Description
The Snowrooms are a presumably infinite complex of identical 5 meter x 5 meter long concrete rooms with a metal door in the center of each wall. All the walls have markings on them denoting their height but it is impossible to see how far up they extend even with a torch. There is a fluorescent lightbulb hanging in the center of each room with the cable also extending further up into the darkness than is visible. Snow falls into the rooms from above at differing rates, the slowest recorded being a centimeter an hour and the fastest being 2.4 meters per hour. Speakers are placed in the corner of each room that play distorted christmas music, radio static and announce purge events. Purge events are triggered by the snow reaching the 1.5 meter mark on the wall of the room. During a purge event, the speakers in the room will count down from ten and upon the voice reaching zero, the entire floor of the room will swing away, dumping the snow and any unfortunate wanderers into a black pit with no visible bottom. After seven seconds the floor will be pressed back into place by some sort of hydraulics system and the snow will begin to build up again. Tampering with the objects within the rooms such as the lightbulbs, the speakers, or the door or trapdoor floor can result in a mass purge event this involves a twenty second countdown and the opening of all trapdoors (it is unknown whether all the trapdoors in the level open or just the ones in a large radius around the triggerer of the event). There are unconfirmed reports of wanderers finding tracks or footprints in the snow, but as there have been no actual entity sightings the level will remain designated as devoid of entities.
Colonies and Outposts
Due to the purge events it is extremely difficult and inadvisable to set up a base on this level and as such there are none.
Entrances and Exits
Entrances
- In any level with snow, falling into a snow drift may transport you to this level.
- Find and climb onto an ice sheet in level 4000 and you will become disorientated and wake up here.
- Fall off a planet and no-clip through a Blue Mite in Level 129304839 to get here.
Exits
- Going through twenty doors in a straight line will result in the twenty-first door leading to Level 7.
- Falling into the pit during a purge event will transport you to an as of yet undetermined location; all wanderers who previously met this fate have failed to return to their respective colony ot outpost.
- Scaling the sheer concrete walls is rumoured to eventually lead to The Frontrooms but this is most likely pure speculation and hearsay.
- By no-clipping through snow there's a 28% chance you end up in Level 92.

"This is Andrew and Charlie of the M.E.G. starting our recording as we've discovered a new level, it seems to be a bunch of identical concrete walls in a big grid that go up further than we can see, theres a lightbulb hanging in the middle of each room so there must be some sort of ceiling up there" "But it's snowing" "It is also snowing yes, thanks Andrew. The floors are some kind of metal and there are speakers in each room with either static playing or jingle bells on loop" "There have been other Christmas songs, too." "This is us again, the room we were just in had snow up to about maybe 5 foot deep and as we pushed through, the speaker said something like: capacity reached, starting something or other" "Purge cycle" "Yeah that was it, starting purge cycle. Then the voice started counting down from ten so we got out of there sharpish and stopped in the next room only to look back and see the entire damn floor swinging away, dumping the snow in some kinda pit, before clanking back into place. We're gonna retrace our steps and look for the nearest exit." |

"Is this- how do I- uh, hello, this is Andrew; I'm on my own now. Charlie got pissed at the speakers on their 15th rendition of "Jingle Bells" and smashed one with his crowbar." *Faint sob* "C'mon Andrew, pull yourself together." "Then the speaker said: damage detected, starting mass purge and counted down from twenty, we ran to the next room and the next but all the speakers were counting, and Charlie got caught in the middle of a room when they got to zero and he fell, screaming all the way. I only survived because i grabbed a door handle and managed to hold on" *Andrew's panicked breaths begin to slow* "Ok" *Long pause* "I'm ok." "I'm going to return to the outpost and report back to James, he'll sort it all out and it's going to be fine." |
