Level -911 is the 911th negative level of the Backrooms.

Description

This image features the nave and sanctuary of Level -911. This image was taken by wanderer B.B.

Level -911 is the inside of a Catholic Church. Explorers will begin their journey in the nave or the main room of this church. The nave in Level -911 consists of 23 rows of pews. Each row of pews has a 'kneeler' so congregants may kneel during Mass. Mass in Level -911 is held at noon every seven days. The walls of Level -911 features 14 pictures called the Stations of The Void. Instead of these pictures featuring illustrations of Christ's crucifixion, they will feature the crucifixion of one of the following god-like entities: The Glitched Goddess, Mortis Abelson, Zalgo or Matea Lunea for reasons unknown. The sanctuary, which is the front of the church, consists of an altar (center), organ and pulpit (left), and lectern and confession booth (right but not visible in the image provided). The altar in Level -911 is constructed from an unknown species of oak tree. The altar is covered with an altar cloth consisting of Egyptian cotton and lit candles during Mass. The temperate inside Level -911 is ambient. The light/dark cycle is 12:12. This level is 'safe' as long as you do not do the following:

  1. Settle in this church for more than 3 days.
  2. Aggravate the 'nuns'.
  3. Use the confession booths (if you are a sinner or posing as the priest to listen in on confessions).

This image of Father Ignatius B. Vivaldi was taken by M.E.G. Junior Entities Investigators Melissa M. Heart. He requested that his image be taken below where his nose would be to avoid scaring reviewers of this documents.

Notable Entities

Father Ignatius B. Vivaldi

Father Ignatius B. Vivaldi is a false faceling with partial facial features. The only facial features he has is a mouth, while all other facial features are absent. He cannot speak, but he knows American Sign Language (ASL), can write messages to explorers and mouth words. He is the only priest present in Level -911.

This image features micro-expressions of common emotional states. This image was presented by M.E.G. Entities Investigators Henry K. Kilmore.

He appears as an adult between the ages of 30 - 35 years. He takes the form of a Caucasian male in a Catholic priest uniform. He has short blond hair and is clean-shaven. Again, the only facial feature he has is a mouth, so he uses his mouth to express his emotional state. (See the image for 'micro-expressions of common emotional states' provided.) He is usually friendly unless you are an unrepented sinner or upset his 'nuns'. Explorers can find him scrolling around the nave and sanctuary, coming in and out of the confession booths, interacting with his 'nuns' and/or other explorers, giving sermons via ASL and banishing someone from the church. It is not known what happens to people who get banished from the church. It is assumed you are lost to the 'environment' outside the church. What the environment looks like outside this church is unknown.

Conversing with Father Ignatius B. Vivaldi

Interviewer: Entities Investigators Henry K. Kilmore
Interviewee: Father Ignatius B. Vivaldi. (He is responding by writing messages in gold ink on parchment with a sky-blue gradient.)
Date: Undisclosed Sunday after Mass

Question 1: This is a Catholic Church, are all religions welcome?
Answer:
We are all loved by the creator. The creator loves us all but not our sin. Confess and repeat and you will be forgiven. Lie and commit more falsehoods and d*mned you shall be.
Notes: n/a

Question 2: What about Satanism?
Answer:
That is welcomed here too. The faith you keep does not make you a decent being. I have encountered my fair share of 'Good' Christians that I happily banished because they were not pure, nor did they repeat. They insist God will forgive them for their sins. What they do not understand is that they must earn forgiveness, not demand it or assume it was given.
Notes: n/a

Question 3: Who is the creator?
Answer:
Doing good is what matters. Loving one another is what matters. Having faith is what matters. We all perceptive the creator differently. Humanity created a barrier within itself focusing too much on who is 'right' and who is the creator and focusing less on hope, help and goodwill.
Notes: n/a

Question 4: This question is more personal. You are one of the few facelings that can effectively communicate with us. There is another facelings that can speak. His name Officer Atticus N. Wolfe. Do you know this facelings by any chance?
Answer:
I know him. He is serving justice to the deserving. His heart is in the right place. His soul troubled. He questions his place in reality.
Notes: M.E.G. Entities Investigators Henry K. Kilmore believes Father Ignatius B. Vivaldi might be related to Officer Atticus N. Wolfe from Level -50 but that is still under investigation.

Question 5: Another personal question if you do not mind me asking. Where did you recruit your nun?
Answer:
They are troubled girls from Level -222
Notes: See the section these nuns below.
