start raining potatoes constantly and non-stop all over the place. If you don't escape the level soon, the whole level will be flooded with potatoes drowning due lack of air and too many potatoes and will crush you due to high potato pressure. Hiding in building for shelter will not work as once the level floods, the high pressure will crush the building along with you.

Entities:

There are a few entities on this level: PotatoHeads, Dulltatoes, Potatolings, Predatoes

PotatoHeads:

Potatoheads are pack-based predators that stand on 2 roots. They are highly aggressive and will attack you by throwing potatoes at you. They can be stunned by staring at them.

Dulltatoes:

Dulltatoes are zombie-like potato monsters that will appear rotten and attack you by pouncing on you and eating you. If you loose all your potatoness you will become a dulltato.

Potatolings:

Potatolings are pack-based predators that stand on 4 roots and have a giant maw in front of them that they will use to kill you. They lurk in darkness and are extremely difficult to kill.

Predatoes:

Predatoes are mysterious entities that sneak up on their prey without make a single sound making it impossible to detect them. They then pounce their prey and devour them.

Colonies and Outposts:

Due to the nature of level 2, making colonies or outpost is impossible.

Entrances and Exits:

Entrances:

  • No-clip through level 1 to be taken here.
  • No-clipping out of The Frontrooms has a 0.0001% of bringing you here instead.

Exit:

  • Find and enter a hidden bunker where you will find a giant potato. Take a bite out of the potato to be taken to level 3.
  • Find and enter a building that seems out of place for a 25% to be taken to Level 11 (Backrooms).
  • Find and dive in a pool of mashed potatoes to be taken to Level 3

Level 2 "Potato Land"

Level 2 also known as "Potato Land" is the 3rd level of the Potatorooms. Level 2 appears to be an amusement park but entirely with potato rides, some rides on level 2 include: potato roller coaster. potato haunted house, potato carousel, potato drop tower, even potato pools. Some games in level 2 include: whack-a-tato, potato bobbing, toss a potato, potato dunk, etc. After some time in level 2, an entity named Mr. Potato will appear out of nowhere and invite you to his show in the hall. Attending the show is compulsory as if you come too early, too late, or don't show up Mr. Potato will kill you. Each person will be given the time and location to the hall at which they must arrive at.

Entities:

There are only a few entities that reside on this level: PotatoHeads, Dulltatoes, Mr. Potato themselves.

Mr. Potato:

Mr. Potato is a star of his show and possible the president on level 2. He will invite you to his show and you must attend it because if you don't attend it, come late or early, Mr. Potato will kill you.

Colonies and Outpost:

The Park Strollers

The park strollers consist of 10 people, they roam around level 2 looking for lost and confused wanderers. They are not willing to trade but willing to help wanderers survive and escape.

Entrances and Exits:

Entrances:

  • Find and enter a bunker in Level 1 where you will find a giant potato, take a bite out of the potato to be taken here.

Exits:

  • Attend Mr. Potato's show and he will take you to level 3.
  • Attend Mr. Potato's show late and if he feels generous he will send you to Level 2 (Backrooms).
  • Attend Mr. Potato's show early and if he feels generous, he might send you to Level 4 (Backrooms) or Level 11 (Backrooms).

Level 3 "Sea of Potatoes"

Level 3 is the 4th level of the Potatorooms. It appears to be an endless sea made of mashed potatoes to swim in. The sea appears to be endless in both width and depth. The mashed potatoes on the surface are safe for consumption however, the deeper you go the more toxic and unsafe for consumption. The sea has been divided into 4 sections. The Daylight Zone, The Twilight Zone, Midnight Zone, and Trench Zone. The daylight zone is where you will spawn, it is the top most layer and has edible mashed potatoes. The twilight zone is the second most top layer with dim lighting as it is further away from the sky. It has edible mashed potatoes but they are as healthy as junk food. The midnight zone is dark with poisonous mashed potatoes. It is not recommended to go this deep as the pressure is high and this zone is home to The Potatoness Monster, a level exclusive entity. The trench zone should be avoided at all costs as it is extremely dark, the pressure is too high for even the strongest of machines, also this zone is home to many undiscovered violent entities that could eat you alive.

There only one known entity on this level: The Potatoness Monster

The Potatoness Monster:

The Potatoness Monster is a level exclusive entity of level 3 that lives in the Midnight Zone of the level. This entity feeds of Dulltatoes. If a wanderer encounters The Potatoness Monster, it will drain all that wanderer's Potatoness, turning it into a Dulltato and devouring it.

Colonies and Outposts

The Life Guards

The life Guards are a group of 20 people that swim around all documented spawn areas waiting for unsuspecting wanderers to drop in so they can help them. They are open for trade and allow new members.

P.O.T.A.T.O Divers

The P.O.T.A.T.O Divers is a colony of 60 people living on a remote island. They send highly advanced drones to explore deep under the mashed potato sea to see if they find anything new and learn about this level and possibly its origin. They have a theory that this level is a mashed potato storage to all of the Potatorooms. They are only willing to trade for rare objects found in the level and allow new members.

Entrances:

  • Attend Mr. Potato's Show in Level 2 for him to send you here.
  • Find and dive in a pool of mashed potatoes in Level 1 to be taken here.

Exits:

  • Find and enter a cave system in the twilight zone to enter level 4.
  • Find and touch regular water in the daylight zone to be taken to level 7 (Backrooms).
