The gardens is a vast near infinite level been ripped straight from another dimension, a lot of it's inhabitants still here, may god have mercy on your soul if you run into one them or their leaders - survivor 1

description
A very small portion of the gardens
The gardens are a large level consisting of large well treated gardens and grand victorian style castles,
As soon as one enters The gardens it's very likely that they are to be swarmed by hive (the natural inhabitants of the gardens) and backrooms creatures alike, once you enter your best chance of survival is running for your life from the overwhelming swarm of impending entities, however if you do escape this level is pretty easy to set up camp on, the nutrient rich soil makes a good place for planting food, and the ever flowing purified water of the canals provide easy access to water.
Despite all this it is highly recommended to actively change spots due to the daily patrols and search parties around the area it is highly advised to avoid the castle for whats inside is almost certain death
There are small shrines scattered throughout the area, used as teleporters for the hive generally containing at least one high ranking hive units, generally knights, ogres, or acolytes. A lot of hive will generally be summoned upon activation, the way you activate it is by moving these small glowing white pyramids into the centre of the shrines.
Entrances, Exits, and Gateways
Despite the fact that the gardens were separated from it's original dimension all the gateways that were connected to the gardens are still active, despite the fact that the gateways are still active unless you reactivate it, things can only come out of it, they can be reactivated but it requires a few hard to obtain items all from high ranking hive units,
The gardens can be accessed through any level, but it's generally found in the centre of Level !, it's entrance is either a large portal, or a hole in the floor, these entrances can appear anywhere on any level and will randomly appear and disappear uncontrollably and has no currently known pattern for when and where it appears
The gateways generally lead to either some random world from their dimension, or to a hive ship. The main ship that most portals lead back to is the giant ship hovering in mars atmosphere, mars in this dimension is habitable due to some anomaly, so once you arrive it's recommended to immediately hijack a hive ship and pilot it down to the safe camps on mars, once your down your basically safe unless your followed.
inhabitants
Thralls
Thralls are considered the fodder enemies of the hive but are still very well respected amongst the hive for their pure overwhelming power in large hoards, if you see these try not to get noticed one they see you they will alert everything in a very large radius, which often means a couple dozen or couple hundred thralls will come barreling towards you at top speed and they chain these calls to so a very large radius hears the call and start homing towards you,
Thralls are strong in large numbers, but weak alone, take these on in large numbers at your peril, they use their sharp and long claws to maul their enemies, also the call can be heard by all hive units and they understand it, but not all can recreate it
Acolytes
Acolytes are generally the front line soldiers along with thralls having both a long range and melee attack, they are generally quite smart with a intelligence to match thralls, the intelligence is closest to the average university graduate (some but not all).
As of all creature the acolytes can be alerted by the call of a thrall, and they can relay the call itself, acolytes generally better with rifles than melee, the reason is in the next sentence
Acolytes generally use shredders or soul rifles, they can also wield boomer and splinter rifles, acolytes unlike thralls don't have very sharp or long claws thus they aren't as good at melee as thralls are because they aren't really built for that purpose, they have evolved to be more of a long ranged enemy.
Knights
Knights are the heavy infantry of the hive (heavy infantry not tanks, the tanks are the ogres), knights have the best of both the acolytes and the thralls, they are very strong and agile, they also are extremely good with long range combat.
Knights are generally seen as the elite soldiers of the hive, they have good intelligence like thralls and acolytes, and like the name implies they have a lot of honor to the hive.
The knights normally wield boomer or splinter rifles, but it's also extremely common for them to wield a form of sword (cleavers), they can dual wield the cleavers and rifles occasionally, and occasionally they can use shredder rifles. The knights can also summon a protecting indestructible shield (they truly are like knights), the shield can also heal a portion of it's health whilst they hide behind it, the only downside of this advantage is the shield renders the knight immobile until it gets rid of the shield.
Knights can also have an energy shield active similar to those of wizards or eliksni captains (no captains are seen in this world) this energy shield is quite strong and durable, the shield doesn't require any form of interaction to activate due to it being a full body automatic shield. The knight can hear and recreate the call of the thralls.
Wizards
Wizards as you'd expect from a name like that, are the magic users of the hive. They are also extremely religious figures to the hive, they also are the ones that sometimes plan the attacks, they can also create/upgrade a lot of hive units with rituals, the wizards as you'd expect are quite smart.
The wizard all basically have the same set of attacks, the only difference between these attack from wizard to wizard is the speed it is used , or the damage it does, but some more powerful wizards wield powerful do use custom/more powerful/higher ranking attacks. The attack set most wizards use is the following.
A lot if not all wizards come with these base attacks, one of the most simple is the darkness blast, which sends rapid fire balls of pure darkness at you which if they make contact with you, can do some serious damage, these balls of pure void do travel quite fast and are rapid fire so it's very difficult to dodge them, the wizards are also very fast themselves. Another very annoying attack they can do is summon a cloud of poison around you, that lingers in spot until it disappears, it can kill you very fast if you get stuck in it, it slows your movements, obstructs your vision, and absolutely siphons your life force if you wander in it to long.
All wizards are also equipped with a thermal energy shield instead of the arc shield the knights normally use (knights can use both arc and thermal shields though), these shields are generally very strong and take a lot of hits to destroy it. Wizards can hear the call of the thralls but can't recreate it.
ogres
Ogres are the tanks and battering rams of the hive, with them being able to take a lot of hits and deal a hell ton of damage. These enemies are EXTREMELY strong and will bludgeon you to death in moments. Ogres use a lot of melee centred attacks, and have one long range attack that utilises void energy.
Ogres are quite slow but its attack strength definitely makes up for that lack of speed. The ogres have the ability to send out massive rapid fire balls of pure void energy which manage to do the same if not more damage than the wizards void ball attack, these balls seem to be fired straight out of the ogres eyes (the amount of eyes it has is unknown), the way these balls are produced out of this creatures eyes is unknown. In the case that these creatures manage to get close to you, it will perform a ground slam attack crushing almost every single bone it's the victim's body. If this creature takes enough damage the creature will drop whatever it is doing (long range attack included) in order to melee you, it will make a mad dash straight towards you and go berserk.
The ogre is an example of the result of the previously mentioned rituals the wizards are performing. The ogres can either be created by the wizards from other hive units, or they can be made then stored away for re-summoning, the ogres do not seem to posses much intelligence as they are just massive tank built for destruction, like all other hive units the ogres can hear the call of a thrall but once again can't recreate it.
survivor report 1
outpost 1 - mars
Survivor was found gravely injured next to a hive ship, he was taken to emergency care to be healed, he successfully recovered, upon being asked how he managed to reach mars he replied with he came from this place called "the backrooms" apparently somehow a directed copy of the florescent canal from the hive throne world had managed to be transported to this place, once we asked him for a description of what "the backrooms" is he replied with "the backrooms is a area outside of reality, it's a infinite space consisting if different level with a variety of different entities" once the subject was questioned on how he survived the throne world (the gardens) he said that he managed to activate a portal, board the hive ship hovering in mar's atmosphere, and then hijack a hive ship to get back to mar's surface before we found him.
Subject was released into the tower and is currently settled in the city, we have easy access to him for further questioning on "the backrooms", further research will be put into this place, we have 2 more subject currently healing and being prepared for questioning
end report
survivor report 2
med bay - the last city
Survivor 2 has awoken, all damage healed. No permanent damage found, he is ready for questioning
Questioning report:
According to the survivor he had come from the same place as survivor 1 these "backrooms" we plan on using these survivors to further research this, the subject did mention that a member of the hive had nearly taking his arm off via hive cleaver. It is likely that this survivor came from the throne world to
survivor report 3
coming soon survivor is healing
survival tips
Here are some tips for surviving this place
- don't move those white pyramid things to the centre of those little shrines, they spawn so many things
- if you see something that looks like a purple or blue 3D octagonal objects, then pick up these normally dissolve and turn into either weapons with infinite ammo, weapons with limited ammo, or armour to help you survive
- if you see some rectangular boxes with purple or green in the centre, that's the ammo for the special weapons that don't have infinite ammo
- try not to fall off the ship if you make it out of the garden
