I'd like your help with dealing with this—we already have the Impersonator entry; the M.E.G. has already protected that page from vandalism. I hope you can delete this page, because frankly, I don’t ever want to see it again. This is an abomination to read. And was the "Not amogus related" note seriously necessary?

The first known Impostor—as you can see, he looks like that one guy from Drake and Josh, but with a shaggy hairstyle… I mean the other guy, not the one who pled guilty to who-knows-what. Anyway, that’s besides the point.

Number: Idk man, does this number even matter? Like, what's stopping me from making this Entity 30 or Entity 81872? The M.E.G.? Screw them. I don't need approval for this page, I'll just post whatever I want. They're stupid if they delete this page anyway. I totally put effort in it.

Description

Impostors are a super powerful entity (totally not Impersonators) which appear to be an alien race, like every entity of the Backrooms is. Like Impersonators, they can imitate the physical features of their kills. They might stab people with their tongue or pull out a gun seemingly out of thin air and execute you JFK style. The latter method is their preferred choice of killing, as it grants bonus style points. They tend to say “sus” a lot, especially when you say something that isn't true. How they know whether you're telling the truth, I don't know.

You also can't hurt them. But they can hurt you. They have some indestructible skin thing on them that heals every time you try to injure them. The Impostor hunts in phases, with each phase being more dangerous than the last, causing hallucinations and sanity loss as time goes on.

10 minutes in - Phase 1: It is white and passive, it won't harm you.

20 minutes in - Phase 2: It becomes grey and will be hostile if provoked.

1 hour in - Phase 3: It becomes black and will attack you on sight.

2 years in - Phase 4: [Insert Creepy Zalgo/Glitched Text Here]

1000000000000000000 decades in - Phase 5: Wanderer is dead no matter what he or she does.

???: Did you ever test this? Witness this?

The one doofus writing this page: Well, no, but like it makes them sound more powerful and scary.

Of course, as with every shapeshifting entity that exists on this database, Impostors have a true form, but of course, nobody has ever seen it. Why you may ask? Take a look at this note from the author of this page:

”I got lazy. Oh, and this is my first page, plz dont kill me.” ~ This page's author.

Oh, and everyone who sees the true form of any shapeshifting entity is presumed dead. For whatever reason, if you see a shapeshifting entity that hasn’t taken the appearance of another thing, you're dead.

Hell, I'm starting to think these entities don't even have true forms—the true form description stuff only done to "raise the mystery factor" of these pages.

Oh, and they'll kill you on sight. But like, they have a weakness.

I won't provide any further information—nobody even fills out this section or acknowledges its existence when adding Entity stuff to the whatchamacallit.

Author Note: To be completely honest, I don't even know what this Impostor thing does. But like, the M.E.G.'s going to remove my page if I don't put something here, so I'll just throw down “hostile and really, really wants to kill you” as the thing. That’ll at least save it from deletion.

Discovery

To be honest, we don't know, but we think we first saw them in Level 0, Level 1, or Level 2 because that's where everyone first sees almost every entity logged in the database.

Since I suck at writing description, I have a log to help. Unfortunately, it has no timestamp and you have zero clue as to who in the world it is. Like that one guy at the top of the page… what’s his name, Carl Heisenberg? Who is he? It never was explained. Yeah, I don’t know who NoobMaster69 or Bob is.

hello I am a person stuck in the backrooms it came up to me it didn’t even try to hid it pretended to be a.. old friend but when he got there he didn’t even say hi he just started to attack. I ran i survived but it was close I’m on level █ I’ve been researching these I’ll keep them in my meg base our meg base kinda has a zoo with a bunch of entity’s for studying purposes but I will be researching on this change of behavior and what’s causing it. thankfully i came out with no scars or injuries whatsoever

MESSAGE FROM ??? TO HEISENBERG: Sorry, I can't really delete this page; it looks like the majority of entity pages today. If I were to delete this page, we would have to delete 90% of the entity pages in this database. I see nothing wrong with it.
