Description
A picture of the landscape
Level Primal, sometimes dubbed as The Lost World, is a still quite mysterious level in the backrooms, as not many people have explored it. It is set in the Mesozoic Era, often called The Age Of The Dinosaurs. It is quite dangerous, with volcanoes scattered across the landscape in some places and monstrous entities that can't be found in any other level. It is much warmer than the planet right now and it is covered by arid scrublands, tropical rainforests and huge swampy lakes, where the biggest entity of all time, the unknown Water Monster of Level Primal swims. It is roamed by dinosaurs and other huge prehistoric creatures, dwarfving the resident cavelings, ancestors of modern facelings. This level is a part of a bunch of levels names “the past” or “when the earth was young” it is mostly known as “the prehistoric levels”
Entities
Caveling (an early ancestor of the modern faceling)
Cynodont (an aggressive, horrifying-looking stem-mammal that looks like a cross between a lizard and a dog (was actually a thing back in the Permian and Triassic periods))
Hellraptor (a disgusting looking dromaeosaurid who uses it's chicken-like crest to slice it's victims like an axe)
Komodo dragon (lol i added it for fun (didn't know any other names for a giant fictional lizard so I went for this))
Mammoth turtle (a large omnivorous turtle with horns and armor)
Terrordactyl (a 2.5-meter-tall pterosaur with a dense coat of pcynofibers (fur-like filaments). He swoops in at it's unsuspecting prey and grabs them with it's toothy jaws)
Giant spider (just a giant spider that is terrifying)
Murder Rex (an extremely-bloodthirsty theropod, 10 meters in length (not actually a T. rex). Uses it's long claws to shred it's prey into pieces)
The Water Monster of Level Primal (a huge pliosaur that lurks the in the huge lakes and other water bodies of Level Primal. It is yet to be officially named. People still don’t know it’s size, as encounters are extremely rare, but the largest estimates are about 2 miles long, much bigger than the Jeddah Tower of Saudi Arabia, probably making it the largest entity of the backrooms. It will eat almost anything that it can see, even huge inedible buildings
Note: other entities like other dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures can be found as well
The Rhynchosaurs (A group of entities resembling those of the order Rhynchosauria, they have cheek pouches and porcine snouts unlike most other descriptions of rhynchosaurs, they can be a little miffed at any time)
Entrance
Drown in a pool of Almond Water in Level 5678
Sometimes in Level 50 or above there'll be a time machine embedded in the wall, you only have a few minutes or it will dissappear.
You can also go to Level 11’s Backrooms Museum. The room which will soon have the new Murder Rex specimen dubbed "Rex" has a time machine too, that won’t disappear.
Level 173
Exit
The few ways to exit are to wait for the asteroid to hit the Yucatan Peninsula or just die.
also Level 173
You can also drown in the lake where the unknown Water Monster lives in to be transported to Level 5678.
Colonies and Outposts
The only ones you can find around Level Primal are caveling tribes, but they are mostly territorial to intruders.
