- 2.1 The tubes: Within Level 283, there are a number of Tubes, each having a round circular opening that Wanderers may crawl through. The Fortresses and Lounges are the most common places to find entrance tubes. These tubes range in diameter from 3 to 5 feet across, and they frequently lead to tube crossings or climbing portions that lead Wanders in vertical directions. The tubes' windows are entirely whited out and glowing, allowing natural light to flow through them. Window Entities have yet to be seen, despite the fact that they are said to exist at Level 283.
- 2.2 The pits: The Pits are massive, apparently unending ball pits that seem to stretch on forever. A fog is prevalent inside this area of Level 283 that inhibits the view of any Wanderer that enters The Pits, and may be seen off in the distance around 50 feet distant. One may theoretically cross this location using special equipment discovered in previous Levels, however the balls function like quicksand, and the more you walk around, the deeper you fall into The Pit. When a person reaches a certain point, the weight of the balls on top of them becomes too much for them to bear, and the victim below is crushed. In this section of Level 283, Clumps are the only recorded Entities, therefore proceed with caution.
- 2.3 Reclining areas: Because the Adult Facelings give a considerable level of protection and the resources found in The Lounges are numerous, The Lounges are the most friendly zones of Level 283. The Lounges have benches and booth chair tables, and each bench and booth chair table contains a stack of hamburgers with labelled wrappings identifying the type of burger. Some of the tables had mounds of french fries placed on top of plates in the centre, and some of the fry piles have hot melted cheese with bacon pieces on them. The Lounges have drink fountains as well as styrofoam cups and bowls. Once the fries and burger mounds have been replenished.
- 2.4 The Labyrinths: The Labyrinths are rubber-coated chain-link fence mazes with coloured foam padding around the perimeter. Wanderers can locate a variety of children's playground assets within these Labyrinths, including teeter-totters, swings, merry-go-rounds, hopscotch boards, tiny slides, monkey bars, and swing sets. Some of the walls in The Labyrinths are composed of solid plastic and are ornamented with bizarre architecture. The doors and windows on The Labyrinths' solid plastic walls are hilariously sized. Window Entities have not been recorded in Level 283, as noted in the section on The Tubes. Carnie and Child Faceling sightings are most likely in labyrinths. The Labyrinths may be accessed by the exit slides heading out of The Tubes or a curiously shaped multi-colored door that leads in and out of the Labyrinths.
- 2.5 The fortresses: The Fortresses are massive structures with a maximum documented height of 50 feet. These amusingly designed multi-colored multi-story stacked structures hold several rooms lit by odd multi-colored light bulbs. The Fortresses' entrances and exits are massive, operable 20-foot-wide-by-10-foot-high gates that can be dropped or raised using a circular plastic red button on the inside of the fortress. Some fortress gates are locked from the inside, rendering them inoperable. The Fortress Entrances and Exits lead to other areas of Level 283 such as The Pits, The Lounges, The Labyrinths, and The Tubes. The exit slides leading out of The Tubes appear to be the sole means to get access to impassable fortifications.

Description:
A photo of the play structure
Level 283 combines numerous different sorts of playgrounds into a one massive play structure. The 283 area contains numerous play tubes and claustrophobic little areas, as well as various castle-like constructions that reach up to 50 feet in height and seemingly endless ball pits that are uncertain whether or not they are safe. Level 283 has a lot of useful supplies, and the reclining area has a lot of drinks and food.
Within Level 283, you'll find Hounds, Smilers, Skin-Stealers, Wretches, Clumps, and both Child and Adult Facelings. This Level's faceling behaviour is highly rare, and it's worth noticing. Unless an Adult Faceling is present, Child Facelings will be their regular deadly and mischievous selves, in which case they will change their behaviour and try to be courteous to Wanderers. Adult Facelings are mainly found in pockets of Level 283 seated in booth chairs over tables, referred to as Lounges, though they have been seen traversing the mazes and strongholds on rare occasions. Any Adult Faceling within range will begin to defend a Child Faceling who is being physically attacked by a Wanderer or Entity.
Level 283 is also a habitat to its own entity called Carnies. They have a clown like appearance and come in multiple types.
Lankers, Puffers, Hacklers, Bubbas, Tricksters, Slumpies, Most are friendly, but can be dangerous at times.
