Description
The Impresario Hypothesis is a widely-accepted, yet very secretive belief that the leaders of the M.E.G. are representatives from the major and/or important colonies of any levels.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Farlequn Empire
- The Graces
- The Cashew Empire
- The Kingdom of Clarn
- New Roman Empire
The members of these colonies that act as rulers of the M.E.G are theorized to be:
- Emperor Darleen
- Leslie
- August II
- Trajan XIII
Theory Status
Although this theory is somewhat realistic, there is little to no proof nor believers of it due to its secrecy.
However, there is genuine "evidence," provided by an unknown member of the Hypothesis. It is a letter, from the leader of the Graces.
Dearest Trajan, this is Leslie of the Graces, code Roma. The M.E.G is doing well in this sector, with multiple outposts and units patrolling the majority of it. I heard of many things going on in the lower portion of Sector I, is that true? I heard of a man in an outpost on Level 0 who died defending it, which was quite heroic. However, I've not been down there in quite a while. It'd be wonderful to hear back from you, and how your sector is doing. Again, code Roma. This is Leslie of the Graces, Long Live the M.E.G.
According to the believers of this theory, this is evidence that Trajan XIII of Rome and Leslie of the Graces are members of the M.E.G.'s leadership.
Leaders' Roles
A paper was intercepted, which doesn't prove The Impresario Hypothesis, but does further add to the fact that the leaders are part of a group. It is believed that they rule the M.E.G. sector by sector.
M.E.G. S1-Trajan, accounted for.
That was all - it is believed to be part of more paperwork, however this was simply the last line on one page, reading far more.
The Impresario
The Impresario Hypothesis goes off leadership by group - yet some actually believe that there is one ultimate leader of the Impresario group. Who it is is unknown. The same goes for their very own existence.
Death of a Leader
Throughout the Backrooms, it is widely known that Level 1009 has had many leaders throughout its' history, all coming up to the modern leader, Leslie. It is unknown, however, what happens if an Impresario dies - some believe that the position is hereditary, and has been passed down since The Graces were formed, the same applying for Backrooms Rome, The Cashew Empire, and the Farlequn Empire.
