Level 6 is the 7th level of the Backrooms.
Description
Level 6 has a high light absorption rate; normal flashlights don’t work in this level, shrouding wanderers in almost complete darkness.
For the exploration of Level 6, M.E.G. constructed a flashlight with over 5 million lumens; this flashlight can only shine a few feet in front of it and shut off after 7 seconds of max brightness.

David: “What are you doing? That flashlight isn’t going to do anything.” After the wanderer’s comment, I noticed the area my flashlight was pointed at getting very slightly lighter. George: “Hey guys! Check this out! The level got lighter when I turned on the light!” Tim: “Stop lying.” George: “I’m not lying! Look.” I repeatedly turned the light on and off, motioning them to look. David: “Hold on, I see a slight difference.” Tim: “Me too! How has nobody noticed this before?” David: “Because people aren’t as dumb as George.” |

Entrances and Exits
Entrances
- Going through the boiler room in Level 5 leads to this level.
- The other entrance is a rusted door located on 6.1.
Exits
- Tripping on a wire leads to Level 6.1. Intentionally tripping on a wire will not trigger this transportation.
- Take a spiral staircase down to Level 28.
- Enter a hole to get to Level 8.
- Wandering far enough will bring you to Level 7.
Wait, I think I see a light… a way out.
