"Scary"

What does it mean to be "scary?" It can oftentimes be the immense rush of adrenaline when you're jump scared; perhaps in a game or movie. Is that really "scary?" Let me ask you a question; why are the Backrooms eerie? Is it because of the countless Fandom wiki levels that are simply horrifying, such as Level !? Is it due to the many ruthless groups in the Backrooms? If you ask me, it is because of the shock; not that of a jumpscare, but that of being unnerved. You are brought to the Backrooms, unknowing of where you are, unknowing of why you are here. Yet, most unnerving of all... you don't know if you're alone.
