Hello, if you are reading this, you probably came here to see the owner of The Backroom Colonists or found an old post of mine. I'm mostly leaving this fandom for multiple reasons stated below. Also below is some common questions I got that I'll answer about.

Why did you join in the first place?
I was into creepypastas and saw the Backrooms. Ever since then I tried joining any place, first the wiki dot and then an independent fandom before coming here. They were just too difficult to set up at the time with my busy work schedule and in my opinion, professional. When I first came here, it was pretty crazy but now it's pretty good.
Why do you plan to leave?
I've moved on from fandom, with this not even being my main fandom account anymore, it's been tiring working on it and there isn't much activity for me. If you actually check my posts and stuff you can slowly see me just fading in the background, from a prominent editor to just some person on the site. I'm not planning to leave exactly, but you probably only see a few edits a season from me if you're lucky.
What are you going to do now you left?
I've always said to myself that once I leave a few big commitments, I'll get a few new hobbies, go outside more and do more activities. Although, I'll just play Roblox and Minecraft with my friends for now.
What'll happen to the Backroom Colonists?
What I'm planning, nothing. Maybe I'll finish it and make it sustainable but not planning to. Originally, it was meant to be a power in between the gods of the Backrooms, (like P.E.A, O7, M.E.G, that Order group and a bunch more), and just the regular groups but on request, it was nerfed. I got rid of most of the things cause I couldn't edit and keep in demand. Plus it got griefed multiple times and never met the expectations of some of the modern groups nowadays and is simply an annoyance on most pages.
Ever going to come back if there's a change?
I might make a return but don't count on that as nobody notices my posts or community stuff anymore and while I like that and already like that in real life, I would want my return to be more grand if there is one.
I know it's sad for someone that I'll go, but all I ask for you to help me is to preserve the Backroom Colonists, and I want to thank everyone in the community for accepting me, at least for a bit.
