We are The Voidpeople, the only ones that will ever exist in our territory and our lord, 'The Void', a being of endless dimensions of darkness and emptiness. We are native to The Void, as it guided us into its territory and spared us from its wrath, and we praise and worship it because of that. Our appearances vary, and most of us are simply wandering black humanoids, though there are many exceptions. Thanks to our lord, it blessed us with abundant resources and allowed us to build and unite in a supercivilisation. Compared to all other universes, our technology has always been ahead of the curve, and it is something ubiquitous to see throughout the city. We developed these technologies, which could create detailed universe-scale objects in a few hours, or destroy them as a result of another blessing the Void gave to our first ancestors: natural superintelligence. We sought and forced the evolution of our society, and our lord granted us this wish.
Another significant creation of ours is the Void Objects; our god, after it had been awoken, tasked and helped us with the development of the Void Objects, one of our territory's only natural creations. Our lord, additionally, proposed this for us as a blessing to strengthen us and our kingdom. For the first object, universe-like matter was let into our world and showed us universe-like beauty; Void Object 1 was proposed as our ultimate starting ground. Void Object 2 was proposed primarily for traveling and transporting. After worshipping and praising were heightened due to the 2 mentioned Void Objects, it created Void Object 4, meant to let us communicate and be united into the super civilisation we know today. These are referred to as 'our blessings'.
Gifted from The Void, we are immortal beings. Life and death do not exist within our land. All existing species are inferior to us, for we have super-intelligence, seemingly infinite energy, and no mental limit. While we may possess extreme power, our lord has plans for us beyond our current state that will grow us and our kingdom's power as a whole. So far, we have been tasked to study and learn some of the ways of the other dimensions and their primary topic of interest, or in simple terms, their dominating species; we have also been commanded to experiment with creating large abominations.
This 'study period' has gone over for multiple centuries, and because of that, our way of culture has been influenced by them because of their unique, organised manner. Because of them, we have developed our main language even further, and some of us even understand universe-originated languages, improving our translation technology. We know that their knowledge is the key to understanding other universes.
Our city spans 3 astronomical units in all directions in uncharted territory, hidden from creation. The architectural style is inspired primarily by the organised and linear nature of cities in some of the other universes. It is comprised mostly of study centers, monuments of worship, and residential buildings, but some rare buildings to see are universal studies (a more in depth study center focused on studying other universes; additionally, one can publish new info and findings here), observing centers (for observing other universes in more detailed quality and more control), transportation ports (for those allowed to travel to other universes), and management facilities (a loose form of government; mostly manages education fields). As mentioned above, we are allowed to access other universes only if we are allowed by our creator for studying purposes. We can not interact with anything or be seen by anyone. Rarely have there been lawbreakers, and this results in our lord's divine punishment falling upon them..
Our population is up in the quintillions for multiple reasons despite our inability to reproduce; the ancestors or the ancients were as a result of our god's creation, then, after we formed advanced enough technology, duplicating ourselves became very common, resulting in billions of us when duplicating first became popular. Most of the time, the case is that due to our lord's battle with creation, universe-beings have seeped through the empty gaps of their reality and ended up here as an accident; then, our god guides them and assimilates them into our civilisation. Eventually, they will either start to forget their universe's past or resent it.
REALITY []
Eventually, the web of lights, of galaxies, will fade; each universe one at a time.
Eventually, the lights will go out.
Eventually, the last objects, black holes, white dwarfs, even atoms, will get lost.
Eventually, everything is to the void; creation came with a permanent fate: that one day the seemingly eternal life of something, every star and every object along with it, will decay to our lord.
Even the endless war of creation will end and be taken by our lord.
We are simply the constant ones, the ones that are forever; the ones that have become one with fate itself.
This is the truth of reality.
