M.E.G. Weaponry is a unique class of Weapons and advanced offensive technology utilized by the tactical and military devisions of the Major Explorer Group.
Overview
The M.E.G. utilize a wide array of technology in their quest to better understand and make the Backrooms into a hospitable environment for all wanderers, this includes their in fighting off the hostile and often extremely powerful Entities that inhabit every corner of the infinite expanse of this sub-dimensional reality. The M.E.G. utilize powerful and high-tech weaponry to fend off entities and protect others, having created their own militarized task force, armed to the teeth in their specialized and often unique weaponry.
In 1927, core M.E.G. field researchers discovered a unique and versatile metal found in the Backrooms dubbed Vectorium that is noteworthy in it’s extreme durability and lightweight density but can be molded into anything via the use of super-heated plasma. The M.E.G. uses this metal in all of their technology and equipment today, including their gear, armor and versatile arsenal of weaponry used to defend against the endless array of hostile entities found within the Backrooms.

Melee
- Combat Knives - M.E.G. grade combat knives with ridged edges and blades made from the unique Metal founded by M.E.G. Founders, making the knives virtually indestructible and sharper than any other blade.
- Combat Shield & Baton - An M.E.G. grade riot shield of solid Vectorium with a bullet proof glass window paired with a an extendable Vectorium Baton. Said shield and baton can also extend metal spikes via switches on their respective handles.
- Exo-Gauntlets - M.E.G. grade, robotic gauntlets that drastically increases one’s striking and grasping force, allowing the user to deliver strikes scaling up to 130,000 PSI and crush a rock in their grip.
- Frostbite Prod - A shock baton-like weapon that uses liquid nitrogen to flash freeze entities solid upon making contact, making them brittle enough to shatter with a strong swing.
- Shock Baton - A sword-like baton with an electrified metal blade capable of generating electrical currents scaling up to 150 Million volts.
- Tactical Axe - A collapsible battle axe-like weapon with a blade sharp enough to slice through flesh and bone with a single swing.
- Vector Blade - A high-tech, katana-like sword capable of generating intense vibrations allowing the blade to slice through and subsequently shatter solid concrete and stone by using vectors to weaken an object’s molecular structure, allowing the user to slice through practically anything.
Ranged
- Assault Rifle - A high-powered, M.E.G. grade assault rifle capable of firing rounds in quick succession similarly to a military grade Colt AR-15.
- Automatic Shotgun - An M.E.G. grade firearm that fires bursts of shotgun rounds at a rapid-fire pace similarly to a semiautomatic machine gun.
- Rocketeer-73 - A very powerful, M.E.G. grade bazooka capable of firing missiles more than a hundred feet away and possessing five times the explosive power of an average RPG.
- Blitzkrieg-96 - A high powered, lightweight, M.E.G. Grade Minigun capable of firing more than 8,000 rounds per minute.
- Boomer-65 - An M.E.G. grade grenade launcher capable of firing powerful, M.E.G. grade grenades up to 500 meters away.
- Flamer-87 - An M.E.G. grade flamethrower capable of dousing multiple targets in flames by firing a concentrated, projectile stream of fire up to twenty feet away.
- Napalm Pistol - A high-tech, pistol-like firearm that fires powerful, incendiary, Napalm-based rounds that explode and causes the target to burst into flames upon hit.
- Sticky Bomb Launcher - A grenade launcher-type that fires high-tech encase in shells of extremely adhesive fluid capable of sticking onto any surface, the bombs within the fluid will explode when in entity is within a six foot radius.
Throwing
- Entity Gas Grenade - A special gas Grenade containing a potent chemical concoction that acts an extreme irritant towards entities that turns into gas upon making contact with air. An excellent tool in deterring entities.
- M.E.G. Hand Grenade - An M.E.G. grade hand grenade with a plasma-based chemical component that causes it to explode in a super-heated plasma-based explosion upon detonation capable of reducing most organic matter to radiated ash.
- Shock Grenade - An electrical hand grenade capable of expelling bolts of electrified plasma through multiple “pores” that will electrocute multiple targets upon activation.
- Venom Daggers - Special M.E.G. throwing knives with blades that secretes a specialized poison. This poison slowly deteriorates organ functions in entities, causing physical deterioration and excruciating pain until eventual death.
Notes
- M.E.G. Weaponry can sometimes be found in certain levels throughout the Backrooms, allowing non-M.E.G. personnel to pick up and use these weapons for their own use.
