NOTICE: WARNING: Due to the abilities of the Historian, we have allowed him to create an autobiographical section at the bottom of this page. Do not be led astray by the 1st-person pronouns used.

Description

The Historian, also known as the Reader, the Writer, and, rarely, the Bookmaster, a name which was unknowingly shared between the Storyteller and the Historian by some wanderers. The Historian has the ability to practically control and manipulate Level 33, his home; this includes the editing of the contents within the books, and even the basic layout of the level. Level 33 has topics such as the M.E.G displayed near its entrance because the Historian foretold the coming of the Major Explorer Group, and other groups. This led to him reorganizing a multitude of the Library, which took only several days.

Unlike his opposite, the Storyteller, the Historian does not wipe the memory of Wanderers that he encounters. Instead, he allows them to stay in Level 33, or aids them in finding another safe level. It is due to this that this page will likely have more confired content than that of the Storyteller; much more is known about the Historian.

This leads into the next property of the Historian; whilst the Storyteller wishes only to bring lies, the Historian is compelled to bring the truth. These act as a form of counterbalance, so that neither of the two can be omnipotent. Throughout history, both have desired to break this, allowing one to destroy the other. Nevertheless, as of present, the Historian is against this idea entirely, believing that it would bring about the end of the Libraries.
