You'll end yourself in The Southrooms if you're not careful and no-clip out of the backrooms in the wrong places. This is where everything goes wrong; there's no way things will ever be the same again.

Description

The Southrooms is a perilous set of levels with a slim chance of survival, and unlike the backrooms, you can't no-clip through them. If you do make it out alive, consider yourselves fortunate. There are five primary levels and one unconfirmed level in The Southrooms. Each level is hazardous in its own manner, both physically and mentally. It is not recommended that you enter this section of the backrooms, and if you do, may God help your soul.

Level 1

Survival Difficulty: Class 4e - Environmental
》Unsafe
》Unsecure
》Several Non-Entity Hazards

The Southrooms' first level is a house that gradually evolves into a school corridor, with the entire color scheme being grayscale. This level is mentally hazardous since the constant sight of grayscale is enough to drive anyone nuts, which is why it contains insanities. While the exact extent of the level is uncertain, it is estimated to be around 20 miles long. Finding an area that isn't bathed in grey is the only way to get out of this level.

Entrances and Exits

Entrances
  • No-clipping out of the backrooms will give you a rare chance of ending up here.
Exits
  • Finding an area that isn't in grayscale will take you to Level 2

Level 2

Survival Difficulty: Class 2
》Unsafe
》Secure
》Low Entity Count

Level 2 is The Southrooms' second level, and it's an empty parking garage with lights that switch off every three seconds. Big is a creature found on Level 2. Big is a massive creature that crawls down the corridor at breakneck speed in order to get its prey. When you enter the level, you and the creature are already 5 miles away, so you get a head start, if you want to call it that. Big can crawl through the garage at speeds of over 8 mph, which is impressive given the level's size. Big (and this level) can only be escaped by finding daylight, which will send you to Level 3.

Level 3

Survival Difficulty: Class 4
》Unsafe
》Unsecure
》High Entity Count

The Southrooms' Level 3 is the third level. Level 3 is a forest that appears to go on forever in the East and West, but just 14 miles in the north and south. The only way to tell if you're on the right track is to look at the number of entities that appear. You're on the correct track if fewer than 12 creatures spawn, but you're on the wrong track if more than 12 entities spawn. The north/south path will always lead you to a Level 4 settlement. This Level contains no foreign entities.

Entrances and Exits

Entrances
  • Finding daylight in Level 2 will take you here.

  • Finding a village will take you to Level 4

Level 4

Survival Difficulty: Class 3
》Unsafe
》Unsecure
》Moderate Entity Count

The Southrooms' Level 4 is the fourth level. Level 4 contains a small settlement populated by facelings. These facelings act like regular people and aren't hostile until they're provoked. Other entities are defended by the facelings in their town. The only way out of this level is to fall through a hole in one of the houses, which will transport you to Level 5.

Entrances and Exits
