Description

This level is a mind-bending chaos that affects mental health by making people insane. All grass is a pinkish-purple colour and the sky is light grey. All clouds are green in this level and those clouds rain yellow milk (that contain lactose). Your body colour is inverted in this level and when you leave, has a small chance of giving you a disease called ‘Periodic Colour Corpionem Syndrome’ where this change happens randomly for a few seconds to a few hours. This disease goes away over time with medication, but the longer you have this, the more insane you get.

Survival Guide

Upon entering, the wanderer is greeted with these repeated words: ”Heart of the Star, a jewel you’ll have to find!” Those words will echo for the wanderer’s whole stay. whole stay. Then the wanderer will be surrounded by 100 books. An echoing voice will say “Choose the book that’s called ‘Heart of the Star’, and I will not kill you…” This is a lie.

Do Not Grab These Books:

Heart of the Star.

If you grab this book, you will be sent to the torture chamber. There is a way out from here but it really hard to get to.

Family Funtime

If you grab this book, you will be transported to Level Fun.

A Wanderer’s Guide To All Backrooms Foods

As innocent as it seems, this transports you to The Void.

It’s Dead

If you grab this book, you will be transported to a random Deadzone level.

Grab These Books:

Hallway of No End

If you grab this book, you will be transported to The Hub.

Touching The Sky

If you grab this book, you will be transported to Level 11.

Yellow Eye

If you grab this book, you will be transported to Level 0.

Note that all books that are not listed here will make you insane.

Survival Guide (continued…)

Note that all books have a 10% chance of making you insane.

If you are sent to the torture chamber, the only known escape is to noclip into The Inflicter (more on him in the ‘Entities’ section). When it telepathically communicates with The Instructor, it blinks for about half of a second. This is the only time it ever blinks. When it does that, spread out one of your hands wide like you are showing the number ‘5’ with your fingers. Then grab The Inflictor’s right arm just above the fire. This, for unknown reasons, turns the fire blue. When you grab and twist this part of its body, its blink is extended by 8 times (so it lasts for four seconds) and then lower your head. With your foot, touch all of the moss-covered bricks on the floor. Whisper ‘Bird-friend openings’ and the cell will open. Then charge! Remember to keep your head down to make the impact less painful, and then you will find yourself in Level 73. If you fail this, you will be heavily tortured and become insane.

Entities

The Instructor

This is the entity you meet at the start with all of the books. It is an invisible entity but when you pick the book called ‘Heart of the Star’, it will become visible and lead you to the torture chamber. This reveals that it is a behemoth of a being, hovering above the ground. It has orange spikes pointing out of it. The body of it is pink with green dots. Its teeth are those of a canine, and yellow with plaque.

The Inflicter

When you go to the torture chamber, you see this entity. It is a humanoid entity with a red mask that looks like a hazmat mask. Its body is crimson in colour, and its feet and legs are very dark orange. On its left arm, it has sharp white razors and the right has a flame. This flame cannot kill, but it is just the right temperature to inflict serious burns.

The Transporter

If you do not choose a book within 2 minutes and 32.4 seconds (weirdly accurate, I know), this will appear. It will force the book ‘It’s Dead’ towards you. Obviously, this will transport you to a random Deadline level. This entity looks like The Grim Reaper but without a scythe. There are also light red eyes glowing out of the hood.

Colonies & Outposts

There is a colony, but it is ruled by entities. It doesn’t have an official name, but wanderers commonly refer to it as ‘Torture Entities of the 50s’.

Radio Talk To The M.E.G. From Wanderers

Radio Talk 1 Between The M.E.G.

Unknown Real Name, But This Wanderer Wants To Be Known As The Tiger: Err…hello?

M.E.G. Officer Bill: What is your problem.

The Tiger: I am stuck in Level 1482 and have found this weird portal.

Bill: Can you describe it to me?

The Tiger: It’s red and blue, swirly like the others.

Bill: This portal…has…erm…not been documented.

The Tiger: Ok. I’ll go in it…facelings are coming for me. I’ve lost my arms already!

Bill: Ok, I wish you luck. I’m crossing my fingers!

The line goes dead for a few minutes.

The Tiger: Oh my…I’m back in the yellow place…what’s it called again?

Bill: Level 0.

The Tiger: Yes, yes, that thing.

Bill: Tell me, what happened?

The Tiger: So I went through and there was this voice echoing at me…and it was telling me to grab a book, because there were many books around me. I looked around and didn’t grab the book it wanted me to. I grabbed a book called Yellow Eye and now I’m here.

Bill: Strange…we will send a M.E.G. scout. Now that you are back at Level 0, I guess you won’t need any more help.

The Tiger: Ok, bye!

Radio Talk Ends.
