His Imperial Majesty, King August II Carrington, is the incumbent Impresario X and King of the Kingdom of Clarn.

Life

August Carrington was born a healthy male at 7:30 A.M on December 24, 1995, at the Imperial Palace of Clarn. He was delivered by the family doctor, Nicholas, who had delivered many royal children since 1958; at the time of delivery, Nicholas was 68 years old. August exhibited regular childhood behaviors; he tended to be very demanding. This, however, lasted throughout most of his childhood. At ten, August awaited the First's arrival in the Kingdom of Clarn; the diplomatic visits of 2005 occurred in every Impresario group. They brought forth the majority of the modern Impresario lines that have been established, such as Leslie Bernadotte's ascension as Impresario G. August was “crowned” as the next in the Impresario line of Clarn, with the event being televised to the entirety of Venar City.

August was baptized at the age of eleven as a Lutheran Christian, at one of the many chapels in the Imperial Palace. At the age of thirteen, August officiated a new hospital's opening in Venar, which many viewers applauded. This brought forth even greater popularity and fame to the Carrington Royal Family, which celebrated the event at a gala. Nevertheless, August, who started this era of popularity, was not allowed to attend the gala due to the presence of alcohol. Although he fought his parents over this, such was in vain. It was due to this that August went off script whilst giving a speech to a multitude of Clarnish people about a controversial law that had recently been passed.

The original transcript is as follows;

“I know that you have felt the pain of such a restriction before, and trust me, my family is on your side in this matter. Fear not, for the speech of the Carringtons is ultimate, and what we say is ultimately law. In time, this shall be eased, and there shall be a great celebration. I, on behalf of my family, and as my family have stated priorly, apologize; we apologize for the presence of a corrupt politician in our government. Long live the Kingdom of Clarn!”

August's "distortion" is as follows;

"I know that you have felt the pain of such a restriction before, and trust me, I have as well. Earlier this year, I brought great fame and great popularity to my family; such has, yes, been seen before, and will be seen for hopefully a thousand more years. Nevertheless, the gala thrown for this, which, might I add, should have been thrown in my name, I could not even attend. Anyways, where was I? Oh, yes. My family is on your side..." (the rest was on transcript.)

The aftershock of this was surprisingly small; although some criticized the ways of the Carringtons in not allowing August to attend something that he caused, the soon-to-be King had also forgiven his family. He later publicly announced this, even further diminishing anti-Carrington talk. This was confirmed even after the ascension of August II as King and Impresario.

At the age of fifteen, tragedy struck the Kingdom of Clarn as August's father, King Andrew Carrington, passed away. Following this, the protocol known as “Operation Coving” (named after the arch enemies of the Carringtons, the Covingtons,) was enacted; however, an error was made. The soon-to-be King was not notified of the death of his father, and was speaking to the public at the time; when informed, a tear fell from his eye and he left immediately. A cloud of controversy and mysteriousness fell around the family for several days until the public announcement of the death of the King; August gave this speech over television, which millions tuned into.

Before this speech, however, many theorized the death of a royal or an abdication that had taken place; the First, the leader of the Major Explorer Group, was present in the Imperial Palace of Clarn only hours after the King's death, and there were no scheduled visits until several years later.

The announcement is as follows:

“People of Clarn. As you know, not much has been heard from my family, the Carringtons, recently. I say such with the greatest regret, and I deeply apologise for my sudden vanishing several days ago in Venar. Nevertheless, I do believe that this was justified. My father, His Imperial Majesty, King Andrew Carrington, has passed on into the Kingdom of Heaven. I say with the greatest hope that I shall see him again, and that you may see him again as well. But, as of now, I must take charge; I am your new King.”

The late King Andrew died on a tour across the Kingdom of Clarn; his ship crashed, and he gave up his seat on a lifeboat for a child. He is remembered as one of the greatest and most selfless Monarchs in Clarnish history.
